I can't tell you how much fun I had filming this one!! It's not always realistic to have this much time for prep and filming if I want to make more than one video a month LOL - but gosh it's fun to REALLY take my time every once in a while!! And it was a REALLY fun ~challenge~ to incorporate all of the pieces of advice into one video!! How do you think I did!?
tl;dr - here is the advice I incorporated (paraphrased!)
~Take time to meditate and have a calm mind/be "in the mood" before filming!
~Cozy, low lighting with blue, but also warm, so you feel like you're simultaneously in a tavern and a bedroom
~Use a rim light
~Slow movements and speech (But not too slow!!)
~Using triggers/sounds I personally like
~Starting with louder triggers and ending with softer ones
~Making the viewer feel like the main character
~Deep eye contact with a soft smile
~Adding a level of maximization or whimsy/exaggeration
~Obviously, MCSLEEPY THE SQUIRREL MUST MAKE AN APPEARANCE.
SUCH GOOD ADVICE!!! I love so much how it all came together! And nobody knew what other people had said, so it was crazy to me that it all meshed so well!!
So I decided to go with what I call a ~hybrid/pseudo~ RP, a video that isn't like FULLY removed from the ASMR world/I'm not trying to disguise any ASMR triggers as realistic - but we're clearly playing make believe :D

When she looks at the camera and smiles, it's like your mom smiling at you when you were a kid. So warm and compassionate. I know she's just looking at the camera but it feels like the smile goes into your heart and warms it.

The advice from gentle whispers about eye contact to the deeper parts of the lense is spot on. I can see such a difference on how I am being looked at.

I think it would be really relaxing for Gibi to do a “Parent Teacher Conference” ASMR, with positive affirmations and lots of “distractions” on her desk that she fiddles with. (Pencils in a Pencil Holder) or (A small glass tray of paper clips) 😊
I love this idea. I think it’d be interesting to have the camera at a bit of a lower angle to mimic being a kid at the conference and having Gibi look and speak to a parent off to one side of the camera, occasionally acknowledging or speaking to the kid kindly as they fiddle with things on her desk

I just got to the end of this and I have to say Gibi, it truly was the Perfect ASMR Video to watch, very well done, you made all the different advices work together so well, I enjoyed all these triggers a lot 😌. The Eyeglasses part was so good, the Face Rolling, Tapping, Touching, Brushing and Closing Your Eyes parts were probably my favorite, and I of course loved the McSleepy moments 😆, thank you ASMattR. I'm also happy this ended up being more than an hour long, especially knowing that it's cause you had a lot of fun making it, with the Behind the Scenes video and all, hopefully you'll do this ASMRtists friends' advices thing again in the future 😊.

I go on walks daily, and I always feel my baseline anxiety throughout it. I have a smartwatch that gathers heart rate data and gives me a cardio health estimate. It’s always low. Today I put this video in my headphones, and my cardio health reading jumped in a way I’ve never seen. This video made me realize the emotional weight I carry when I go out. I will definitely be listening to more of your videos when I go out, Gibi!

Dearest Gibi, I have been much happier since watching your videos. I was feeling depressed for about 4 months around last winter. It progressively got worse as the winter season went by. I didn't even want to be around my family. But I started watching you, and it changed. I was able to smile and go to sleep. I wouldn't overthink as much, and actually got some much needed sleep.
