Just wanted to add a quick note: I didn’t mean to say all customers use candles improperly - a small amount do, which I why I test what would happen if wicks are left untrimmed. Watching it back I didn’t like how that came across 😅
Goodness, I never realised candle making was so technical, thank you for sharing this insight and great tips. Would love to make my own candles at some point, will buy a kit first though.
Fantastic video Jerika!! I think anyone who wishes to make candles needs to watch this. It isn't as simple as throwing wax in a jar with a wick. Candle making is an art that takes time, study and consideration. I've need video's online where landlords have done walk throughs and the walls are covered with soot and the tenant's claim it's from burning candles. It floor's me every time! Even people who aren't considering making candles, this gives them a guide of what to look for in a fantastic candle!
I'm just beginning in the testing faze of candles so this video was great! Thanks Jerika for your awesome knowledge 😁
Thank Jerika for always sharing your experiences. I'm just starting my candle making journey. This really helpful and encouraging. Love and Blessings 😊💞🇨🇦🇹🇹🇯🇲
I prey you do more test candles before selling candles.
Your editing is on fire in this one! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much Jerika! I'm your forever student!
The colour is lovely as the candle is burning, and I have to say, I think I like the darker Pink. My money's on it goes past 30 hours, but we'll see. And your video's are always good, full of helpful information, and really good ideas. I love watching. 🥰🇬🇧
Hi, this is Queensther, you said, who helped you with your candle math. thanks for your videos
Loved the interesting process…..
I like the size of the flame 🔥
🤣 you actually said my name right the first time
Thank you for a bit more information on soy and paraffin wax.
I love the video! I'm curious about the glasses, where did you get them?
Thank you for your video. I love candles. What size is the wick you use?
Great video, Jerika. I just found you. I like that you own up the wick not being centered perfectly! What type of candle dye are you using and what wax? The color is beautiful.
How do you know what size wick to use?
2 mins in the video here, I already have a question. I am also testing some candles. I light the tester 1 week into curing and it doesn’t have a good hot throw. If I leave this candle alone, do you think it will still cure? I want to wait another week now to see if it will be better but do I make a new tester and start fresh? Or just use the same candle partially burned. Partially, meaning 2 hours burned. I was told that my wax really needs to cure. I use BW 917. Best regards =) Kate
Where do you get your jars from ?
