Every year, new fad diets pop up with promises that drastically changing your diet can help you lose weight. But in reality, this type of quick-fix weight loss doesn’t last. How many of you have been on a diet? How many times have you failed? Let me know in the comments below.
If you really want to go on a “diet” and drop the pounds for good, your best bet is to adopt healthy habits that you will be able to maintain over the long term. Just keep this in mind, the best diet is the one that doesn’t feel like a diet. The plan incorporates all food groups, teaches you about portion sizes, and provides healthy cooking tips. In fact, the best diet is actually NOT a diet, but a lifestyle that you can sustain forever.
So after going through an endless list of diets, here are my top 3 best diets that have been scientifically proven to help you with weight loss and healthy weight management for life.
    1) Healthy Balance
    2) Mediterranean Diet
    3) Low Carb Diet
While changing your diet can be one of the best ways to lose weight, it can also be a gateway to improving your habits, focusing on your health, and leading a more active lifestyle. Although the 3 diets have been shown to be effective for weight loss, the diet you choose should depend on your lifestyle and food preferences. This ensures that you are more likely to stick to it in the long term.
    xx

Great video, I think the first one fits me since I don't eat much seafood and love carbs :D I am just now stopping intermittent fasting after like 4-5 years of the same routine. (creature of habit!) It was very effective in the first year and lost about 30 pounds, but now after 2 surgeries and pandemic, I need to lose 15-20. I am starting my day with black coffee and a protien shake. My lunches are always a healthy salad, nuts, cheese, zero sugar yogurt and dinners aren't too bad. My downfalls are always alcohol and pizza! I recently turned 40. I think the hard part will be incorporating breakfast again without going over the calorie intake for the day.

  • @kat4animals004
    @kat4animals004 Год назад +2

That's super easy it's not all about what you eat as opposed to when you eat. What you eat is important however when you eat is more important. Not snacking all day long and eating in a shorter window of time and not having any calories outside of that two for or six hour window for 24 hours. That's called intermittent fasting. start eating at 4:00 p.m. stop by 8:00 p.m. or start eating at 2:00 p.m. And stop by 6:00 p.m.

I've been on diet since I was 13... N I'm 15 right now! I'm not sure if I'm following a proper diet... I've used to not eat breakfast ( but drink Teh Tarik, which has high calorie- Ikkk ) Don't worry, now I'm eating brekkie everyday. I eat three times a day n sometimes I'll be on cheating day.... Hihi. I am way more happier with my body than before, but I still got some things to do with my body... like having abs, strong thighs, losing armpit fat. Now I'm finding solutions for these... I know I have to do workout, but as a student I don't really have time to do... I need a simple routine for busy teenagers like me. Like doing exercises for about 15 - 30 minutes a day...

It also depends with age. I have had to do this. Nothing sweet, not even fruit. Nothing made from wheat and nothing starch. Instead go for tonnes of veggies, fish and white meat. The best part is that I can have a drink but stop when you feel it in your head. I.E. Don't get drunk. Have a blow out at weekends, but don't go too mad about it. As long as you get back to it.

In reality, losing weight when eating carbs is extremely hard. It's possible if the one is in caloric deficit for a long time. But most of us are lazy dreamers who think a day or two per week in caloric deficit will suffice 🙂
Hormones are also there for a reason. When the one eats carbs, the brain immediately signals that the cells must prepare to store fats. Because of this, it's difficult to reach fat-burning process without exercising even in caloric deficit.
Talking about plant based diets? The worst you can do to yourself. That is indeed restrictive and hard on the body as we are lacking of certain enzymes that could help break down all those "wonderful" cellulose and other interesting things. Sorry, I ain't no cow or rabbit.
People, with not enough knowledge and experience including white-coat wearing employees of pharma working as "doctors", like to bash the ketogenic diet for being restrictive. Well, keto is NOT a diet but a metabolic state that the one must sustain 24 hours every day. Been doing keto for over 6 years and the problem is not that it's restrictive. The problem is that the body doesn't keep the fats and water, therefore, electrolyte imbalance occurs. I literally overeat my maintenance calories every day, yet the scales won't budge upwards. I also had to stop exercising and now take only leisurely walks. Besides, voila, my blood works are way better than anybody else's. In fact, lab workers are always surprised by my blood markers :-) Yes, ketogenic diet is so bad 🙂 Liver markers in the range of 10-20, perfect blood counts, HDL 68-75, trigs 40-80, cholesterol hovering around the upper limit, ratios are ridiculously low that doctors I have seen never see before. Higher HDL than trigs 🙂 How is that even possible they say.
On another note, all the research that these self-made nutrition experts refer to, were designed to lead people to carbs and were funded by Big Pharma that aren't interested in healthy people.
People are told that cholesterol is a predictor of heart disease thank you to Pharma funded research. In reality, most of the carbs you eat must be turned into fat that the body stores, and what else does your body need for this? Cholesterol. There is ample data out there to know that all these "fake research" are designed to lead people away from the best choices.
It's rather surprising that in these years, people still believe in Pharma funded research. Randomized trials are excluded, proper peer reviews aren't done. People must understand that healthy society is NOT what Pharmaceutical companies or governments want. 🙂
I am heartbroken when I see diabetic people listening to their doctors' advice just to get sicker and sicker slowly. Same true for cancer. Nobody is told to do intermittent and more prolonged fasting, drop carbs and add more real nutrition as fats and proteins. No one is told to move away from polluted area, or away from 5G towers. No one is told to use cannabis oils, or decrease the use of Pharma pills. It's a really pathetic world with full of dreamers who are lazy to do their own research and believe the magic comes from our beloved white-coat wearing doctors.
The reason why I came back from diabetes and kidney damage is that I literally stopped listening to doctors. And now at age 47 I am healthier than ever.
