reckon you could have the same thing in a fermzilla all rounder with all the pressure fermentation stuff , and a picnic tap for a lil cheaper. and then buy local hbs fresh wort kits.
My setup too, but also with a grain mill. Though I respect these product which makes it easier for those that might not be into it to make some "homebrew". Might also be a gateway drug for many to get into homebrew.
Idk it seems interesting but I also think it takes all the fun out of homebrew. I enjoy coming up with my own recipes or trying out recipes from the internet. If it was usable as a way to brew custom recipes I would be interested. The way I see this is just like buying a 12 pack with extra steps and more ways to screw it up.
Some people, honestly like myself, cant be arsed with the brewing part. But would love to have a proper pint at home as opposed to a can. I fully get your point but a pint like this would be better than a can. You are stating that a can is of the same as this in quality which is clearly false.
Not sure you're point on the falseness of any claim. The point I'm making is that this is far superior to a cheap canned beer and is much fresher than those and any other canned beer you'll get. Don't understand where the confusion or misleading on our point is.

Cracking vid, came here after searching for some vids to give some info having seen an ad on Instagram. Really appreciate the time you’ve taken to pull this together and the decent production value & entertainment. Not sure on your other content yet but I’ve subscribed as you’ve got a presenting great style so I’m looking forward to more.
Thanks so much for taking the time and thanks for your comments. As for the Pinter, we have a playlist (pinned comment on this video) with 3 videos in total so far and much more to come. Welcome to the community. 👍🏻
Thanks for the video. Your video is better than the official Pinter instructions video that does not even tell you about conditioning and turning the carbonation dial. Cheers
You just saved me completely, getting on the brewing dock the way they show was literally impossible 3 different people tried and failed, used the method you showed and it went on with ease
I just set mine up and started a brew. The instructional video I was watching on my Tablet was quite good up until the point where I had made the brew and need to reattach the brew dock again The instruction does not show that you put the tank onto the brew dock they show it the other way around which is damn difficult to do. So I watched this video and I am really pleased I did Now 6 days to brew ( Fresh Republic Lager) and 2 days to condition So n the third of February I will be deciding if I get a spare tank to keep brews on the go. Thanks for this very informative video with all the tips.
Yes great, brought one for myself and also did the Public House first too, 7 days to brew and condition 1 to drink (not alone!). Am on my second brew now, excellent.
Having home brewed for over 10years, graduating from bottling to corny kegs, I can honestly say this looks amazing.., and what a great video as well sir. Your family all should receive payment from the company, as they sold the product.
If you just want a cheap small fermenter and keg just buy a mr beer kit and a separate bucket to siphon beer/wort into while you clean the trub out of the mr beer, less than $100 for 4gallons i think If you want it force carbonate able fermenter look for a pressure barrel fermenter (i brew 15gallons at a time and found this product abit gimmicky but meant for people who don't brew)
And continually positive. Still loving it. Its the nature of the beast. Those who have problems will always sound off louder than those who don't. Enjoy it and if you have any problems, the customer service is cracking. 👍🏻
Ordered with the red (nutmeg, cinnamon, orange) and just watched this. Good video. Subscribed and going to watch the others next. Delivery is mid December so should be ok for Christmas 🎄
Ha! I just watched this and think I performed each step the exact same way you did when I first started. My first brew, Resting Peach Face, is currently conditioning in the fridge! Can't wait!
Couldn't resist; I've ordered mine. Can't wait! Originally was looking for a perfect draft or a sub but them being sold out came across this by accident. I've brewed my own beer, cider and mead in the past and recently built a bar so this is perfect. Looks better than the fermenters and kegs i used then. Hope it tastes as good as it looks👍
I also don’t like to think I’ve left any malt in the bottle so I keep it somewhere warm (airing cupboard) and stand it in some hot water prior to pouring it in, this makes it more runny. Like I keep telling my partner “I don’t like waste “, especially beer 😁. Excellent system.👌

That said, sometimes I want a shorter brew day and I do take measures to achieve that. But I'd love to have a couple Pinters...three or four if I had room. Probably the most informative and well shot video about the Pinter on RUclips. Thank you. I've requested to join the Facebook group as well. How are you getting on, 2 months on after your first brew? I started my IPA brew on Boxing Day. Hoping to give it the full amount of conditioning time.
I was looking at one of these, didn't know it would take so long to brew i'm sure I seen it say it takes 24 hours somewhere on the website either way i'm waiting for them to bring out a strawberry and lime cider like kopparberg before I purchase one, and if its any good i may buy a second one so we can have them in rotation or have them both for a big covid free party when the time comes!. thanks for a great in depth review of the process and the humour helped too.
Ah, thank you. With regards to the 24 hour brewing, I can't imagine anything being able to brew that quickly. If you're into your ciders, we recently tried the Dark Fruits and it was sensational. It's won awards too. Would highly recommend if that's what you're in to. 👍🏻
Great vid. Just wish you'd reviewed the Pilsner! Everyone is reviewing the IPA or APA! Buying one for my dad for Christmas, then if I like it as much as I think I will, getting one for myself.
@@ronaldcrump942 thanks for the heads up. My mate ordered one but it got returned due to a crack in it. I like the design of the keg thing but could you use it and add cheaper ingredients?
Just go to your local home brew shop and buy proper equipment that lasts years. You'll also save money immediatly and get 40 pints. Throwing away the "dock's" liquid = throwing away about 10 good yeast starter. No disrespect intended I bet it's great if you're rich. Does it include instructions on cleaning the dock and spigot? And do you still have it and use it after 10 months?
What about the cost of the unit? The cost per refill inclusive of any ancillary costs? What does the cost work out to per unit? How does it compare in terms of cost and quality when compared to alternatives, such as home brew kits or just purchasing those 10 pint kegs from a supermarket? I get the fact that you like the product and the beer, but I haven't got any feel for any details beyond that.
Oh how terrible. 😂😂😂 Cheers buddy. I'm hoping for a V2 with some form of refrigeration but that would no doubt up the cost. As it is, it's a steal if say. 👍🏻
Thanks as connecting the brew dock as per Greatergood from the top ,would not work for me, connecting your way with dock at bottom and lowering pinter onto it worked no problem, cheers
It's a lot larger than I realised, I'm very tempted but as a uni student with limited fridge space it'd pretty much mean I'd have no space to put food (Idek if it'd fit in my current fridge tbh) which is really gutting. Wonder if they'll make a mini pinter or something like that in the future since unfortunately I just don't think I'd be able to get one atm. Maybe in a year or two when I've got a bigger fridge to myself.
Ah, that's a shame. Although, if I think back to my Uni days, I don't remember much food in the fridge. 🙈😂 For what it's worth, front to back with tap on is 38cm 🤞🏻👍🏻

