LMAO. It was Kevin and...........Matt. Oh, and I HIGHLY recommend you react to one of the Citizen Queen vids. They are an all girl acapella group created by Scott. They have 3 soloists plus a bass and beatboxer, just like PTX. Also, check out Superfruit (Scott & Mitch) cover of Katy Perry 'Rise' with Brian Justin Crum, Mario Jose, and Mary Lambert.
Please react to PTX on the Sing-Off Season 3 (spoiler alert they win) here is a playlist I created containing every performance. ruclips.net/p/PLyK2Rjmf4VZNz3JyVftn7aKd589qevhS8
LOVED it! Again. You're killin it Bayo! Peace and Love! ...Yup, better than the original. My humble opinion. Bet you went back and watched this video a second time, didn't ya. ;)
The other guy is Matt, he’s the bass. He sings the low notes to emphasize the beats that Kevin does. In old videos you’ll see the old bass guy, Avi. Both Matt and Avi are excellent basses!
Bayo, a super recommendation you...it's not really a Xmas song, but it has the seasonal feeling to it --- "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from Lion King movie...it's spectacular !!
The first time “My Favorite Things” became associated with Christmas was in 1961, when Julie Andrews performed the song on a Garry Moore TV holiday special - long before she starred in the movie version of The Sound of Music, which was filmed in 1964 and released in April 1965.
This is my favourite song of the new album! The other guy ist Matt, he is doing the bass. The beatbox and bass together is the whole foundation of the song - also refered to 'meat & potatoes' and the trio (Mitch, Scott and Kirstin) are on top of that with their voices. And then their acting - just the cherry on top. You just GOT to love them.
Goth vamps meet the Sound of Music Vonn Traps ! Clever and fun, so great ! They rock the song with their gorgeous voices ! Merry Christmas ! Also watch MAKING CHRISTMAS, from the Tim Burton movie, Nightmare Before Christmas. You'll like it.

Bayo...great reaction as usual. I want to follow up on a couple of points you've made... First, you mentioned that you think Kevin is the best beatboxer in the world, I take umbrance to that statement as it understates his talents (lol). Kevin was trained in classical cello and appeared in Carnegie Hall at 18; he also plays the saxophone and 3-4 other instruments; he's a graduate of Yale and was accepted to their medical school, but declined to join Pentatonix; he speaks a couple of languages, including Mandarin; and, while he has a nice voice, Scott and Avi helped him to improve his singing and is now a contributing member; and he has his own RUclips channel where he composes his own tracks....NOW, YOU MUST, MUST (PLEASE) CHECK OUT HIS SOLO OF "DOWN"...it will blow you away ! Secondly, Pentatonix arranges ALL of their songs with the help of Ben Bram, who is consider the 6th member. Their arrangements are a complete collaboration of all the members, but I believe that Scott and Ben have the final say...and generally, the arrangement starts with Kevin to see how he fits in to that arrangement !! Don't forget my previous recommendation of "Can You Feel the Love tonight (Lion King).
Hi Bayo, another great reaction, thank you (although I think you may not have meant to say 'these guys never fail to disappoint me'....... we'll let you off as you got up especially early, just for us . Keep em coming and stay safe :)
The things falling from the sky startled me at first. I thought I had imagined it!! Wonderful reaction, I love it when your jaw just drops to the floor! PTX said they were trying to make it spooky. The fact that both Kevin and Matt had on eye makeup (1st time for them!), I'd say they succeeded!
If I may, you seem to mix things a bit regarding to the rythm section: Kevin is the beatboxer, and him alone. But he works side by side with the bass (Avi from 2011 to 2017, then Matt until today, and Scott when the regular bass takes the lead.) Listen carefully, they are so good at blending that I understand why you could think it's done all at once!
A video I think you would love that is not reacted to that often is Drop the mic with pentatonix. It's really funny and you get to hear all of them rapping. Great reaction!
there's another group you might like also. the group is VoicePlay and they're also an acapella group and they do a great cover of "Oogie Boogie's Song" from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas. keep the reactions coming
Matt is the bass Scott does some beat boxing on the Superfruit channel. He and Mitch are awesome with their harmonies there. Check out there Beyonce mashup ,insane!!
Already subscribed, but agree they are awesome! This is such a great arrangement! Love the steampunk, Mad Hatter/Alice in Wonderland vibe to this. Definitely need more of this!!
I like watching your reactions it's so real and like I am a huge fan of theirs but I also listen to Stan Walker he is a great singer one that deserves to be acknowledged for his epic talent just saying and of all the reactions in RUclips your the first one I've e every commented on and yes I f follow your post, your doing great.
I really like your reactions to Pentatonix. I would like to see your reaction to the Todrick Hall production of "The Wizard of Ahhs featuring Pentatonix". I think you will be amazed.
Great reaction! Due to the look of the video, not sure if this is a list of their favorite things, or a list of the ingredients they need for their favorite spell!
Hey, you should react to VoicePlay and Home Free. Both of them are Acapella groups and are different to Pentatonix. If you love Bass voices, you'll love both groups. If you love beatboxing, both have you covered. Basically, everything you like about Pentatonix, VoicePlay and Home Free can provide in slightly different ways. Please react to them, any of their songs are great but some recommendations are below. VoicePlay: You're a Mean one, Mr. Grinch Moana Medley Boy Bands in 5 Minutes Can't Help Falling in Love Home Free: Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks Man of Constant Sorrow Die a Happy Man What we aint got
When you watch this again, watch for the flying clothes and other items dropping down on them. Definitely makes it feel like Alice in Wonderland. Their videos are always very clever.
Hey @Bayo, i know u are rewlly into Pentatonix, but when u want something else spectacular, than u should visit Now United. They are very yood, trust me ;)
This is actually one of the VERY few songs of theirs that I am just not into. FYI you said "They never fail to disappoint me" hehehe.. I think you meant either "They never disappoint me" or "They never fail to impress me." hehehe
Hello mate great reactions ...appreciated , A little different but may I suggest OneFour (the groups name) , The Message (the songs name) , Please and Thanks , They are Aussie Drillers/Rappers from Western Sydney , bars for days mate ,You won't be disappointed ,no one has been so far
I often think PTX covers are better than the originals and this one is certainly well done. But better than Julie Andrews? I don't think I would ever say that. ;1
I so wish they were still making Superfruit videos. I miss the two of them sharing their friendship with us. But people grow up, get new relationships, and naturally grow apart. Still hurts my heart a little though.
MY CAMERA WAS MESSING ABOUT :( I'll get that fixed for next time guys! Please SUBSCRIBE if you want to see more! love yall!
Still like the camera look here
See the numbers rising? Like a thousand more than yesterday!

