As a paramedic, I 100% agree. Regardless of company or department policies, the EMT would absolutely have a duty to act. They would have both civil and criminal liability for refusing to provide care. They could only refuse while the patient was out of control, but as soon as the scene was clear, no excuse is warranted. The cops could be arrested and charged under 18 USC 242 deprivation of rights under color of law. The civil suit would be under 42 USC 1983.

You see a lot of that in North Carolina where EMTs environment are in line with the local police and county sheriff's.

I haven’t watched thousands of these videos yet, but I think you’re absolutely right. Add to all the body cam evidence like this being accrued, that the police are legally allowed to lie and trick citizens in the course of an investigation, one has to conclude law enforcement is not ever to be trusted as you said. It’s sad because body cam videos also shows many, many officers being long suffering good public servants. But the evidence like this of individual corruption is way too common for anyone to drop his or her guard when dealing law enforcement.

Isn't it ironic, (and extremely hypocritical,) seeing how the "DOJ" has bypassed and disregarded our constitutional laws themselves, using their own policies of enforcement against people who don't support the current political party's administration and so called leadership?
It is so revealing seeing "our" government, openly allowing corruption among themselves and conducting a selective 2-tiered application of justice, that clearly displays how it intentionally favors a political ideology in the most blatantly unethical, in-your-face and deliberately abusive way. Then, once confronted publicly, they lie and refuse to or pretend not to know the answers when questioned - under oath. Who could possibly trust or have confidence in "the DOJ", to administer justice properly with such an absence of respect or conscience? It smells so awfully of corruption and dishonesty it's obscene. Hearing that the DOJ was investigating this situation, gave me no comfort or confidence, at all. For all we know, these city officers are enticed (likely with financial perks) to support the current political regime, only to be later "thrown under the bus" so the higher ups can look like they're "doing their job". No wonder the charging officer got so offended when called a tyrant or a traitor. Most liars act irrationally or with intimidation when they're exposed. Just another example of the dysfunction people have to endure when commie-crats take over a city or state. Do they honestly think we can't see them weaponizing the justice system against who ever calls them on their lies? They better do more than just "investigate" for this family. I could just see them doing nothing to compensate the family because they are against the family's religious beliefs. It wouldn't be the 1st time. Shameless scum.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for telling us the OUTCOME to the ridiculous charges vs other channels who never tell outcomes and act like all police actions are legal & necessary when they are CLEARLY acting illegally.

Absolutely wild seeing this cop pushing and shoving multiple people just to assault a guy that called him a tyrant. Fire everyone involved and complacement.

that was too crazy I agree being a retired law enforcement officer you try to de-eslcate a situation like that. I didn't see the reason for tazing the rev, hopefully you will do a follow-up on this case.

Another example of "contempt of cop." The worst part about this video is how calm and confident the police officer is "after" the encounter as if he did nothing wrong.

Out of all the auditing channels out there, this one is by far the best. Fact based and objective, and takes the time to look into the specific laws regarding the incidents.
    Very well done!

No, it's not. It has a clear pattern of bias towards the police and finding any and every single way to give them an excuse for their actions. The only time he'll give officers a failing grade is if they're fired or arrested every other time. I've seen this guy give them c's b's and A's, which is absurd.

the worst part of this is that the reverend turned away to go into the church, the other guy stood in between them to de-escalate the situation and then the officer attacked him, it's just completelly horrible.

14:28 Why does the EMT with the boot haircut feel the need to wear handcuffs on a duty belt? Everyone else in an EMS uniform is packing things like TQs and this clown feels like LARPing.

Great video as always. I suggest for viewer comfort to try and fix the audio (or at least make it a bit more bearable). If that has already been tried, it would be great to have accurate subtitles to be able to turn down the volume while still understanding what's being said in the video :)

Just called and spoke to a lovely lady on reception at Worcester MA about this situation....I'm from UK and considering visiting US for a holiday and use these types of videos to help decide where I visit etc...she asked me to send an email which I did....I hope all involved are OK and totally get what they deserve, as well as the city public, no one deserves supposed "safety/law enforcers" making them the victim....Good luck USA

Ive said it many many times in ur comments that the east coast cops are really really bad!! I live in Connecticut. Most auditors live on the west Coast so our cops have mainly been left alone to continue really bad policing of the 90's system. Im always so incredibly thankful when you an others highlight horrible cops from this coast because its really needed. Thank you 🙏

Cop walks up in the blind spot of a guy, asks him who he is, doesn't get an immediate response, and tells him to go inside immediately. That's not what your first course of action should be. You didn't arrive on scene to control everyone in the area, especially someone that is part of the scene
