Extremely disappointed. Once I heard whispers of the series ending I knew we were cooked. I smelt this rushed, half-assed ending coming but never did I think it would be this anticlimactic. Being a ride or die JJK, fan I think it’s time to 💀😂. This chapter alone sucked the air out of the entire series.
I mean not really, the merger happening at all is the lose condition for everyone. Merger happening means that everyone in japan (including the protags) is dead.
Of all the things to be upset about, no one’s fucking talking about the fact that we have no idea wtf yujis domain was, how it worked or what its rules where. lol. It’s just fucking “friendship kiasin”
I don’t know why you’re mad Yuji’s domain had more of an explanation than even Suguru Geto’s domain. Kenjaku used Geto’s domain and put Koari’s yuji’s curse technique as the sure hit effect. Yuji’s we know it’s soul dismantle and because it was just learned, it had low output against Sukuna so it didn’t instant ko Sukuna when he let go of hollow wicker basket.
I am a fan of both. It is indeed funny cause JJK fans were harassing MHA fans only for JJK to get a bad ending. Still prefer MHA ending though, JJK ending is just waaaay to open-ended for me to consider it an ending.
This ending made me appreciate hiatuses, now i understand there is actually a level of respect from the author to their work and the fans in leaving a series on hold rather than rush it and crash it. It's now clear just how done Gege was with this series, it literally just stopped, this is a no-ending, things were happening here and there and then "The End".... Also, wishful thinking but i do wish the backlash was at least significant enough that Shonen Jump changes the way they pressure authors, way too many endings from flop to meh to mid, it's obvious something's at fault with that magazine and its editors.
You have got to be fucking kidding me. This series holds a special place in my heart but I’d be lying to myself if I said it that this wasn’t one of the worst endings I’ve ever seen. It’s so godamn clear that Gege just didn’t care about the series at all towards the end. Literally just an incomplete pile of dogshit that should’ve been thought over instead of being rushed out because author was tired of it.
I’ll say to defend gege just abit, because correct me if I’m wrong isn’t/wasn’t gege on a schedule with shonen jump? and if that’s the case then yes it’d make seen that this ending was rushed, considering the fact that gege was sick for a whole month(basically missing 4 possibly chapter) then yeah this ending was one everyone wanted(but I’ll say it was one that I was fine with all things considered).
I guess the real Jujutsu Kaisen was the Stand Proud, you are Nah I'd Win. This truly is our Jujutsu Kaisen all along! On a serious note while I had fun with JJK what stopped it from being as goated as Bleach was that it simply lacks the depth being a case of style over substance.
It does have the depth in the power system and thematics, but the follow through is questionable to me. Setting up a bunch of stuff before the ending and then not closing it... We're either getting the hell arc equivalent for JJK or we're just. Not getting anything.
Its incredibly obvious what has happened to JJK Gege was running out of steam, out of energy, out of inspiration, and also probably running out of time from publisher. If something isnt consistently pulling its same old consistent numbers then the second it falters at all, it gets crunched down on, it happens even with the most successful series. The art greatly began to suffer from the Gojo vs Sukuna fight onwards. The art literally downgraded exponentially to the point multiple chapters just looked like concept drawings. The shading, perspective, proportions etc all suffered GREAT downgrades. Everything was sped up, shortened, slapped together to get to the next chapter & its obvious Gege themselves were feeling the pressure from every angle both public & private. If anyone tells you this was an adequate past 12 months for the potential of JJK they are lying to themselves trying to hang onto their denial. The past year of this manga has been a consistent let down chapter by chapter decreasing its potential legacy & clearly this manga had many past hypothetical paths for the author to go down but for many reasons that was not practical for them. It didnt end terribly but the real tragedy is the Shinjuku Showdown itself. The second the author/editor decided to make that the finale of the series, JJK dropped from fantastic to 'good' EDIT: I have a weird feeling that could be totally wrong, but I felt the scenes with Charles what like 1 or 2 chapters ago sitting at his desk writing a one shot manga, that whole little segment TO ME felt weirdly out of place and like it was intentionally done that way to imply something to the audience, as if Gege was speaking through Charles & Charles' editor in that scene straight to the readership that "a one shot is coming" idk I could be wrong but yeah
Charles, Sukuna in Yuji's domain and 269 and 271 with Gojo is Gege talking to the fans directly about how he feels. And he has nothing good to say to us.
