I really like the way you do asmr. You always seem to just do what comes natural and you dont really plan for it and it looks like you have a lot of fun doing it. You dont take it too seriously and that is good
brightgreyASMR Yes! It depends heavily on the intonation and context, also in the level of trust or the amount of time that you know the person who you are talking/referring to. Saying "Boludo!" stressing and kinda prolonging the "lu (loo)" part (as intonating it with indignation, concern or grief) could mean like "what a drag!/I can't believe that happened to you!". And saying it softly or with a chuckle or giggle could also be used to say like "you silly!/dummy!" That's why it's a bit tricky, we almost use it for everything lol
Erecahr, I'm from Spain and I'm not sure if the same happens in other languages but, generally speaking, in Spanish, almost every insult can be used in a friendly conversation even with a positive meaning. It just depends on the context and the intonation.
seiprelo sip! Esa es la magia del español, amigo! 😊 I was stating that with a word so Argentinian, it could be a bit tricky for foreigners to get the meaning right because we use it almost for everything
seiprelo At least for german it's totally true. People around 16 to at least 24, maybe older, are insulting themselves regularly in their conversations.
I just had to buy a new pair of earphones, and this was my benchmark test. They pass, and omgdrool you sound soooo good with extra bass, I'm in heaven 😥
It would be interesting to do a video of Scottish-only products - be it food, beauty, toys, etc. I find ASMR even more enjoyable when I learn something new/interesting in the process, and I would love to learn more Scottish culture!
Many years ago I worked in a care home and there was this Glaswegian bloke, a resident. One morning I said hello to him and he replied- "Get tae fuck ya bawbag!" I was speechless. I got the gist of it though, haha.
Us Aussies use "sook" however we also say "Sookie La La". We generally use it to mean a person that is sensitive to whinging and whining, or somebody that complains quite frequently. In a sentence: "Oh, cry me a river ya sookie la la!" 😂
brightgrey, only you could make insulting someone sound so.... captivating and endearing. this is gonna sound strange but some of those insults. you made them sound down right romantic. im not sure i know how i to feel about this.
Thank you! Been using this one for a while but the quality varies depending on the light/how well I can get it to focus. And sometimes I'm lazy and default to webcam for the ease of use. Technology is a struggle

You're such a good ASMRtist that I fell asleep 15 minutes in while I was holding a glass of water and I spilled it all over my bed
Ian Beansen 😂😂😂😂😂
Perfect timing. I have to get relaxed to quietly insult a few scottish guys before going to sleep tonight.
seiprelo
And with "going to sleep tonight" you mean your forehead will land on the filthy wood floor of a random pub?
He, he, he... I was lucky, a good friend brought me home again. ;D :D ;D
A good scottish friend? ;)
Attila theHun, as far as I remember, not so. No idea why all Scottish people I know has blocked me on all their social media accounts this morning. ;)

It's so awesome and tingly! love your accent
I love these! "Boludo" sounds a lot like how we use "pal" over here. Can be innocuous, but said a certain way it's more of a threat.

Extremely disappointed that the greatest insult of 'Yer da sells Avon' is not featured!
Haha that was awesome! I love learning those kind of things :D
I'm laughing to hard at your imitation of Bill saying Sookie. That's so so awesome.

I absolutely love watching her smile, makes it a little hard to close my eyes so I can relax.
Limmy is a hero of our time.

My mom's side of the family has been calling each other numpty for as long as I can remember but we're Canadian.
Aren't most Canadians descended from Scots? I mean, not the French ones obviously..
Mom's side of the family is from Ireland Dad's side is from England and Scotland.

Definitely stealing that one! Although I imagine it's much better in an Australian accent (gutted I can't really do one, it's a favourite)
First of all, you are a stunningly beautiful woman; Second being your accent, it killed me only 3 minutes in.
Thank you for existing ♡
I'd love a southern accent video from you lol. great throwback to True Blood. My favorite part to poke fun of on that show.
Once I was playing x box then some random guy joined from Scotland and said your dad where's Speedos when hes cutting the lawn
Brightgrey asmr nice job on teaching keep up the good work you do.
Calmly listening when I hear a True Blood reference. Thanks for the giggle.
