Checking a hypergeometric calculator. Lets say you went up to 23 land effects (trolls, MDFCs and lands), if your starting hand of 7, there is only a 24.6% to exceed 3 land effects yet to always have at least 2 land effects in 10 cards is 95.7% (compared to 89.6% when k=19, looking at top 10). Maybe I'm missing but having a plan B of reanimating troll (cause you used it to get you a land) both moves your game ahead and helps deathshadow when that 1 drop is drawn. Being limited to 19 land sources might be hurting your ability to blitz out the good stuff (I get your reanimate targets are unusual and likely deathshadow will be exiled before its destroyed). Just some thoughts about adding 3 trolls and 1 land (having to cut 4 other spells)
You can’t pull me back in with a deaths shadow deck again 😂😂😂 Seriously I play a lot of 17-18 land decks in bo3 but always in blue based delver style decks with cruise and brainstorms. Etc. you have to have that card draw and selection to make it work.
When you were 17 deep, and needing your second land (aka 18 hits in 43 cards), the next top deck is only a 41.8% chance of being a land (including the troll and MDFC)..... I've seen the percentage much higher and said player has whiffed. So you were very lucky here to make your second land drop. WotC: 'BE FUCKING GRATEFUL!'
Hope you don't get mana screwed like I did 😂
I am amazed you did not board disruptor flute against breach deck. Card singlehandedly shuts down whole strategy by naming dark ritual.
that is a good point 👍
These phoenix/death's shadow/hollow one decks calls for street wraith in arena so much, holy shit.
The age of the Mockingbird is over, the time of the Phoenix has come. Stories of an ornithologist mtg player.
😂
just wait till you see Mbird with awestruck cygnet, insane clock
There is no hand smoothing algorythm in Bo3.
The overall land count is just too low and that's why you end up with those hands all the time.
@@tmGrunty it's a joke, but I'll still keep my tin foil hat on 😌

Thanks for playing bo3, you have earned my sub!
That screw was insane

Cool deck but all in on grave is risky
nice
Bestow was one of the coolest mechanics that wotc sort of ignored
How did that one-land keep work?!
@5:31, sometimes I think WotC employees join games like this as sadists…