Nah, he hated JJK and wanted to end it. He even leaked it often. My guy wanted to write an Idol Manga instead. An idol manga with how he draws women. Lol, lmao.
your review is probably the best i seen so far, unlike these other mfs blinded by hate.. but yeah, I agree with pretty much everything you said, sucks that a lot of things were missing at the end. I want to say that thats how Gege has always been but at the same, it feels weird that he would miss all that. I can't help but think that he was just tired of everything and wanted to end it asap.. still, I truly enjoyed the story until the end. Interesting characters (the iconic Gojo Satoru), interesting/entertaining story scenarios (the attack on shibuya, the idea of the culing games happening all over Japan, Gojo vs Sukuna, everyone vs Sukuna), great fights that gave us some great shonen moments, awesome/shocking moments (Sukuna's Fuga in Shibuya, sukuna takes over Megumi, Maki's destruction of the zenin clan, Gojo's death, Itadori's 8 black flashes/DE, Yuta x Itadori team up, and much, much more), it had everything I like in my shonen, overall 8/10
Sukuna got a happy ending, he'll probably reincarnate and eventually meet uraume and yorozu(yorozu chose north because she knew sukuna will choose north) he'll probably become a professional archer and live with uraume and yorozu
MHA's ending was better than this. It at least tied up storylines. Here, we don't even know what happened to the culling games, the gojo clan, the big 3 families, more backstory on some of the most important characters in the series, etc.
By far not the best ending but also not “the worst manga ending ever” it’s was just the truest meaning of mid. The last few chapters I’ll give a 6/10 could’ve done better, loose ends, some characters where done dirty, plot points that where never expanded on, just a ton of wasted potential, but also not the worst thing in the world like some are making it out to be ,assuming they actually read and understood it. the series as a whole I’ll give a 7.9 good action, fun characters, cool powers, fun ride and it absolutely has it’s amazing moments, but the conclusion left much to be desired. It’s so funny to see that there are actual issues in the story but what I see so many people focused on are things that can be fixed by just having reading comprehension or not reading jjk through leaks or TikTok. Things like Gojo is a fraud, or Gojo should come back, Sukuna went out like a bum, the end is an infinite cycle because there’s a finger left, Sukuna is suddenly good at the, the merger should have happened, Hakari should oneshot Uraume, Megumi should have simply just taken his body back and he’s a bum, and much more. Lot of those things aren’t problems if you actually read and understand it. Or even how characters are like Gojo, yuji, Sukuna and kenjaku are well written sure more backstory on kenjaku would have been great but they are all well written characters once you look past the power scaling Brianrot and it blows my mind how much people misinterpret those characters. But for every good character there is there a few fumbles like Yaga or yuki still great but needed more time
Fun fights but horrendous character writing with like 1 or 2 exceptions. This series needed better character work and world building but Gege clearly wasn't interested in all that. Just fights and powers. And of course Sukuna lol.
271 chapters later and we never got the chance to find out, what happens when a person breaks a binding vow with another person. Yes breaking a binding vow with yourself, you just lose the advantage you gained from the previous binding vow, but what about with another person??? It was hinted something extremely bad would happened noted by Kenjaku and mahito’s conversation against mechamuaru… Death, illness, stripped of curse energy idk??
I thought the perfect moment to find out is when you yuta body swapped into gojo’s dead body and broke the binding vow with rika but idk if jjk 0 even counts.
Ppl really be having the most random worthless complaints someitmes. Like who cares what happens when someone breaks a binding vow he does with a person? Who the hell cares lol? You acitng liek its' a big plot point Gege set up when its' really jsut aan explanation as to why Mahito doesn't just kill Mechamaru before he transforms him or why Mechamaru didn't think to betray them by jsut snitching to Gojo.
