I tend to focus so much on just theory, I enjoy it but generally nobody wants to hear a talk on music theory, they want to hear you play music. This is great advice.

I'm practicing my D minor scale and wah pedal sound by looping the riff to Cream's "White Room". Not only is it such an amazing guitar solo, but the wah tone is out of this world.
There is no better feeling while playing guitar than playing a song you love, and improvising the solo over the riff.
Great video, you earned a new subscriber and reoccurring viewer.

Some great examples there - but I think Johnny Marr is the number one - an all round widely influenced artist that could easily play at of those styles you’ve covered and elements incorporated in his songs over the years if you listen

Thank you so much, Adrian for a wonderful selection of riffs to play in 2024. I've been watching your guitar lessons for a few years and particularly like your McGeoch work. He was the first pro guitarist that I saw live with the Banshees in 1981 on the Juju tour and am full of respect and appreciation for the quality lessons that you've done on his fantastic guitar parts. I love Johnny Marr, Nile Rodgers and the Only Ones too and have really enjoyed learning some of their parts from your lessons. Could you do some early Peter Buck (REM) guitar parts? Many thanks.
