I like the HPI cars, BUT you can try to adjust the settings to make it go straight all day long without success, it is fixable oh yes..but you would believe after all these years they could have upgraded it lil bit because it do not take so much to have it fixed.
So glad to see you put this video out... There was some serious bashing of HPI & this car on another channel. (I saw you in the comments over there) I don't regret buying this car one bit. It's going to be a shelf queen for me. Lol... I have another RS4 to bash. Salute!
@Tracy Lee Wait until you see the next video. This car has so much potential. I think 3S is going to be a handful in the stock form. Once I put a stability management system in it change how this performed. So improved. I think Mark got a Friday built car. There was no question some QC issues on his.
this car is crazy, takes a lot of setup to get to full speed... I used foam tires. lock the axles and get some drift tires.. screw the diff hex screw all the way in on both differentials and drift it
@jdmtyteeeyo Yeah it's a hard one to manage if you don't use some sort of stability management. HPI also sells a spool for the front a rear to get the same effect.
@@ReadySetRC I have the locked spools and also running a gyro so I can drift and track it . having a hard time setting up0 the gyro but I got some foam tires now and its staying pretty straight, so many things you have to dial in to get a car running good,
Oh that poor body! 😢 It looked pretty hard to control, not sure if all of it is the spot because I have seen a few videos where people are having trouble right out the box. Make me appreciate the Fazer even more!
@Great Lakes RC I was editing a Fazer video and that came to mind too😊 I ended up throwing in a stability system in it and it completely changed this car. But it was on 2S and a smoother location. I would not recommend 3S unless you do some serious modifications.
@Paul Sperla This is Overlook parking lot. It was a lot better when I started doing runs a while back but now it's getting too rough to run the on-roads.
@Bob Hartwell It's got some potential. Did you see the end of the video? I threw in a sneak peak when I put in a stability management radio system. It was night a day. Yeah the QC I saw in other vids is disheartening.
@@ReadySetRC Hi! i have the RS4 Flux Ford.This car is impossible to drive on 3s if you dont use a gyro! :) i have updated mine with the yeah racing kit, and it helps a bit.i have a problem with the steering locks up.Just a tiny little stone can lock the steering,,and it happens often.It's a known problem with the RS4.Full throttle on the flux model on 3s is fast,even without HPI's speed gears.But the car is hard to hold in a stright direction, even with gyro help.On 2s it not a problem.But on 3s, this thing is challenging :)
@@lurifax7382 So true! I ran it on 2s with a stability management system in it. Improved the performance a bit. 3s for this car may be a bit much. It will need more tuning. Mostly I think it will need the diffs tuned and the spool removed and replaced with a diff. It may not be impossible but I agree it will be a challenge, maybe more than most are willing to do. But I will say 2s is plenty.
@@lurifax7382 I'm going with the Yeah racing kit in mine as well. It's going to be mostly a shelf queen for me tho. The flux system is no joke on 3s...
@theheatfrom thestreet Location was bad too but I agree $409 it should be ready to rock. I threw a stability system in it and completely changed the performance but that was 2S. I think 3S maybe too much for this car.
Yeah would definitely need some setup work to make it good for speed runs and handling… Good first run fam 💪🏾💯
@CoachD RC So true Coach. Not one of those pull out of the box and throw in a 3S to get to 60mph. Needs some tweaks for sure.
i read on a forum that some people use thicker grease in the diffs.I will try that myself.Maybe it helps with the handling in high speed!

Oh yeah great run bro… this my next rc car…… great video too can’t wait to see the next video 👍🏾💪🏾💯
@Linden Rc 215 Thanks man! She has some potential.

cool dude! ordered that audi! can't wait to drift with it!🔥🔥
@Yuvi Rc This would be a great platform for drifting.
Cool car and awesome run brother
@Island RC -Duke Thanks Duke!

Where on the Long Island do you run? Looks like a Beach parking lot.

Yes saw the sneaky clip at the end. But i know you could make the box it came in faster than my cars" lol"
@Bob Hartwell 🤣😂
LOL you hit the one thing in the parking lot..
@Reefdevil Sticks and stones every time😆
How much was it and brushed ?
@MyRcGoSlow At the time I bought it, a little over $400 US. I believe the price came down just under $400 now. It's brushless.
@@ReadySetRC they were selling one for 100$
@@MyRcGoSlow What! Not my favorite platform from HPI but $100!
yea as soon as u told me 400 i went back to buy it and it was gone i was sad lol it was almost mines lol@@ReadySetRC
Nice looking,but not a good spped run car. I have seen other vids with many problems. Looks awesome though.

Keep them brushed they can’t really handle brushless
horrible run for the price I would expect more 😪 😕