Wouldn't it be wonderful to see a Broadway musical written for Pentatonix?
Broadway musical written BY Pentatonix sounds better! 🤣😂
@@lauriep2018 yessssssss 💯
Yes! A great idea.

@@lauriep2018 i would give anything to see a musical where they arrange all the songs it would be so sick
You would really love "the wizard of ahhs", trust me! :)
Incredible mash up. Tells the story in songs.

Matt - the “new” bass. The name you couldn’t remember.
Well not exactly new XD
@@kurniawanbudi3464 hence the quotation marks. After 3 years, he isn’t new! 🤩
@@mariethemagnificent2000 ye
They were going for a steampunk Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Awesome reaction.
I got a vampire ballet theme.💕🐝
@@amazinggrace5692 , I can totally see that!
I just love how they juxtapose a macabre background with this unabashedly upbeat song. What a concept! A-one performance and great react.
The other guy is Matt, he’s the bass. He sings the low notes to emphasize the beats that Kevin does. In old videos you’ll see the old bass guy, Avi. Both Matt and Avi are excellent basses!

EVERYTHING they do is better than an original. I don’t know how they do it but I hope they never stop! Thank you for the share! ♥️
Should do "Making Christmas" similar darker vibe for Christmas!
They never fail to dissapoint you. i liked it
Kevin is THE BEATBOXER among other things. Matt is THE BASS and does not beatbox...
Ok scott can beatbox,he takes the bass when matt sings.
Your facial expressions and loss of words are precious
Have you reacted to Making Christmas? It is also great 😁😁
So, you already know Mitch, Scott and Kevin. The woman is Kirstie. The bass in this video is Matt and in the older video's it's Avi.

Damn right it's better than the original. You are so right.
Matt is the bass Scott does some beat boxing on the Superfruit channel. He and Mitch are awesome with their harmonies there. Check out there Beyonce mashup ,insane!!
I love this! I can't help but snicker when they have their favorite things, like a teddy bear..and there is Scott with a skull!😂
For most songs Kevin does the beatboxing, Matt does the larger portion of bass, but Scott takes over bass when Matt sings.
Kevin and Matt held that down!!!

Can you please please please reaction to anthem light sing lion king song
When does Pentatonix do something that isn't better than the original?
i love PTX, but this is not my favorite video. I think she is WAY too made up, and it is quite over-acted.
The overacting was kind of the point...