@@mysteryman9488 It's called good writting. Any story with a power system should demostrate or aknowledge what the potential drawbacks or consequences of an ability is. An example of this would be the nen contracts from Hunter x Hunter...which is Ironic cause Gege's main inspirations is that series, but the man could not be bother to learn all of the aspects that made it good and instead a inferior bootleg version of it.
@@firestarsantos7467 Brother you realize they are the same thing like Nne contracts are self imposed rules set by a person on himself, binding vows for a trade off work the same way. Gege's already shwon plenty of characters use binding vows on themselves it's eplored, he's tlkaing about binding vows iwth other ppl specifically.
I'm definitely in the minority it I think the ending is fine. I just think peoples expectations were misplaced. People wanted so many things from the ending already knowing how Gege writes. The same thing happened with MHA, people completely missed the point because they expected Deku to keep his powers when that wasn't the point of the story.
And just like that jjk is completely ruined as a series. I’m so disappointed in gege. He couldn’t make a fleshed out ending. He couldn’t make the lasts chapters about important things. He couldn’t stop fangirling for sukuna. Jjk is done and it was a disgraceful ending.
Huh??? CSM anime was great though?? Looked beautiful. Great voice acting. Great choreography and animations. And banger soundtracks. Why are people shitting on the CSM anime when its easily one of the most beautiful stuff Mappa has done???
Chainsaw Man wouldn't exist without JJK I don't know why you find that suprising it's like ppl complaining Toei shows more love to Dragon Ball then it's other properties.
Apparently its animation and general visuals didn't stick to the manga style and were more life like and realistic that's not how people assumed its animation would be like they want it to be like mangas way. The upcoming movie is believed to be following a different style of animation and visuals that people may like now@@sammydray5919
this ending lacks a lot but I really like the closure sukuna got and how it parallels gojo's. 6/10 conclusion but i'd give the series a 8/10 overall definitely worth rereading
i hate this ending not only because there are so many unanswered questions but overall, the chapter just sucked the mission the trio went on was boring snooze fest that gege could aleast made entertaining by the fighting so curses with jujutsu. I hate that Yuji's talk no jutsu worked because i always felt that Sukuna was Joker or Frieza type villian that didn't need a redemption arc or a change of heart. Maybe im just jaded against talk no jutsu as a concept because of Naruto because everyone and their mother got a redemption arc in that series and i thought JJK would be different than that but guess i was wrong
@@TheJonkler1 he did have change of heart in his afterlife talk with Mahito though talking about how he wanted to go north and live a better way which is contradictory to what he told Yuji because Yuji offered him a second chance and he rejected it and doubled down on being evil but now in the afterlife he suddenly has a change of heart? thats some bs

People mad about unfulfilled expectations they've conjured up themselves. No qualms with how Gege chose to end it, not the best ending but if that's his choice for his work I respect that. Can't throw out the baby with the bath water
Well there's so much more he could've done so i think it's not unnatural that fans feel unsatisfied with a ending that left so many plots points unexplored
@@RahulMondal-jr9oy ofc he could've done more, but also understand that he can't satisfy everyone afterall it's his story. besides we got to count the blessings, the Shinjuku showdown fights had a lot of people deeply invested. @@Spino-hx2mr I think you're placing too much onto a writer that isn't tailoring a story for. I agree to an extent, but understand much of it stems subjectively
I’m pretty sure gege was ether rushed by his editors or other people to end the series or he got in his head about the ending. There definitely needs to be a sequel tho bc there are more things to be explored and I think making an anthology type series or multiple one shots would be very cool to see
people aren't understanding that not the whole volume is released yet, so there might be some extra pages and probably some stuff explaining stuff. but who knows i hardly know much about manga so i could be wrong, lets not complain because we all got to enjoy this amazing series and hell who knows we might get s spin off or something different from Gege im just glad i got to witness this series, and I don't think Gege hates his fans i think he just wants to do his story his way but thank you for reading this if you did, and please don't take anything i said offensively, have a good day/night be safe :p
anime community in 2024: likes new manga -> overwork mangaka -> mangaka finish story -> complain *serious note* these mangaka work hard and sometimes cant even tell the story they wish to tell due to an industry that forces them to write and work a certain way, hopefully this change because they deserve much better than people constantly comparing and talking down on their ideas....in someway you can say mangaka are all protagonist that still gets hate even when they achieve their goal.
