I haven’t played this game in a while. I remember really liking the bosses, Sunnycide was always my favorite. I was never able to get past the final boss though. As much as I liked this game, Bowser’s Inside Story will always be my favorite in the series.

As you can see in Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story remake, they've changed the normal battle theme ( Okey Dokey!! ), for the Boss Battle one ( Tough Guy Alert ). Perhaps because they didn't want you to have a first battle with a Boss, as it always being very weak, just to show the game's battle mechanics. Or they just wanted it to be more friendly and receptive, we all know that a Boss Battle is actually hard, so we get a bit nervous. Anyway, it is considered a Boss Battle, as all the other games: Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga ( Bowser ), Mario & Luigi Partner's in Time ( Baby Bowser ), Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story ( Bowser, again... ) and Mario & Luigi Dream Team ( Antasmas's cloudy or smog-ish form ).
