It is interesting to me that the Beginner sessions require more from me than the intermediate or advanced. Meaning my mind wanders more. I lost track several times of what I was supposed to listen to. I might have to work these in reverse order. 😆 Thank you for creating these. Great work!
Thank you so much for uploading all these trainings! It’s super helpful and such a beautiful gesture of you to share them with the world! Great practice, thanks again!
That's still good opportunity for good practice. Whenever that happens, it's just a case of detaching from the other sounds, rather than just focusing on a single sound.
The writing sound is eventually noticeable in the right earphone, but it's very hard to distinguish from the heavy rain drops on the tin roof. I heard it better in the last two minutes because when he specifies a sound in the rapid section, that sound doesn't always take place until he mentions another sound and so I had to concentrate on just the three main sounds and missed the 'writing' one. I later listened to this same one without headphones and could just barely notice the scribbling noise, because I knew what to listen out for. It was a good helpful experience that improved my concentration and reduced my stress. Consequently, it even improved my hearing. It helps you to discern and isolate sounds. I did the Begginer1 before, and before that I did a seashore Beginner one (10 mins). I did the 5-minute intro one too, at the start. Then I did two intermediate ones and the first Advanced one - all 12 minutes. There are more and more sounds in each level. But this one was challenging because of the hard to hear writing sound. More sounds don't make it so much harder for me. Note - some might hear the writing/scribbling sound in the left ear, depending on which way they put their headphones on.
The videos are extremely helpful. I feel like switching my brain from anxiety mode to normal and awareness mode for some time. Its really very helpful though its effect lasts for some time. Like audio exercises, can you please make something for visual attention training? like some images on which we can train our attention?
Interesting, very good with some actual practice rather than half and hour of bullsh*t talk as in many other videos. It feels like I really need this. One very minor critique about the sounds though. The dog barks are much less frequent than the other noices. In the rapid switching focus training, the entire period listening to dogs often contains no barks to focus on.
Sometimes you can't hear a sound or it isn't there at all. Try to focus on it anyway. As if I asked you to count the number of times you hear the sound of dogs. No other sounds would matter, right? Just the sound of dogs or the silence between them.
I was a bit dubious when I read the description as I couldn't imagine hearing handwriting. And unfortunately I was correct. I can't hear the writing at all.
I would never have known that anybody's writing. I can't hear this over the other sounds. I like the idea of attention training and I use it in my work, but with these videos there are aspects I find impossible to hear. This makes the experience more frustrating than anything else for me.
I agree. In the first video, I can't really hear the cow bell, and in this one, I can't really hear the writing. They're still okay videos if you skip those though.
Hello hello, I’m feeling more stressed after intensely trying to focus while having brain fog, just like when i try to listen to someone in a crowded place and it’s taking a lot of my energy. Should i do something before / after to prevent that?
Hi, wanted to thank you for these videos. Such helpful tools for me and my community. I have sent you an email but it was returned. Any suggestions? Many thanks to you.
that damn dog stops barking every time i'm listening
These videos really helps me. Only 12 minutes can change my mood, and brainfog is away! Big thank you!

That amazing! Thank you, I really need it (have failed 3 driving test because of lack of attantion)

For rapid attention switching, the dog stops barking every time I need to listen for it 😭
😅😅😅

Thank you for your work, I am taking the GRE Exam soon, this is really helpful for train myself in enduring the 4 hour long test.
How did the test go?
Many thanks! You make my soul sublime

This is really helpful but the bloody dog didn't bark on time and I kept losing track lol probably my mind wondering
Thank you for your effort👍
Can this type of training increase the ability to focus on tasks like learning something and probleme solving ???
I’m writing in the driver seat listening to the rain fall on my car while the birds and dogs yap at me soons the rain stop I’m going in…
I was a bit dubious when I read the description as I couldn't imagine hearing handwriting. And unfortunately I was correct. I can't hear the writing at all.
I recommend using headphones. Scribbling a pencil on paper. Located to the right. Hope it helps :)
i love ATT Videoa, thank you so much
why can't I hear the sound of writing? how does it sound like?
Now I can hear the handwriting. It is the scratching of pen/pencil on paper with rapid cursive writing. Lower right location. Very soft.
I thought rain was a bit tougher to hear
@@demetrioshilton5328 it's like stones landing on a tin roof.

Try headphones
@@numediaworks Thanks, I already have.

Please tell me the location of the sounds
thanks for uploading this videos
Sounds like someone should be upgrading to the advanced attention training
How long should I listen to this before going to the next vidoe?
Are the beginner modules supposed to be interchangeable, difficulty wise?
Yes

I would suggest to read up on CAPD (central auditory processing disorders)

Thanks! Glad to hear that you find them helpful! I have updated the email. Lets see if it helps! :)
Thank you

could you write here the name of the sounds?
The sounds are listed in the video description.
Did he say handwriting? I can't hear anything ike that. Can anyone explain, maybe I missheard?
You should hear the sound of scribbling a pencil on paper
@@piripiro Thank you. Know, that you've said it, I can hear it over the rain hitting on the metal roof.
@@piripiro I can hear it now but still barely. Thanks.
awesome
How are These Videos made?
The sound of handwriting is barely noticeable and it’s very easy to mix it with rain :(