I think that the limited chapters makes mangaka apathetic towards the end because they can't add everything they wanted to. They aren't able to structure the story in the way they want to because they don't have unlimited chapters to work with like DB and OP.
10:08 lol. People loosing their minds bc they did not get what they wanted. Marks my words. Gege placed Sukuna as the real MC (obviously) and my thoughts are that like Tabata for Black Clover, he’s planning smth with this December release 😅
Yeah, I agree. My main thing is the merger and the fact that the whole world knows about curse energy and they never flushed that out now. Yeah, according to GeGe the Culling Games is over, but from the words of Kenjaku, the game is really over until all the players are dead. Nobody really died as we were told either one character was suppose to be alive after the Shinjuku showdown or the main character was suppose to die. Yeah, GeGe really fumbled it
@@magus9180 true, it was honestly just flashy fights which I mean, does tie into the name of the series (sorcerer fight) but it felt like the fights had no substance and were just used for hype moments, which is evident in the lackluster ending
@@magus9180yeah, idk why he wouldn’t just commit to Kenjaku being the main protagonist. It was clearly meant to be that way…I’ll never get it. I’ll still love JJK but it did feel like it got off the rails a bit around the point where Sukana took Megumi’s body.
@@jordancave3089 You mean Main-Antagonist. ;) But yeah i think the same. JJK feels a bit rushed and maybe he just wanted to end JJK as fast as possible. So he dropped Kenjaku. I mean his death was very unspectacular. First i thought maybe he his planning something else afterwards, also while he mentiond Yuji before his death. But nothing happened. But it would have been crazy when kenjaku took over Gojo's body in the end so that Sukuna returned to Yuji after Sukunas defeat instead, so they could face him. Sukuna was overthinking his life in the end after all, so why not a bit earlier to give Yuji another power up to make him shine more as the real Main Character. But yeah, what's done is done.
i say gege's publishers should leave him the f alone and have him continue the story as horror with sukuna reincarnation as the protagonist, jjk was suppose to be horror after all how you expect the man to finish the story if he didnt want to write it like this
No gojo funeral, gojo talking about how he's had enough of himself, sukuna glazing, random ass mission and character no one asked for, no yuji domain expansion explanation. Yep.
@crazydissy3893 mc became a bum and was bitchless and abandoned by friends for 8 years. Not a single major characters died giving us no stake, no feeling Yeah such a fucking good payoff. Keep smoking whatever tf u are smoking
I think it's kind of fitting. Reality doesn't have a perfect narrative arc. JJK's ending feels like it tied up enough plot points to keep the forward momentum, but also deflated some as a way to signal the return to normality. I don't mind Gojo wanting to be forgotten, after all once Suguru died, his only friend died, he devoted himself to bringing about a positive future through his pupils. He became a conduit for change at the cost of his individuality (Geto: "Are you the strongest because your Gojo or are you Gojo because you're the strongest?") To some extent, the way that people live with grief and move on is to forget, to forget the visceral feelings associated with a loved one. I'm not saying that the ending is "good" or "bad", just that I liked it as JJK had a unique flavor that was more rooted in the actual human condition and not some idealized version of it.
