I've been doing it for years with my wrapped and ceramic coated cars, first time trying on a clear coat. After seeing what a rinse bucket goes through i know 1000 PSI will clean it just as good.
This was really great---one big takeaway is you can simply clean the wash mit with the hose. Why don't the two bucket folks do this? Is it because they might not have access to a water hose? I also noticed you didn't use a towel / microfibre to dry?
Some people don't like possibly getting sprayed or picking it up especially in colder weather. I go back and forth because it does take longer vs the buckets to wash, but clean up and setup is faster. I only use a leaf blower to dry I don't touch the car to dry. I use easy coat as my drying aid as it sprays on when the car is wet and you rinse off giving good beading to blow off easy.
You have to use a safe pressure and use wide fan nozzles such as a 40 degree so the water is not concentrated in a small area. This would be for a car with good seals. If they are dry rotted or worn out you could have some get through. Automatic car washes and touchless ones use more pressure than most electric pressure washers can creat so they are safe.
It can if you don’t mind constantly rinsing it off. Just have to make sure you keep good foam on the car. You could do a one bucket as well just for soapy water.
Absolutely I do currently in my garage setup as the foam cannon likes to make a mess. Just a different dilution is needed. 32:1 normally is a good number for soaps in an IK.
@@CarsWithKeav Just found DIY Detail and ordered several of their products. I had been out of the game for a while (5 years) due to back injury. Just getting back into it and there are so many new products on the market. Will try Quick Beads this week.
@@tomevans5458 Awesome! If you order again CARSWITHKEAV will save 10% if you were in the game 5 years ago you probably heard of ONR or Optimum No rinse. Yvan who was part of that is now co-founder of DIY Detail.
I show how to make them in this video ruclips.net/video/eDT9pYzGJas/видео.html Since that video though Mckillans has come out with a very similar design and its only $25 Here is the video on my review ruclips.net/video/qOVmOSMHyig/видео.html and the link on Amazon amzn.to/3MHNR1d
It is a 40 degree tip, but this is my own design of nozzle guards using MTM and Amazon accessories. I made a video showing how to make them for much cheaper and better IMO than OG. ruclips.net/video/eDT9pYzGJas/видео.html
Car is dirty to me after the next drive. I just clean mine long before you would. Not a waste of time for me as i like to do this and I have lived long enough and put in hard work so spending the money doesn't bother me. Best Video so far! Love the Bloopers 👏
Thank You!
Those bloopers cheered me right up, thanks from London.
Appreciate that. Think I will do a blooper compilation video soon.
Great tips for a no bucket wash method! Much needed wash for the daily! And that sunset was the cherry on top ✊🏽
been thinking of adding this method to my winter budget detail customers

Thanks for this , I've been doing a 1 bucket wash too.
Had no idea it was a thing till.i looked it up
As long as you are doing all you can to get the dirt off the mitt. I feel never putting it back into dirty water is a good idea.
@@CarsWithKeav
After a really good prewash, sometime a double pre wash can hardly see anything on mit .
Love those Bloopers!
You have no idea how much I leave out. LOL I think end of the year a bloopers compilation is in order.
EZ-Detail brush is solid for an all around cleaning for the barrels. Another solid video
Its a great product and some complain it bends to easily and will break. Being bending mine like crazy for years.
Learning all the details of Hanna haha. Great video man. Detailing and filming the process is harder than it looks
It sure is. LOL
here 2 years later and greatly appreciate the information
You’re welcome
I was gonna say, I’m surprised you had no interruptions…then your neighbors dog started 😂😂😂! Good video man 🙌🏽
There is always something.

Bucketless wash is faster. Glad to see others do that.
It’s a great method. I mix one bucket and no bucket depending on my mood.
Hi Keav, your video was great but I am here for the BLOOPERS.
I enjoy them when editing. Not too much when recording the video. LOL
Ive never used a pressure washer to clean a car. Looks cool , but how does it not penetrate thru the window seals ?

@@CarsWithKeav Makes since, thanks for your reply!
Those vehicles are beautiful
Thank You!
So basically if you have a pressure washer to wash down the dirt from the mitt the two bucket method becomes obsolete, right?

Can we use a hand pump foam (for example ik foam pro 2) instead of the foam cannon for the pre wash and for the shampoo? Keep up the good work mate 😁

It's been almost two years since the release of this video. Do you still use the EZ Coat? First time seeing this product.
Yes, I use it still and Quick Beads from DIY Detail which I like better. I still have a big supply of Easy Coat to use up.

I'm from Brazil, how do you live there? I'm 14 years old, I plan to go to the sea when I'm 18
Are we ever going to see Will?
I’m not sure what you mean.
Sorry, I meant to post that on someone else’s video 🙂
Is that 25degree tip ? i thought OG only got a 40degree tip.

Top down approach is think is most effecient. Hence i would do wheels last because soap scum will hit it
Main reason I do wheels first is usually the chemicals used on them is stronger and any splatter gets rinsed off during the paint wash process.
Man you got a great color on your X1. My girls X1 is silver but I like yours better 😅
I love Mineral Gray!
the dog agreed lol, subbed and thumbed
He was being extra that day. LOL
Totally safe ?
Well nothing is 100% not even a 5 bucket method. LOL
Such a waste of time and money washing clean car once or twice a week i wash my once a month
