Don't rush the fermentation. Yeast also creates lots of off-products during fermentation but will clean those up if given time. A homebrew rule of thumb is 2 weeks in the fermenter and two weeks conditioning at room temp.
Nice video Si & Mel. Most of my home brews come in these style of pouches now. Not sure how the Pinter works but I'd leave some cold water out, fill the brew pouch with some hot water just to get all the extract out . The warm water will also help to kick start the Yeast
We all know how this ended the 1st time round when you experimented with Pinter1. It all ended up in the bin 😂😂😂. Have a very strong feeling this will end the same way, from the way you “brewed it “ ….. Just hope you got it for free is all I can add!! 👍🏻
I mix mine in a jug to make sure the syrup is mixed properly ,and add a bit of warm water in the pouch to get all the syrup out, mostly due to the Pinter 2 weighing a ton being metal, habits? Pinter 3 is a lot lighter.
Using filtered water or distilled water is a good starting point. Depending on the quality of your tap water, there can be a lot of off flavours produced by chlorine and chloramines present in town water. Stay away from camden tablets, just use freash water. Cheers.
What happened to the follow up @realalecraftbeer. Assume it didn’t go well and as the unit was given to him for free, he couldn’t bring himself to do the review and criticise it.
I'm curious, not trollin'......regardless of a yeast starter....was that just cold water you added the yeast to after the malt pack?....Won't the wort be too cold for the yeast?....I've been into Air Still Turbo yeasts myself for a while so has beer yeast been modified for low temp brewing or am I missing something?...Just subscribed as you've got me interested in returning to beer brewing but without the barrels n bottles n gas n mess.
Some experienced Pinter brewers will add the yeast to warm water but I just wanted to follow the basic instructions for the purpose of the video, thanks for subscribing and I hope your brewing ventures go well for you.
Bro your supposed to squeeze everything out man like rolling up a toothpaste roll 😂😂😂😂😢 bloods don’t even know how to follow directions 😂😂😂 this product was made 4 you
Was there no update to this?
Hey Simon did you ever try it ?
No follow up video?
Absolutely brilliant to see Mel on the channel once again . Let's hope it's not a "one off " appearance.

I'm guessing that this Pinter 3 brew didn't go all that well ?
Was looking forward to seeing you review this product 😊
any updates on this system any good have you done any more brews ?
Update?
Another fine mess of a video. I mean in a good way because its real, very little prep has gone into it and we are seeing it real time. 😊

How did this brew turn out?
I don't remember seeing a beer review off this, i take it it never worked out 😀
Really like these videos tbh and hello Mel
I wonder if the purifier is VWP as I already have a stash of that from my previous brews.
I'm worried about the electric plug safety in that kitchen! there's overloaded plugs everywhere including close to water for god's sake
I’m worried that he was clearly half cut from the very start of the video!
@@andrewsteer8860 he does look 3 sheets to the wind doesn't he
I thought exactly the same. Fire waiting to happen there.
Never heard of this before. Thanks mate.
Nice video, Hello Mel! I'd let it ferment for few more days, 8 or 9, just to he sure it's all done. Cheers Si!

Great vid👍
I'd leave it to brew longer than 5 day, i'd go for 10 days then a week in the fridge.
Homebrew usually needs at least 3-4 weeks total to be drinkable.
Great video Si

What happened with this Simon?
I like Mel’s voice
Looking forward to the Pinter 15: Simon Proof.

I thought reviewing bud lite was as low as it got, but the pinter!? Yeah a new low bar has been set!
What is wrong with this?
@@dylanscruton2071it’s like buying instant noodles and then rating south eat Asian cuisine…oh…wait…

Simon, it's a waste of water...😂😂😂
You sterilised everything then managed to contaminate everything again by putting fingers and noses in places they shouldn't have been 😂
Who is Mel?
Have you thought of a ‘brand name’ to call your home brew?
What could go wrong?

Wheres the beer review of this homebrew? I did this one yr ago and it failed. Bad unit, so i sent it back for full refund.
Simon does not like instructions!.
I lost interest after 5 mins.
Seems a very expensive way of making Homebrew if you include the Pinter.