@felipesantos-er4kk I'm not saying that it's objectively "good" writing or "bad" writing. Hell, sometimes stories end in a deflated manner in a way that makes it feel yuck and then after the fact the retroactive justification is put forth that, "OH, you just don't get it. It was meant to be underwhelming." If you feel that the wrap up of JJK was disappointing or lazy writing, I'm completely fine with that. I'm a big supporter of the death of the author/arist concept: the artists intent matters little if nothing relative to the experience of those partaking in their art. Personally, and again this isn't meant to be some literary thesis, i feel that JJK's universe lends itself well to a deflationary ending. The entire struggle of the main cast, and Gojo's dream, was the idea that the privilege of normality is what is truly of value. Gojo's only true friend in Geto and Gojo being reunited with his friends in the train station upon his death. Yuji's character arc driving him to the place where he could kill Mahito. Even more so in killing Mahito, he states that he is surrendering himself to the external purpose of the Jujustu world of killing curses. Through his fight with Sukuna and his enlightenment, he rediscovers his own human desires-he tells Megumi that if he chooses to die, then that's fine, but he'd be really lonely without him. Megumi's goal was to see Tsumiki happy and contented, ams just experience that. JJK sets up a world that is cruel, violent, and capricious. In a world such as this, what goal other than wanting others to be able to live contentedly without having to endure torturous struggle is more meaningful? Elevating everyone to where no one has to endure a substandard living is a noble goal in our world too. Just my personal thoughts.
So, show his grave. They did it for Megumi sister. Just a quick showing would be good. Instead we get this bs Sukuna essentially seemingly changing his character.
@@Theonefrombeyon ....brother Gojo had a whole afterlife chapter what xD? Tsumiki never got a moment of closure so Gege gave her a moment, Gojo already got an entire chapter dedicated to him dealign with the fact he's died do you want Gege to just show you his rotting corpse at this point xD? I thought the memes about Gojo fans coping still where jsut jokes lol
Sukuna has become the most enlightened socerer ever He has reached nirvana Lots of people think that gojo portrays Buddha more but if you actually watch closely You will realize that Sukuna was an evil Buddha He walked down the path of complete selfishness in revenge but wasn’t completely true to his heart but now he has lost just like sun wukong ( the fighting Buddha) and he has acknowledged his true self and his loss with extreme calmness like a sage He has truly reached true enlightenment If there js a next time Sukuna will reach levels of unseen unimaginable powers as a socerer He has already surpassed his former self countless times over
271 aint bad. Its a good stopping number. Never got interested in this series. Didnt really appeal to me. But seeing a manga reach this high fills me with joy. Congrats JJK for 271 chapters!!
It was a wonderful experience to engage with the story. This ending wasn’t that bad actually. It had this “Life goes on” type vibe. I understand people’s frustration about certain characters and plot points no longer being explored, but we do have enough components to understand how the story going to play out after this ending. Legitimately, this generation of sorcerers defeated the king of curses and at this point surpasses Gojo as he wanted them too. Legitimately, there’s no other characters besides Takaba that could threaten the world of JJK. The closer for me is that the journey is more important than the ending. Yuji growth and understanding his role in life is so beautiful. Definitely a lesson I will carry forward with my life.
@@felipesantos-er4kk At the end of the day, it’s my prerogative. You don’t have to comment emojis face palming because you disagree with my perspective on the ending. Come on gang, at least try to be respectful of other’s opinions. 🙄

That's a really poignant takeaway. I'm glad we got the same thing out of it. It really shows the difference in the emotional maturity and reading level of certain people when they're throwing fits over stuff that historically has never mattered to the story itself.
@@certafan Bro, I been noticing that of lately. Emotional maturity and reading comprehension varies so differently from people. Though I’m so grateful to know that there’s others who can see the story under these lens and reach the same conclusion that I have.
I am gonna disagree with the idea that Gege wanted to expand on certain ideas, JJK is a manga that skips training arcs, doesn't do very extended backstories unless is a whole arc and never gave a single character a funeral. As much as people wanted a Gojo funeral scene Gege is just too economic to even considered that, this is also why stuff like the US military exist there just to move specific plot points forward and while this type of storytelling worked for Shibuya it was gonna have diminishing returns at some point. I don't think the ending is bad though is just about how the rest of JJK is on average and I never particularly cares for the minor stuff simply because JJK never did either, one of my complaints even in the early manga was the lack of breathing room between story lines so Gege disregarding the world building details and the side cast is to me how JJK has always been.
