Hi Robert, just wanted to say how great your videos are. I watch loads of these type of lessons and yours have two elements which are super helpful - you play all the content that appears in the subsequent lessons near the beginning. You link when the playing starts although your lessons start promptly. Some don't start playing several mins in.
On possible suggestion...could you leave the riff/lick number up on screen you're breaking down during its entirety so when skipping ahead you immediately know which one you've landed on? Just a thought.
I love the 'lesser' known riffs - the Zep riffs were great!

Those are some nice blues licks.
You know what could be a cool idea? Have fans make their own "backing tracks" whether it be a baseline with drums and such, or just some guitar rhythm and then Rob makes it into a short video where he solo's over it in his style. Maybe a patreon thing? Who knows

Sorry, Robert, I have one more suggestion, try not to change the camera angle in the middle of the riff, it's extremely distracting as the brain has to reposition the sequence all over again, especially not helpful in the middle just when the viewer is developing familiarity with the note sequence and pattern

It's blues, not metal. You don't need distortion for blues solos, just a little overdrive
LieutenantFalcon urgh. Typical blues-elitist comment... robert is a rockplayer and his Sound and licks are awesome for that.
Robert plays metal, and metal goes paired with gain. blues just needs a hint of overdrive but he goes full distortion and delay.
Im not some 'blues elitist'. I like almost everything that has a guitar in it. But you can't just cranck everything to 10 on your gain pedal and call it blues. You wouldn't play metal without gain, or play SVR without a shitload of reverb, would you?
Some things aren't meant to be.
Those licks have nothing to do with blues.
