Nice. It’s my first electric hpi car. I only had the trucks and Baja. It look sick bro. You have a fast 1/10 hpi for sure. They definitely hold up to the power I see. I can’t wait to get a quick run on this car.

What the...?? Currently, that thing costs 329 euros in my country and has an old brushed motor, a very simple ESC, a NiMh battery ( in 2022! ), no gyro and a surprisingly weak charger! Those HPI guys are following in the footsteps of Traxxas, pay more, get less or what? The body with real sponsors and the Falken replica wheels are great, but please, HPI, come on... You can get a Sakura or a Yokomo for that price.
The Sakura and yokomo can't handle 3s brushless because the gears aren't suited but the HPI one could handle it easily without chassis upgrades and the HPI can even be used offroad where the Sakura and yokomo can't at all. Besides this used to be 269.99 usd but with covid , everything costs extra

Which battery connector fits in it?
It came with Tamiya but I put XT90 and I am running a 2s lipo
How do you switch from NiMH to Lipo?
If you look in the esc you will see a pin. You can switch it from nimble to lipo.
