Just brewed my first batch, West Coast IPA, Shared it with a bunch of friends, My God My God, it was so clean, refeshing and tasty, I'm all in, sending for another cast, great video and thanks for making it funny.
From one baldy to another, this was the best review I've seen for this product. I have actually ordered one and looking forward to getting amongst it. Great video have subscribed.
great little video, I brew myself using 5 litre Mini kegs system which works for me, but will look at this system as I like the smaller batch of beer idea, look forward to the cider one ..... well done Baldy
Cheers! I enjoyed using this and it worked well. Guessing I won't be as lucky every time. And me being a proper amateur at brewing, probably a lot is down to luck! 😂 Maybe this takes a lot of the risk out of it though! Looking forward to the cider as well! Have a top weekend! 👍🍻
On sale now for $49 shipped with two beer packs. Couldn't resist. Picked up a spare Pinter for another $49 (without the base) to cut down on wait time.
Looks like the Pinter 3 is coming to the US! I am still debating whether to get one. Wondering if it will having staying power and be around in a few years.
Hi Baldy, great review. Ive considered buying a Pinter in the past. Issue i have is its alot of 'production' for not much beer.nif we were looking at 10 litres + id be more sold. Also, i'd like it if you could customise your beer, so it was/is more bespoke to you. As opposed to someone elses recipe. I think its a great idea, but is more a novelty!!!
Yeah, I see what you mean. I guess you could still use the Pinter for your own creations though, or even add something to some of the more basic recipes! Personally wouldn't have a clue so won't though! 😂 Hope you're well chap! 👍🍻
Hey Baldy. Been a follower of yours for ages. This was a great review. I’m a PD guy with a pair of sub cold fridges to keep me kegs pre chilled. My question is how have you kept this cold. Was it in your bar the whole time you left it after brewing? What was the temp like when you came back 5 days later ?
Cheers! I've got a sub cold fridge in the bar as well, so this is where I would usually keep it. That said, when I tapped this it was only 5 degrees in my bar and it was reaycold for a couple of days, so it was fine to just be left out. I'd keep it in the subcold usually though 👍🍻
It's obviously a lot more work and there are storage considerations. But if you can overcome those two things, this can be a winner! Like you say PD kegs are expensive! 👍🍻
Baldy you have to try affligem on the blade also zipfer gosser and lagunitas even the Heineken is excellent, currently enjoying a hertog grand Pilsner 👍
Good vid thanks, How is the alcohol content of the beer? , do you feel you are getting the full 5%.Have thought about the pinter before but my worry about buying this is getting watered down juice.
Yeah, that's a good question! Not sure it did quite taste 5% would be interesting to measure it! It was a cracking tasting beer though, so not too bothered! 👍🍻
Great video! My wife and I just ordered one for us to brew here in the US. Can't wait to try it out! How did the bottling work out? Did it still taste as good or close? Cheers!🍻
Thanks! Hope you get some good brews! 5 of the 6 bottles tasted just as good. The 6th was probably 3 weeks after bottling, not sure if that made a difference 🤷 but generally really good! Needed those carbonation drops though I think! They all had just the right carbonation! 👍🍻
All right baldy don't know what I am doing wrong but just can't seem to pore a pint just now with out getting a big head on it just now dose not matter what keg on never used to have this problem would like your feedback
Always with checking the pipe, make sure your glass is 45 degrees on the pour and pour it as close to the glass as possible with touching it. Make sure it's down to temperature as well! Go full down with the handle as well. The first pour is always lively, but should be ok after that!
Yeah how did the bottling go? Got a Pinter 3, and was not too impressed with my first brew. Brewing the big DIPAat the minute so hopefully will be better
I want to get this as a gift for my father he lover beer like most people he in summer drink corona beer, stella. Would this be a suitable replacement for him to try and is it worth leaving in machines or going the extra route to bottle it
If he'd get some enjoyment out of brewing it as well he'd love it! Depends how long it'll take you to drink it and how long you want to keep it in your fridge, if you've got space for it! Bottling it isn't easy, but obviously gives you longer! 👍🍻
I've the same Pinter, i found the different lagers and ipa's i brewed all had the same taste and smell so stopped it but another Pinter channel i follow says theres been an change so hopefully they're better.
I just started a space hopper in my pinter 3 I hope it is good because I got a promotion to get a free pinter if i ordered 200 dollars worth of pinter packs. I will be doing the hazy IPA next
It looks like a lot of work for a few beers. And it is really a good deal? At £1.70 to £2.20 a pint and the work needed, i am sure i can get better for the same money or less from the supermarket. Then its the space it takes up in the fridge for 5 days. Good video i think i will stick with what i know 👍
@BigBaldReviews I got the same bottles and carbonation drops so just one table and leave outa the fridge for 5 days or can it go in the fridge right away
Pinter is rubbish the failure rate is 50% and what your brew tastes awful lets face it it brewing beer was that easy brewery’s would be a thing of the past anyone want a couple of p3 ?

