What i love about Sauvage Elixir as well, is the fact it costs some money, so you wont be having everyone, their grandma and their dog using it like with the other sauvages
Yeah im sure it’s not a clone. I’ve seen where they buy from and it disappoints me to hear that they actually spent the retail price. Still, you’re probably right. More people are likely to buy Nautica garbage cuz Jeremy fragrance keeps telling them to.
I just got a 100ml bottle of elixir which is crazy since i had asad which is the most popular clone. Let me tell you that if you put them side by side the clone desaparece. Also elixer has kind of a pine tree with woods in it which makes it unique. Asad has nothing on the original elixir but it does smell close but without the spell touch that makes elixir.
I’m telling you, THIS is my biggest compliment puller. And you only did 2 full sprays total!. It’ll literally last forever. One of THE BEST fragrance value wise.
Hi, I bought my bottle a week ago. Batch code is 2M05 2022/12. Now it's about 15-18C outside. I have a feeling that the perfume projects very poorly, but i applied 3 sprays. What do you think is wrong? Thanks for the answer!
A few people have been saying that actually, but I’m not sure. Apparently Dior said “no reformulations have happened”, so I don’t know if it’s that. There’s a small chance you could be going “nose-blind” to the scent. That’s something that can occur when a fragrance is too strong. My batch is from the same year as yours so I don’t know.
Great review. This is my next scent when I go out to purchase a fragrance soon. I have tested it and it sure is a strong performer. Granted I am biased as I am a Dior fan boy.
I tried a sample in store and the paper strip lasted 3 days in my room. Does ur batch last long too? @@SpritsnSniffs sorry yeah y edp was an example of newer batches being bad. So yeah about the elixir, is yours as good as the one from when it came out?
@@DimzReacts sadly no I am not in Australia!. But my batch of elixir is a early 2022 batch and it lasts very long!. Usually reformulations happen after about 4-5 years of the fragrance being out. So you’re in luck, you shouldn’t have to deal with any reforms that destroy the performance.

I’m telling you man 😂. Had a few people say “temperature changes nothing and it’s all equal strength regardless of season”. I just laughed man, no point in arguing with that.
While the Sauvage EDT, EDP and Parfum smell great, the Exlixir smells better. Because of how different it is. It still has the original formula, but it’s more deeper, darker, richer/sweeter. That’s what makes it stand out on its own. It’s different from the rest in that line. And the good news is, since it’s so expensive, not a lot of guys will be wearing it, so you won’t smell like some girls ex boyfriend like you would with the regular Sauvage or any other fragrance that are super common that most guys have worn. When it comes to fragrances, you wanna stand out. You wanna smell unique and not like the other guys.
@@SpritsnSniffs Exactly my guy. Cheap Fragrances are a big no no in my book. I don’t care how good they smell, if they’re worn by a lot of guys and a lot of girls are familiar with it, I’m not wearing it. Especially if a girl tells me my fragrance is ex boyfriend material.