The cracks started showing the more we got further from Shibaya. The more I look into things it seems that his editor(s) helped to make the start of JJK amazing and JJK was coasting of that but as more characters and elements of the early story got written out the harder it was to ignore the issues with the new stuff
I personally believe it's not that terrible of an ending. Gives me flashbacks of how unsatisfactory and rushed Bleach's final was (even though it had many interesting symbolisms, just poorly executed) JJK's final battle felt more enjoyable FOR ME as it goes a little more on the traditional way some old shonen had epic battles with everyone entering the fray giving it all they got till their last breath. I also believe this is not the end of the content, just like how Bleach got two supplementary novels that tie some of the loose ends of its final, I'm possitive JJK might get something like that, a novel or a short spin-off done later on. JJK sells very well right now for the shonen jump to simply stop there yet.
Aizen doesn't need a back story. His drive never changed. He was a complex character. As he is sealed Kubo drops lore that has only further justified Aizen, although I dispise the way he went about it. The Soul Society is a flawed. Sukuna on the other hand is just bland. We are told he is a hedonist and that he is the "strongest". A literal 2 dimensional character. Then, in the last chapter he has some kind of character growth but it feels flat because we never learned to care about him or his ideals. Jjk will not live up to a re read.
If this is the end then it's really disappointing... I don't understand why this is happening. Its like Naruto. I believe Naruto had a couple of things they could've dived in like the world of limbo insisted of destroying everything with Boruto. I personally hate Boruto's story and character as a whole. I was really hopping that Buruto was the eternal tsukuyomi hehehe. I hope it's just a marketing strategy to explode the internet of the last episode of the anime. JuJutsu has too much unfinished business.
This is my issue with everyone who laughs at Demon Slayer's linear and basic story telling. Sure, it's basic, but the ending was sure damn well done as well as just overall delivering quite a fun and rewarding experience. JJK tried to be too complex in ways and fell flat. Boruto tried to be sophisticated and in depth but does a horrible job delivering and feels very forced like taking away Naruto and Sasuke's most OP abilities. I enjoy simple stories like Demon Slayer far more than I did trying to understand the deeper meaning and details in every new JJK chapter. I'm super disappointed with the ending. It's so ass.
Tbh, for the number of chapters to finish a whole story, which covers over 200 chapters. Gege did the best he could. This by no means is a fumble in terms of endings. It's just a really... REALLY rushed one. If only he had time, He would have cooked.
Can’t wait for the aftermath when the chapter is officially revealed and for you anime watchers out there consider you fools lucky not knowing whats going on…
The MHA ending was antithetical to plot points it set up for half the series. At least the JJK just disregarded plot points and didn't commit thematic hypocrisy.
i think that the only way for gege to fix that fumble of an ending is to draw a one shot about the cast of characters some time in the future, no jjk2 just a very long one shot explaining everything we haben't got our answer to
It's not just one of the best manga it's up there with best media of the century as a whole. Kaneki is up there with the best of the best, Furuta is one of my favourite antagonists, the chapters where they were having their last talk is some of the best stuff I've ever seen
People are so overly dramatic about this conclusion it’s hilarious and pathetic there is still so much yet to come especially with the anime and Gege’s next work relaxxxx
I've always saw this series as mediocre storytelling wise. Poor worldbuilding and even worse execution. I think it was very overrated, carried by the great animation. This ending would be alright if it was a set up for a part 2 where everything is going to be explored, expanded upon and explained but as it is this is one of the worst ending I've seen. Veteran shonen mangaka are just better storytellers than this new gen shonen mangaka.

It was an amazing ending
This ending made me appreciate hiatuses, now i understand there is actually a level of respect from the author to their work and the fans in leaving a series on hold rather than rush it and crash it. It's now clear just how done Gege was with this series, it literally just stopped, this is a no-ending, things were happening here and there and then "The End"....
Also, wishful thinking but i do wish the backlash was at least significant enough that Shonen Jump changes the way they pressure authors, way too many endings from flop to meh to mid, it's obvious something's at fault with that magazine and its editors.

Its incredibly obvious what has happened to JJK
Gege was running out of steam, out of energy, out of inspiration, and also probably running out of time from publisher.
