    This is the way you do a review.
    No punches pulled, very informative you have put the nail in the coffin for me now.
    I could decide and sleep well😁. I was against the fence about the both whoop style quads
    and I'm going to ✅ out the tiny hawk 2 thanks😉👍.

    There is a spektrum module for the Taranis and it is Spektrum.
    I do agree though, to little to late.

    Blade is a Horizon Hobby company and horizon hobby owns Spektrum... they’re not going to make a quad that is compatible with they’re competitors. As nice as a “universal” transmitter/receiver protocol sounds, it’s never gonna happen, sorry mike

    For me personally, i stay far away from proprietary products as much as possible, that includes Quads/Drones. I realize that at times proprietary products are best depending on who the manufacturer is and their reputation. But with quads, it's like you said, you have to buy their parts exclusively, and their usually over priced. For that fact, thats why i have never purchased anything from Spectrum. If you break a part on your whoop or transmitter, it's nice to know if the branded manufacturer is out stock of that part, you can purchased it from another thats just as good or sometime better. Thanks for the video FC.

    wholly shitzus batman this IS A PSA of the utmost priority. i bought it retail for 149.00+ tax and have no youtube followers otherwise i woulda warned our community myself.
    - Hobbytown recommended batt
    - VENOM 500mah 3.7v 30c x2
    - $9.99/ea
    - < 1min23sec flight time 2x
    WAIT WHAT?
    - Unplug battery after land from LOW BATT
    - Plug back in after 5 secs 9x
    - Yellow batt LED 8x
    - 18-22 sec flight time 8x
    - Red batt LED 1x
    - batt FINALLY recharges more than 305mah.
    This is BY FAR & flyAWAY the most bizarre usage of battery juice I have ever seen. Hello TinyHAWKmbula7tone

    Making Horizon products compatible with other transmitters is like Sony making Xbox controllers. Fly this on a DX8 with the rates setup as stated in the manual and it flies awesome. Yes indeed it was overprice but you can get them for for like $100 now.

    It is not exactly “Spektrum only” because you can add an sbus rx of your liking. All you have to do is take the lead off of the Spektrum Rx and connect it to an sbus rx and it will automatically recognize the new rx. Horizon themselves addressed this so it’s not a hacky workaround. It is actually the way it was designed.

    • @gerdanc
      @gerdanc 6 лет назад

      Just a side note your videos got me hooked into FPV. I fell in love with the Tokio but could never afford one. It’s such a great design with some innovative ideas. I always respect what you have to say and direct others to your videos so I thought you may want to know about being uninformed about the Inductrix BL being able to use other sbus receivers.

    • @FlightClubFPV
      @FlightClubFPV  6 лет назад

      @@gerdanc Thanks for the tip Marty. I'll mention this when I do the big whoop post. Even if it can take an SBUS rx it's still way overpriced and a pain to get the rates correct.

    • @GoatZilla
      @GoatZilla 6 лет назад

      I'm surprised they even designed it that way. But if you're not willing to deal with betaflight, you're not willing to solder a new rx on. If you are willing to deal with betaflight... you wouldn't buy this quad.

    Hmm. I LOVE my brushless Blade Inductrix! In fact I love ALL my drones from blade. I’m a hardcore Spektrum fan. I’ve flown it hundreds of times and never had any problems. Sorry, it’s one of my favorite go-to’s for whoop races. Rest In Peace brushed whoops and the constant bunny hopping problems.I do wish they made a 75 or 85mm brushless version.

A very durable quad for the beginner flies great very easy to work on. Currently I'm flying his Proton and love it and wow very fast!!! Check my latest video. Mike keep up the good work man you're a pillar of the community. I've been getting fpv stuff from Mike's website for the last 3 years. Competitive priced and very fast shipping and he may even throw in a surprise in your order.

      My Torrent 110 was the first quad I felt comfortable with going full out to learn rates. It just flies so well out of the box on 2s. One of my only quads that flies so well that I never fly it with stabilization. Better props and ditching the prop guards to save weight are really all you need to do to it.

      "Easily worth the price cheapskates" Not compared to superior competitor offerings. That's just plain ol' factual. Between 80 and 125 bucks you can get a lot more quad for the money, with (usually) 4 batteries and depending on what you get, a soft case BetaFPV, TinyHawk, Trashcan, etc... the list goes on and on. Most competitors are even 1s-2s compatible.

  • @gymkhanadog

    Dude... facts. Get them right. The ONLY valid point you had in this entire video was that it's too expensive and doesn't include a battery. Blade didn't make the original Whoop. They made the original Inductrix, which Jesse Perkins from Team Big Whoop made in to what we now know as the Tiny Whoop. Blade is Horizon, Horizon is Spektrum. Why would you expect Spektrum to support a competitor's product? Get a good radio and stop whining. :P Even the OG Inductrix ONLY ran Spektrum. And as a point of fact, BetaFlight is actually trying to model their software to be closer to the Inductrix software because it works so well. So if you like BetaFlight, you can thank Blade for helping improve it.

    I agree it's not all that good but the problem most sertenly isn't radio compatibility given the frsky is cheap garbage that is overcomplicated and don't know why people insist on using them. Also if it's more complicated to turn your rates down on the radio than it is to be within range of a computer to change it on beta flight that's more of a statement of how badly designed your radios firmware is. Not only that but it's a pain to find some of the better whoops that will work with spektrum not like if you do have frsky you have literally a 100 other options for China whoops that are better than inductrix anyway
