For someone like me who’s into enthusiasts’ cars, this HR-V is a win-win product. Sure, it doesn’t have the turbo nor the engaging driving experience to spice things up but it does have pretty much what we need for a safe and decent mode of transportation.

I love my 2023 HRV AWD LX . It has plenty of power for me. It is a very luxurious feeling and looking vehicle, even at the LX trim, it still had the necessary important safety features. And the cloth seats are very very comfortable. I absolutely love it ❤

I honestly have no problem with the power it has. Sure it’s no race car but gradually it picks up speed and on the interstate you can be doing 80 to 90 mph before you even realize it. I’m glad it doesn’t have a turbo in it one less thing to break. I’m getting 33 mpg city driving and upper 40’s cruising down the hwy 55to 60 mph. Absolutely love my sport trim 2023 Honda HRV. It does have a sport mode btw that’s what the S stands for on the gear shifter and it programs quicker throttle and cvt transmission response….

I wanted a 23 Accord EX last year as I was trading my 20 Fit EX with 8200 equity. In Texas, my insurance was going up 445.00 in my 6 months. A Civic was 440.00 more on insurance. The lowest increase was 235.00 on the 24 HRV EXL. I refused to pay almost 300 a month for insurance on the Accord. I got the 24 HRV EXL. My insurance is 229 a month. My payment is 342. I paid 29,000 MSRP and financed 20,500 for the HRV. I’m paying extra principal so in 10 months I’m down to 11,800. I’m glad I didn’t get the 1.5 turbo Accord as they have the oil dilution and blown head gasket issues. I’m glad I have the plain 4 cylinder engine. Accords and Civics are stolen a lot and expensive to repair.check the insurance before you buy a car. Some are less than others.

It's interesting to me that Honda offers the HR-V to U.S. customers with one engine choice, whereas the Civic (its platform mate) and the CR-V (its larger sibling) both offer two engine choices, with the Civic soon gaining a third option in the hybrid powertrain. If Honda already sells every HR-V it can make, there may not be a business case for an engine upgrade now, but I predict a mid-cycle refresh with either a second engine option or a more powerful base engine, not unlike what Toyota is doing with its Corolla Cross Hybrid.

Hi, from Japan!! Thank you for the fun film as usual. It is called “ZR-V” in here Japan somehow. More kinds of power train you can choose in Japan. Like 2L engine with e-HEV. The engine makes 141PS of power and 182Nm of torque. The motor makes 184PS of power and 315Nm of torque. You would like it more because of the dynamics. The price is around $40K, though. ZR-V’s grill is kind of different from the HR-V. ZR-V adapts vertical lines grill. I cannot find any other differences. Haha.

No Blue, (dark or royal colors) no Red, (Burgundy or Cherry colors), no Green, (lite or rich Forest colors) in the "metallic finishes". Size wise it reminds me like the earlier generations of the CR-Vs, I wonder what it actually is compared to them. Definitely preferred the styling of the prior generation HR-V, it also had more distinct spot in the lineup as a sub-compact CUV instead of Honda now having a swath of similarly sized compacts. Seems like Toyota is doing the same thing by replacing the CH-R with the Corolla Cross

I looked at all those and the Kona , Tiguan , kicks , escape , trail blazer and eclipse I really liked the Hondas reliability factor not having a turbo that is super simple to work on when the warranty is over with. Also the interior is the most spacious in its class like they said more of a mid size feel. It also has great visibility hardly any blind spots. Most of the competition really lacked in this category. Ultimately I felt the hrv was the best Cross of reliability, functionality and safety.

Honda stole Ford's design. This HR-V look like a Ford Escape, the Accord look like a Ford Taurus, and the CR-V Look like a Ford Explorer.

Not at all. Hands-down the WORST new car I have ever tested. AWFUL. 👎
Seats made of concrete, a suspension made of concrete, a steering rack made of concrete.
