this pmv is about how frecklewish processes her grief and how her brothers death affected her world view
characters in order are: frecklewish, birchface, flowerpaw, mapleshade, larchkit, patchkit, petalkit, ravenwing and appledusk from warrior cats

You know, i half expected the ending to take a turn and seeing frecklewish wake up in the dark forest (since thats what the writers said happened, idk if they changed that) but its nice to see her happy in the end
I am foaming at the mouth, this is so goood. The flower symbolism is amazing too. Im not too sure on Freckle’s flower, but Mapleshade’s is a red dahlia, and those often symbolize betrayal! Overall this is beautiful.i love the way the Pmv cuts from cartoony cuteness to realistic horror so quick. You have earned yourself a new subscriber!

I loved the symbolism of the flowers/fruits, as well as the artstyle that was used
To this Day I still don’t know how ashfur, killed his leader, threatened to kill kits, went to starclan, but frecklewish, who did absolutely nothing wrong went to the dark forest???
All because he “loved too hard”..
He led Firestar into the trap, causing him to lose a life by the neck wound.
Still, Freckles did bad and even terrible things, but not enough to get DF
If she had tried to save the kits, she probably would have just drowned along with them.
I love this so much, it’s perfect- the story telling is perfect, the emotion, the flowers that slowly appear. I think the background and color choice also fits with the characters expressions. You can see how frecklewish becomes more and more somber as it goes on, and the reappearance of the flowers. I believe the flower that she got after her brothers passing resembled her grief and loss, and it develops as she learns about Mapleshade. And I love how you let her in Starclan! Sorry if this is long, I just love this pmv! Amazing job!

i love this so much! i think i cracked the code in the flowers lol. the flowers are ok cats she doesn’t know very well/ at all. so.. freckle’s flower comes up right after her brother’s death, meaning she lost a price of herself when he died, and also foreshadowing where she’s gonna get bit. maple’s flowers are red dhilas (dunno if i spelled that right) which mean betrayal *I THINK*, also, freckle doesn’t know her as well as she thinks she does. the kits have flowers at their paws, meaning freckle knows a lot about them, just not their father. and the short time apple’s on screen, he has a flower covering his whole face, meaning freckle doesn’t know him at all
This is AMAZING! I cannot stop watching it. It fits well with the beat of the song, and sets a mood. And you put so much detail and expression, agh! I ADORE it! And the flowers fit the characters well, too. You have a flower for each character- in which the symbols fit them well! Also! I thought I'd make this so it's easy to know what they mean.
(FreckleWish) White Gerpoms: Childlike, Simplicity.
(MapleShade) Red Dahlia: Betrayal, Dishonesty.
(Kits) Cornflower: Resilience, Freedom. They were also used to decorate graves, I think? When I looked into it, there were a lot of meanings to behold.
(AppleDusk) Poppy: Death, Remembrance.
These are super cool, I never realized how flowers can hold deep meanings! To anyone reading this, you should definitely look into them more!

God I love the use of real flowers it’s so uncanny seeing the change in art style and I love it (also I thought the song was gonna be the one by Smashing Pumpkins but this goes even harder)
I really loved this video and art! All the flower symbolic meanings, the flash of emotion and reality. The unfortunate sight of the kits dying, to everything.
I absolutely loved how she's with her brother in the end in Starclan. To me, she will always be in Starclan. She was never evil or blatantly evil.
This is such a unique concept I love it sm with the flowers and all,I’m not sure if when in one frame when frecklewish claws maple symbolizes something but I’d assume it,along with that the flowers on frecklewish eyes probably foreshadow her death?
the flower did foreshadow her death, yes!!! but also the specific flowers shown have certain meanings so i encourage people to look into them haha
the style being switched when freck claws maple is basically just symbolism of frecklewishs world view being warped! the happy simple style symbolizes her desire for a simple happy life and the realistic stuff happening is basically symbolism of reality intruding her fantasies

This is beautiful! I love the switch to a more realistic style when dark things happen like Maple getting scratched, and Freckle seeing the kits in danger. Both led to Maple killing her. I also love the flowers, and how the type of flower (as pointed out in another comment) is related to the character and their actions! And how at the end, Freckle's flower is replaced by a black mark where she was bittene by the snake. The fact you portrayed Freckle's relationship with her brother at the beginning and then the end also makes this PMV so much more touching. I love your art style, too. Amazing job, great video. ❤️✨

Poor Freckle, she really just wanted her brother’s reign to live on, only to discover “BirchFaces” kits were AppleDusk’s (his murderer)
Holy hell this is amazing! I love how it explores the nuances of her character and her grief accurately. Also the flowers are a nice touch. God I wish she had gone to Starclan like this shows. This is probably one of the best Frecklewish related things I've seen imo.

I love the use of imagery and flower motif you used in this!! I love the idea of exploring frecklewish's perspective! Though I miiiiight not agree with all of her actions, I can't blame her and would be lying if I said I wouldn't have done what she did. This also just highlights just how manipulative Mapleshade really was.
Imagine if someone used your recent brother's death to squeeze out sympathy and care from you. You learn to love your presumed niblings thinking it's the last piece of your brother just to find out it was all a lie??? Sheesh talk about reopening a very fresh wound.

And appledusk's flower is a poppy, wich simbolism eternal life or death in some situations, you can also use poppy seeds to produce a powerful drug that makes people sleep, idk how it would be related to appledusk tho

mapleshades are red dahlias which symbolize betrayal
mapleshades kits are blue cornflowers which symbolize blessings
and appledusks is a poppy which symbolizes hope for a peaceful feature and a harbinger of evil

@@TheDragonCat99 Yes! Hell yes! I think it would be a "cool" idea if StarClan unfairly punished cats. Like Hawkfrost got into the DF, but Ashfur didn't. What if cats who only minorly broke the warrior code went to the DF? For example, Leafpool. Or maybe Lionblaze because he trained in hell, hell maybe even Birchfall (Dove &Ivy's) dad because he did the same.

I mean come on.. poor girly, why is nobody talking about the fact that she lost her MOM at such a young age and in such a violent way... and now her brother drowns because of AppleDusk..
I mean yes Maple is a victim too, but Freckle is also a direct victim not only to the story, but also to Maple's actions on its own.
She cherished kits that turned out to be the kits of her brother's murderer.. she basically got lied to her whole life.. the only thing ""bad"" she actually did(even if there was reasons behind that) is when she clawed at MapleShade.
And Maple fans dont get me started with the "she saw the kits drowned and did nothing" what was she supposed to do as a tc cat? She would probably had died trying to save them anyway...
I still dont understand why out of all the characters in MapleShade's vengeance, they chose HER to go in the Dark Forest with Maple- Like- What? When as she ever broke the code?

Ah, thats why I don’t remember her. I was very dumb when I started reading the books, so I started in power of three.. I know who she is now, but I didn’t know her name was frecklewish. Well that’s confusing because according to google there is a cat names freckle wish as the skyclan medicine cat
