World Mechanics I installed the oxygen sensor in the link and after a while of leaving it on smoke started coming out of where the sensor goes in. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a defective sensor what could be the reason?
I love your videos cause I am a 2012 Kia Forte Lx owner and it’s the best car I’ve ever had. Also I am realizing that DIY for this car is easy and reasonable for non mechanics like me. I’ve reached 120k miles and I am just now having minor problems with it. Your videos help a lot, thank you!
Hello! I noticed in your videos that you had 200 videos on how to work on the Forte? I can only see 50. Do you have the rest of them archived somewhere? These videos are helping me confidently do maintainence on my Forte5. Thanks for the great videos!
do you have a video on a 2009 kia sedona? I have a P0057 and it said Bank 2 Sensor 2 but I don't know where's located at. can you point out please? Thanks in advance
Nice Job gentlemen! Question: I have 2014 Kia Sorento and the O2 sensor sits on a bronze color plate. I did not see the plate where the sensor sits on your vehicle. Did you remove this? I am having a difficult time fitting the deep socket to twist the sensor off. The metal plate is in the way. How did you do it? Thanks!
So I have a question, so I replaced the oxygen sensor that you showed on your video, but there's another oxygen sensor right next to it (which has a much longer cord). Is that a upstream sensor or a downstream sensor?
I have the same on my forte, there is another sensor back behind this one, to the right a litle bit, down deeper. Is this a second upstream sensor for fuel/air ratio?
Upstream means before the converter. This one in the video is upstream. The second one you are seeing is below "after" the converter and is called the down stream. The converter and exhaust manifold are all in one on these cars.

On my optima the sensors are on the left and right I need to change bank one sensor one. I think thats the one on the driver side but I'm not 100 percent sure.
Please, I need your kind help. Immediately I stepped on brake for emergency break, the abs light stays on and handbreak do come up as well until I stop the engine for some seconds and restart the engine for the handbreak to go off. Please I need your help. Thanks.
e brake is still engaging. Connections got a bit loose. its in your arm rest box in the bottom remove the piece of cotton bottom to have acess to ebrake cables.

Awesome thank you. How do you check to see if the 02 sensor is damaged?
You wear a very nice watch for a mechanic. I even take off my lovely 40 dollar Casio when doing an oil change 😅
Working with Citizen watch.Great Man 😎

Same here. My Kia is a 2007 Optima. Does the plate have to come off? Every video I watch they do not have this.
Very helpful video good job
Thanks. I have an engine light for O2 sensor. Looks easy.
Mine didnt light up

Great videos video
Never in my life have I seen an O2 sensor break free that easily.
That's why he recommends using a lube before installing new one.
Great video easy to understand
I have a 2011 Kia Optima that needs an oxygen sensor. Do you have a tutorial for that or is it similar to the Forte above?
Did you ever get the job done? Records it plz

How much similar to the optima is this?

is this Bank 2 sensor 1?
I believe this is bank 1 sensor 1.
What were the symptoms of having a bad oxygen sensor

if you have abs light you may have faulty speed sensor on any 4 wheels
What did you put on the screwdriver? Where on the sensor do you apply it?
Anti sieze or never sieze most part houses have them in very small packages by the counter it's good to apply to spark plug threads as well
Thx
Will the check engine light go off by itself after this?
Did yours ever go off in its own?
@@christianwilliams1894 yes
I need to repair my coolant overflow plastic tank it is cracked and need to find the oxygen sensor 1 bank 1 for less then 116.00 dollars
is this the same for a 2014 Kia Sorento?
How you test a sensor
I always work on my engine with my good watch…..
Thank fucking god
