@@DEVVIINCA the trick I'm showing in this video was nerved sadly but in part 2 I show a new trick that does work. Shoving two attached stone floor tiles a time under it. Only stone worked for me, it can happen you need to try a few times to get it to work.I really hope it works out for you❤️

Hi friends, in the patch of today 30 of July devs sadly charged the properties of the metal buildblocks. They now no longer ignore hitboxes of other items. This means it's no longer possible to slide blocks under the shipping bin by using a Metal buildblock. But fear not I will go test what will be possible to create a beautiful shippingbin. So...for now ..RIP my beautiful copper pillar. To be continued, I will find another way!
Oh my heart is so broken, I tried to do it today and realized we can't anymore so came back to say something but you are already all over it! Hopefully you'll find a nice replacement! Thanks for the video. ❤️
Someone in a server linked this video and was sad that it did no longer work. However, I have found myself easily able to slide the Builders Stone Floors underneath the shipping bin (previously I was unable to), by just linking two and grabbing the one that I can place onto the buildable area. It seems to more often work when I do it per two, instead of the entire floor in one go, but perhaps this could be the fix? If it is just switch exclusive, then the Switch players finally got some luck, haha

I love your idea's and the final design. Already had a lot of fun decorating my own bin, as you already have seen. This however trickers lot's of idea's for other parts of my plot. Need to try out the "magic wand" trick as well, because that sure makes some of the designing a bit easier.

excuse me miss anne, how are you able to place the pillar on the wall cabinet like that? is that how youre able to place it further down near the shipping bin? i cannot seem to figure it out, ive tried with different pillars as well
@@venusella hi, sadly that trick is no longer possible after the patch...the nerve of the metal pillars broke that trick. I haven't found a other way yet, it might be possible with some glitching technique but that's not something I understand.
i adore Anne's tutorial videos and they're super helpful. but for anyone reading this, i wanted to ask: do these still work? bc every time i put anything under the shipping bin, it says "something is in the way" or "invalid placement" :c i especially love the third one they build, bc it's giving such "shipping bin" vibes with all the clutter. but sadly it doesn't seem like i can build it anymore . does anyone know if it was "fixed" in the recent patches or...? ;3;
First off, im so happy you like my tutorials, second yes this trick still works but then without using the pillar. In a part 2 of this video I show the new trick after they nerved the one you seen in the part 1 video. I hope you get it to work, good luck!
Hey Anne, :) seems as if we won't be able to do the magic wand trick anymore because the metal building blocks now have the same behavior as the wooden and stone ones?
Your not doing anything wrong, devs changed some object behavior so this trick I'm showing is no longer possible. But I have a solution, just need to record a new how tomorrow.
@@Susanwit I used a wooden tree ornament from the winter light Festival event. That recipe is no longer available if you don't have that item. Log cabin wall tourches look very good aswell if you don't have those ornements.
How expensive are the Maji Market items? I need to start saving, especially with the new update tomorrow. I just want kind of an idea just how much I need to aim for.... I want ALL the cool stuff I see other people have who have played longer than I have.
@@CarlOleson as I remember items are around 1k and up. First maji market was very early game so I had like 100k to my name. Saving up is very smart, I want a big amount of money available aswell. Unless they put everything behind getting tickets again by playing games......
The funy thing, I had it almosr all done last night, one thing messed it all up so I had to take it all down. Now Im sitting here trying to do it again, and it is not working. So frustrating
@@silkice75 sadly they changed the metal block configuratien, so they no longer ignore hitboxes if items, like the shippingbin. Only way to create what I made is now go around it, that still works and can look very pretty but it won't be the same.
@@silkice75 its sad they nerv things that so many people enjoy using, in a creative way not in a harmfull one. Im just glad there is a nother way for the floor.
for some reason the bug don't works for me , it says you don't own the land yet and i can't place my blocks outside , i'm tired of thinking if bug is removed or what .
@@YashSharma-hc8ir Idk if it's a bug to the game. If you want to build outside your bounds, your first buildblock always needs to be on your plot for it to work. Then add like for example more floor blocks. But it's important to aim at the block you already placed for it to work. It's kind of hard to explain. Think I'll try to explain in a little video as more people struggle.
@@wolfenergy4859 sadly not, And I doubt they will. In patchnote it said they made the metal ones the same Configuration as the wood and stone ones. Do no more magic with the metal buildblocks
If the floor tiles are snapped to each other, the grass will poke out... You have to place it on top of the grass itself and then group select, that fixes the issue!
I feel dumb watching these types of videos. You do such a good job of explaining it, but I can't replicate it. I just get 'you don't own this land yet' and it matters not what pillar or how far on my owned land the build starts. I love your design though!
@@stestany I'm very happy to show you ingame a one on one how to. I forgot to show that the first buildblock needs to be in your build grid. Then you can keep adding and adding. But I might just make a little video about how to build out of bounds in general.

This apparently has everything to do with how you place the floors (like in which direction), so honestly it is really an odd thing

you need the wand yes, or a gourmet item to get the trellis over the bin. Group select that item ontop and you should be able to move it over the bin.

Is the magic wand any Pilar? Or does it have to be a certain kind of Pilar?

Yeah it's super odd and many times a little ugly. Let's just call it Palia magic🪄
