    This is not table tennis, but war on the table.

      I am shocked at how little intelligence, creativity and fine game elements reduce table tennis as a game to the basic and uninspired thrashing of the ball.
      It looked like training exercises, where the end of the rally came to an end on the second or at the latest the third ball. Pure gymnastics without playfulness and recognizable individualism.
      The days of interesting and creative TT are over. It is clear that there are players like Waldner, Persson, Grubba, Kreanga, Samsonov, Kong Linhui, Wang Liqin, Ma Lin and others will never give again. Today play only robots (with a few exceptions).
      The fault for the negative development of this sport lies with the players, the more so with the officials, new materials (plastic ball) and strange rules of the game, which are constantly renewed and changed. Actually a shame for the beautiful sport. I don't like table tennis in the form.

    Falck got burned with that serve coming off the side of the table. That was Lin’s go to. He re-looped that thing like there was no tomorrow

    • @LuisRodriguez-lk9nh
      @LuisRodriguez-lk9nh 4 года назад

      Falck's mistake was that he looped Lin's serve several times to the same exact spot so Lin was already expecting that ball on his backhand. The one time Falck looped Lin's serve more towards the Lin's forehand he won the point. He should've repeated it more but he went back to Lin's backhand, and that's where he made the error.

    Falck連續兩場把在反手位以反手見長的張本和林高遠打爆,真是令人印象深刻。
    鄭榮植的反手是連續性,手感,糾纏能力很強,Falck的反手還加上一條粉碎力,感覺其他選手在反手上基本扛不住他兩下。而同時,Falck的正手功夫顯然就沒有很突出,三板斧的殺傷力夠可以,但是連續性和穩定性都有些問題,如果能提高一下正手,相信能給所有頂尖選手帶來非常大的麻煩(雖然已經很有威脅)。
    兩場4:3,確實林高遠在臨場調整能力和應變手段上高於現在的張本一籌。
    順便預測一下決賽,我覺得林高遠能贏。

    Lgy's problem is not just mental, consistency is also a big problem for him. he is making a lot of errors just because he wants to take the ball early and hit hard at the same time. Most of the points he lost are due to his own inconsistencies and falck just have to keep the ball on the table to beat lin. lin has high quality shots and he just needs a few shots to take down his opponent. I saw a few points where lin slowed down and brush the ball more and it was effective in taking down the opponent

    i watched this because i want to learn better how to play against short pimps on the fh since 2 of my club colleagues use to play it. What i can take from the match, is: place your pushes several times until you, as the normal rubber player, can can open up the rally with a topspin. Dont try to open to early, especially not against the pimple side. A bad topspin will get murdered by pimples. Maybe even open up more against the opponents normal ruber side since you will more likely get topspin back, which you're used to. Dont try to 'all out brawl' against the pimple player, that's exactly what he wants. Play tactial and find your spot from where you can loop, that makes the pimples player very hard to return. In this exact case here, it was the wide fh topspin from LGY to the wide fh of Falck. This was the hardest shot for Falck to return properly!
    Anyways gg and well played from both!