The second the author/editor decided to make that the finale of the series, JJK dropped from fantastic to 'good'
EDIT: I have a weird feeling that could be totally wrong, but I felt the scenes with Charles what like 1 or 2 chapters ago sitting at his desk writing a one shot manga, that whole little segment TO ME felt weirdly out of place and like it was intentionally done that way to imply something to the audience, as if Gege was speaking through Charles & Charles' editor in that scene straight to the readership that "a one shot is coming" idk I could be wrong but yeah
8:41 it seems Maki is the man in the relationship. 🤭
Huh? She just threw an arm around his shoulder. How are they dating
Sukuna got a happy ending, he'll probably reincarnate and eventually meet uraume and yorozu(yorozu chose north because she knew sukuna will choose north) he'll probably become a professional archer and live with uraume and yorozu
In the end sukuna got 2 wives and gojo got no friends 😂

MHA's ending was better than this. It at least tied up storylines.
Here, we don't even know what happened to the culling games, the gojo clan, the big 3 families, more backstory on some of the most important characters in the series, etc.
To me everything points to some sort of sequel cuz there are just too many things that get brought up in the last few chapters.
@@jcs7206 Pretty sure Gege already said there won't be a sequel.

Biggest mid, and Peak Ghoul ended Peak.

@@mysteryman9488 It's called good writting. Any story with a power system should demostrate or aknowledge what the potential drawbacks or consequences of an ability is.
Stop embarassing yourself dude

Stand proud brother, you can cook.
Someone has actual literary analysis skills. Cook!

Haven't been that disappointed since the ending of aot
JJK fans in shamble. Also this is as far as open ended as you can get, all major forces got taken out, nothing left to continue.

@@MawsYTBut Demon Slayer isn't a simple, basic story and has a crazy amount of deep meaning and details.
@@natalimoina are you kidding? 😂
You can have deep meaning behind a rather simple story.
Blud didn't read Boruto two blue vortex
I hope you'll always be dissatisfied with every story you come across lol
Tbh, for the number of chapters to finish a whole story, which covers over 200 chapters.
Gege did the best he could.
This by no means is a fumble in terms of endings. It's just a really... REALLY rushed one.
If only he had time, He would have cooked.
I'm more content with this ending than I was with my hero, and maybe with a bit of copium to get by.
Can’t wait for the aftermath when the chapter is officially revealed and for you anime watchers out there consider you fools lucky not knowing whats going on…
Is it safe to say that MHA ending is better than this?🤔
The MHA ending was antithetical to plot points it set up for half the series. At least the JJK just disregarded plot points and didn't commit thematic hypocrisy.
@@certafan Elaborate
jjk ending at least was better than mha
@@amimmas6825 at least mha had an ending....
YES!
What's was Yuji DE name again🤔
Benevolent shrine is what some people like to call it
So sukuna did got his redemption arc he wasnt a person i saw in him... He wasnt the pure evil villian i alawas liked just someone broken...
gege fumbled harder than my dad and mom when they created me
i think that the only way for gege to fix that fumble of an ending is to draw a one shot about the cast of characters some time in the future, no jjk2 just a very long one shot explaining everything we haben't got our answer to
Dont know how I feel about the ending. So much left unanswered, but I am becoming more ok with it as time passes.
Its already answered Sukuna became Yuji we knew and the rest is history.
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@felipesantos-er4kk Im afraid that was the writer intended.
Gege is the only mangaka that cooked so well it burnt and then came out as dogshit carbonised writing
did we ever find out why geto grabbed kenjakus neck? i dont really watch jjk but my lil bro does so i half watch with him
kind like muscular memory when the body heard the Gojo's voice
15:11- at least we have the anime to expand things
Black clover is gonna be the underdog of the shonens, nobody think about it or a lot of people hate it but it s gonna have the best final
Yall forgot gojo THIS SOON? bruh yall only loved him because of his charm...
So whats up with the Culling Game?
Bro did not read chapter 270.
