    Thank you.

      @@hannahamesimeku146 I record bit by bit. It takes up less storage in the end and shortens the editing process.

    Is mic necessary for cooking videos?

      Only if you talk in your videos or do voiceovers.

    Thank you for the video..i didn't know we could shoot directly from the ringlight..so is it a must to have both rhe ringlight and a tripodM

    • @afromomspices
      @afromomspices  3 месяца назад

      It is not a must. The ring light also serves as a tripod. An extra tripod is only needed if you want to be more productive or shoot in different angles . That way you’re not adjusting your ring light too often when using it as a tripod. (The height is adjustable on the ring light).
      In my case, I already had a small tripod for pictures before starting my RUclips channel. So I didn’t specifically purchase one for RUclips.
      So for a beginner on a budget, I suggest getting a ring light instead. Just make sure it is extendable. Because some aren’t.

    Hi Fatou, nice vid. Some questions though. Do you use a clip from your "horizontal" footage for the shorts or re-shoot it vertically? And are the other platforms shot horizontally or vertically? This is all new to me. Thanks and the chicken looks great. Oh, and what program do you edit with? thanks

    • @afromomspices
      @afromomspices  Месяц назад +1

      @@suecook8379 Hi. Thank you for your feedback. In my case I always shoot horizontally because RUclips is my primary platform.
      For shorts, I simply cut clips from the original videos and change the ratio to fit the shorts format.
      As for editing, I personally use the InShot app. You can easily convert a horizontal video into a vertical one for Shorts, Reels or TikToks in the app. And it’s easy to use for beginners.
      I hope that helps.

    Why do you use HD?

    • @afromomspices
      @afromomspices  2 месяца назад

      Because it takes less space in my phone. The 4k is heavy, thus requires more storage.