Enjoyed the review only thing would of been nice was a price comparison for the machine and for a pint but I guess I can go and google that :) . This could be something I'm interested in to complement my Perfect Draft machine.
Thanks Stu. I make a point of not mentioning prices generally as these are subject to change, regardless of what you're reviewing and a price mention can date the review and invalidate even a part of it quite quickly. That's why there's a link in the description and why I mentioned it a few times in the video. Up to date prices are a click away. No need to have to go looking for it. 👍🏻
OK so this an extract brewing with no boil and no temperature control. Well to be honest any experienced brewer armed with as much as a bucket 🪣 can achieve the same results.
For what it's worth, it doesn't fit in ours as you can see from the video and in all honesty, taking it out and setting it down for an hour or so to settle hasn't been a massive deal. Also, it's plenty cold if kept out for a few hours' session. Just make sure to turn back the dial when you've poured to avoid losing all carbonation.
Fuuuck. I just bought the Sub as a present but this looks like it's a bit more involved with a longer waiting time. Looks cracking and the price is great.
Yeah, you really can't knock it for the price. The waiting time, I feel, is part of the charm and it is a 'more involved' experience, I've got to say. Can not recommend it highly enough.
Hey, I've just got rid of it, otherwise you could have had it. I got it off FB marketplace I'm afraid. It was originally mahogany where the white bits are but I painted it instead. Sorry about that.

Great review. I have one the same colour as yours and did the IPA first, followed by the pilsner.
Good ole 3.5 gal bucket works for me.
@@MusingOfaMan Thanks for the feedback. I'm coming back shortly to subscribe enjoyed the way you did the review :)
OK so this an extract brewing with no boil and no temperature control. Well to be honest any experienced brewer armed with as much as a bucket 🪣 can achieve the same results.
Great review, thanks. Could you please tell me the length of the unit, I just want to check my fridge to see if it will take it.
38cm clearance need mate. Including the tap when fitted. Don't forget to allow for part on the fridge door that will push inside when closed. 👍🏻
Mine turned up today! So buzzing.
Great Job
Thank you. 🙏🏻👍🏻
wanty mcwant want - not sure how this will fit under the 'I should drink less' idea , but.....
@Musing Of A Man how did your pilsner turn out? I’m brewing that now
Turned out well to be fair. If go for longer conditioning times with any lager but yeah, it was lovely and a firm fave in the groups.
Fuuuck. I just bought the Sub as a present but this looks like it's a bit more involved with a longer waiting time. Looks cracking and the price is great.
Yeah, you really can't knock it for the price. The waiting time, I feel, is part of the charm and it is a 'more involved' experience, I've got to say. Can not recommend it highly enough.
how do you keep carbonation levels consistent as you pour towards your final pint?
Hi cool video, can you tell me where you got your desk from? (Sorry for been off topic) 🍻
Hey, I've just got rid of it, otherwise you could have had it. I got it off FB marketplace I'm afraid. It was originally mahogany where the white bits are but I painted it instead. Sorry about that.
@@MusingOfaMan blimey that was a quick reply 💥 I am in the market for a desk for my metal detecting / RUclips room but struggling but yours looked real nice and quality. Thanks for getting back to me, and great video by the way big lover of a nice hazey IPA here. Been considering trying to brew my own for a whileb🍻
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire ha. I was on my phone at the time. Sorry I couldn't help. If you're considering brewing at home, this is a great way to get into it. 👍🏻
@@MusingOfaMan I am considering it when we move house amd I have more space. Cheers mate
Does anyone know if you can collect and wash the yeast after the dock is released???
Too bad they don’t deliver outside UK, looks like an awesome product
Hopefully they'll expand soon. 🤞🏻
Fantastic review. Certainly got my interest in this.
One question if I may, how long does the beer remain cold in the Pinter, please?
I’m not a fan of warm beer
Thank you. 🙏🏻 The longest we had it out of the fridge was about 3 hours and was still more than cold enough.
Appreciate the reply. Thank you.
Off to measure the beer fridge to see if it can live in there 🤣
Great review thanks 👍 just one question how long does it stay cold for out of the fridge. I have had lots of mini kegs before for my homebrew but found that they stop pouring a good point when not really cold❄️❄️.
Personally, I had it out of the fridge for 2-3 hours at a time and I didn't notice any change in temp. Hope that helps.
Brilliant review!
Just bought one..... Thanks to you! Eeeek!
Ah, good for you. Welcome to the club. Make sure you get in the FB group too. 👍🏻