@@flowermeat.3028 I was confused but after taking another look at it, I kind of dont like it. lol
went too hard on that "Bleach fan" with that ending
Well, the series didn’t end the way we probably expected, but perhaps that’s the point.
Things often never work out the way we want, that’s life.
If any of you want a good ending, read Peak Ghoul.
It's a seinen, and damn the ending landed so good.
Yeah anime really did the story dirty
It's not just one of the best manga it's up there with best media of the century as a whole. Kaneki is up there with the best of the best, Furuta is one of my favourite antagonists, the chapters where they were having their last talk is some of the best stuff I've ever seen
Tokyo Ghoul is goated
People are so overly dramatic about this conclusion it’s hilarious and pathetic there is still so much yet to come especially with the anime and Gege’s next work relaxxxx
They should make another series based off of sukuna's next life.
The best ending would be Gojo and Geto beting kenjaku together
Atleast some info regarding the "mysterious figure" along with takaba should have been shared wtf was this bruh
Sadly Shonen Jump was probably teh main reason why the ending is the way it is but oh welp it's better than nothing
Veteran shonen mangaka are just better storytellers than this new gen shonen mangaka.
if u actually write something then sure it's a neutral ending they win and get to go on living what else could be done to make it better huh
It *was* good, but never FULLY explored.
There’s still Chainsaw Man, that’s good!
Naw it was properly rated and actually really good until Sakuna possessed Megumi. Everything started to go downhill after that. I also heavily disagree with that last statement. There's many good new gen mangaka who writes good stories.
@@micah459 I agree that there are good new gen shonen manga. I really like Sakamoto Days, Chainsaw Man and Dandadan but older shonen manga were generally better and longer which is harder to do.
Meanwhile the ending to old gens
-Goku abandongs his whole family and friends to train Uub
-Naruto's last chapter isn't even about him becomign Hokage we just follow his kid around
-Bleach's last chapter is more or less the same as JJK's everything just goes on back to where it was but Ichigo has a kid now
How it should have ended :
We get striked back into battlefield, Yuji using his domain on Sukuna showing him that he cannot win and this would be the outcome what we have just witnessed.
( explenation of Yujis domain : Yujis domain can alter a view of soul and predict the future of participants in this domain - brains are delusional but a soul can see things clearly, Yujis domain can bring these views on the surface - saying Sukuna will die... and Yuji will survive and there is no other way arround... BUT..... what about the people that were not inside the domain ? )
Gege annouce that this is NOT the end and we have few chapters left.
Sukuna laughs and proceed to say : So I'm destined to lose ? good i like those ods, never had an fight where I was this close to losing. I take it as a challange.
Proceed to give it his all, A mad hand to hand combat will proceed.
All over again all alive members of anti sukuna squad will go back into battle.
Jumping sukuna, sukuna taking blows from everyone but then an maniac smile and euphori of him being at his limits kicks in and starts killing. One by One. Sukuna enjoys the look on yujis face as he see his dear friends falling.
Yuji gets into overdrive and starts brawling at sukuna, crying, screaming, punching.
After deadly combat Sukuna LET Yuji deal a finishing blow but in a rage and overflow of emotions he tears out heart of Megumi... killing him in process... and sukuna just laughs... this is the ending that i shall decide for myself, Living and dying as a curse...
Sukuna fufilled his words - killing everyone and let yuji watch... with a cherry on the top... killing Megumi with Yujis own hands.
Sukuna Dying... not using rct to recover... and leaving Yuji with blood on his hands and half of the cast dead....
After that next 5 chapters would be conclusion to the story and finaly showing how yuji copes with the death of everyone. Learning to forgive himself and live even trough the depression, hardship and pain he had to endure.
A true story of overcoming the guilt, sadness and regeret we feel...
All the complainers in the comments getting mad about the ending, they've just mad because their stupid headcannon didn't come true.
Nah. It's shit writing.
“It’s the lessons we learned along the way” ass ending
So what's yuji's domain name? malicious sanctuary?
What a fumbled by gege
A creation(jujutsu kaisen) can never surpass it's creator(bleach), but on a side note, I still love jujutsu kaisen with all my heart 😊
