thanks very much, i found this one much more enjoyable than the first episode. I'm not a railway enthusiast as such, so i was more interested in seeing closeups of the various plants, plus it brought back fond memories of my time working at the Corby steelworks

Thanks again John. That makes sense and I'm pleased you enjoyed this part more. Even putting aside the railway enthusiasm I do find the steelworks very fascinating

Part 2 now watched Ben and enjoying every minute of it. Because it was a while back when i did the tour there are parts of it i can't remember so it is good to be able to go over old tracks ( pardon the pun ) again. Have also recently been catching up on some of your other videos i had somehow missed. The Hope Valley / Peak Forest one is especially good viewing.

Pleased you are enjoying it Colin. It is fascinating even watching it back myself because you do miss stuff and it's something different.. Thank you again for your comments. Yes the Peak Forest and Hope Valley day out was a good day

I haven’t a clue how I missed these three first time round. Maybe Colin pointed me in your direction later than I thought 😁 Pre-children I actually made a start on a model steelworks / railway - which I had to drop - so these are perfect for me and I really enjoyed them, so thanks Ben! p.s. Did you get a sandwich in the end? 🤣

Thanks Christian. It's funny you mention the model steelworks as I had plans and a massive collection of models ready for a model steelworks but family and worn commitments meant I made the hard decision to sell it all. Although it saved me a lot of time and hobby hours, I do miss it! Pleased you enjoyed these vids though.
remind me about the sandwich? 🤔🤣

@@benGBRf The discussion at the end of the video about the food and the need to have pre-ordered. (I wasn’t sure who it was who had not, but it sounded like yourself 🤣) Made me chuckle, not least as I have been in a similar boat. 😁 I sold my steel mill stuff too - I get wistful sometimes, but like you, family and work leaves me no time, plus that hobby is getting very expensive even if you have the space.

@christianwall7181 Ah yes we did get some food inside the cafe coach. Haha. I remember there being some very nice cake.
I agree on the modelling, it was very expensive which also became a factor in me not being able to carry it on