I have been thinking about bottling from the Pinter as well, how did it go? Any tips you can spare?
I’m new the channel, love it 🫡

Yes, I've seen this! Think it's still early to say, but they've certainly made a good go of it in the UK so far! 👍🍻
Waiting to see the Pinter / cider review. This video 👍👍
Currently being brewed! 👍🍺👍

Great review! You have a new subscriber! Greetings from USA! 🇺🇲
Interesting content 🙂. I have been considering getting A Pinter 3 for a while. I need to try this, as Perfect Draft kegs are good, but expensive

Haven't got a blade yet fella!
Will hopefully be trying a few sub torps soon though! 👍🍻

We talking Pinter or PerfectDraft fella?
The old perfect draft

Went ok! Tasted good as well!
Hope the DIPA turns out well! 👍🍻

you got any more brew videos with this system may buy one very soon
can you bottle it into the empty krups torps ????
Will try and do the cider soon!
Now that's an idea! 🤔
So what do you do with the carbonation button on the back once the beer is brewed?
You can turn it down to release some of the pressure and reduce carbonation 👍🍺
I've the same Pinter, i found the different lagers and ipa's i brewed all had the same taste and smell so stopped it but another Pinter channel i follow says theres been an change so hopefully they're better.
Well I'm hoping the cider won't taste the same otherwise there's something wrong! 😉👍🍻
Is it possible to fill it with homebrew add a carb tablet and dispense ok
I've no idea to be honest 👍🍻
I just started a space hopper in my pinter 3 I hope it is good because I got a promotion to get a free pinter if i ordered 200 dollars worth of pinter packs. I will be doing the hazy IPA next
Hope it is good then!
Is that a US only promotion? 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews I'm in the US so probably.
I just ordered one
Would you use tap water or actual drinking water
I just used drinking water! 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews cheers mate

Fair comments chap! There's a fair bit to do!
Going to try a few more, see how I get on 👍🍻
Yeah but a pint at a pub it what now?.. £439.94 now 😂😂 so £1.70 a pint if it's as good as draft as tippy tappy top man says it's well worth it!
Really interesting. Would love to see how well it does with a clear beer as "hazy" can hid a multitude of sins
That's a very good point!
I'll get hold of a lager! 👍🍻
It looks like the teletubbie hoover!
🤣🤣🤣 brilliant!
How did the bottled beers turn out? I fear they may have exploded.
No explosion! Was all good! 👍🍻
@BigBaldReviews I got the same bottles and carbonation drops so just one table and leave outa the fridge for 5 days or can it go in the fridge right away
I hope it fits in my mini fridge
Looks like a right faf, I'll stick with the PB for now.
It's a lot more work, but if you're prepared to put the effort in, it's worth a blast!
Was impressed with the results! 👍🍻
No need for carbonation drops just half tspoon sugar.
We need to see some badly bread with the turn next time
Would like to give that a go fella! 👍🍻

Cheers! I enjoyed using it. Obviously makes it easier for anyone to be able to have a go themselves 👍🍻
