First rule of Trickstar: Never maxx C Trickstar. There's not a single build that doesn't heavily punish it.
Maxx c trickstar is a misplay but an understandable one considering how niche the deck is. Maxx c with a face up apropriate on the field is inexcusable

I did that once when my brain was on autopilot and I happened to draw into Nibiru like 3 draws later and that happened to end their turn. I would not recommend relying on that kind of luck against Trickstar lmao
@mattyorshin I belive in the tcg they are still limited/semi even to this day(minor edit they seem to be off the list in the tcg but In the ocg light stage and reincarnation are still limited/semi

Opponent in the 1st duel was just completely unaware, didn't know, lacked the pertinent information, had the wool pulled over their eyes, left wanting in regards to knowing, & whatever else could be said about how played they were
Maxx C is one of the most powerful cards in the game, except against Trickstars which 9 times out of 10 will lead to you getting wiped out that turn.

Trickstar Aggro might be my favorite Duel Links deck. They can burn, Direct Attack, and pull burst damage out of nowhere. I also love how hard they can punish Maxx "C" in Master Duel but have yet to finalize a build there.

My first ever constructed deck was Appropriate Exodia way back in the day.
It was really funny when I had a mirror match and our appropriates created an infinite loop until my opponent drew Exodia first.
So it's a standoff

The best part about Appropriate Exodia (or Exodia, Appropriate! ?) is that you can still lose the game, even if your opponent resolves Maxx C:
If you have an odd number of cards left in deck and the final piece is the very last one, Appropriate will try to draw two but can't. If I recall correctly, you do check for alternative win conditions mid-chain but only _after each resolved chain link,_ so you should lose by deckout before the game realises the alternative win condition in your hand.
That first duel was EmperorStove's worst nightmare.
Now the real question, why is subterror fiendess a spellcaster and not a fiend?

I do know. I saw it coming months ago. The way you get new cards was horrendously bad. The game was a money pit. One thought I would put 70 dollars down. Only got 2 UR 4 Sr. Duel links or master due would have given way better cards.

@LukeVonKarma: I was expecting this to happen to be more funny, he would have one card left in his deck, and the last card is the last peace of exodia, and he special summoned a monster, to make the opponent draw one card, and then he draw 2 for approriated, but end-up only drawing one, he out deck himself and the exact same time he out deck with appropriated making the game end in a draw, this is because appriopriated is a continous effect, and not an effect that start a chain, so even if unable to completely draw the 2 card because of it being continous effect, it is considered done resolving even thought it was incomplete, unlike in Master duel using sharde of greed to draw 2 card when you have two left and your opponent chain a card that cause you to lose one card in your deck, since pot of greed start a chain it only stop resolving when you draw 2 card, and since you only have one card to draw, so it is never done resolving so that is why you out deck lose before the win of exodia happen since the win condition can only happen in between chain number and after chain link 1 resolve.

I've seen some dumb Maxx C activations before. Heck, I play trickstar. That though, has got to be the dumbest one I've ever seen.
