    My only issue with the P2's has been the tap which was difficult to get a decent pour from so this is a welcome upgrade but I hope there will be a discount for everyone that already has the P2, similar to when P2 came out, I got a discount for owning and returning my P1's

    Look forward to seeing the pricing for both and if a trade-in for older Pinters will be offered

      Would also be very interested Ina trade in scheme. Hopefully they can make it a priority. Eco friendly beer being a selling point, doesn't mean much if landfill is full of old pinters.

    **cut to 2024**
    ‘introducing the new Pinter 4’ - ‘we listened to all of of your feedback on Pinter 3 and……’
    Had 2 Pinter 1s and 2 Pinter 2s, not going through all this again. Or ever.

    Thank you for the video, looking forward to the new tap, had issues with the PInter 2 tap, however it does do the Job once get used to it and being patient and docks on both pinter 1 and 2 are a pain to attach etc. again they still work. I been a pinter owner for 2 years now, only 1 complete failure, My 2 year old Pinter 1 has now completly broke (total loss of press). got 1x Pinter 1 and 2x Pinter 2.1 in use still( 1 replaced due to hopper valve failure). overall over 95% success rate for me, so happy if get near 100%.Keep up the good work, looking forward to the improvements of the PINTER 3.

    Love the concept which is why I bought 2 pinter 1s. I've found customer service to be good (I've had a pinter and a dock replaced as they broke) but the truth is that quality of the pinters has been very poor. My pinters have become ridiculously difficult to attach to the dock and combined with the big hike in the price of presses I've given up and cancelled my subscriptions. P3 looks great but its all too expensive now to be worthwhile.

    Well Greg, I have to say, 1st impressions look good and looks like you may have finally nailed it. As an owner of 5 x Pinter 2's (3 x Pinters, 2 x Subs all upgraded) my biggest headache has been the tapping system, especially when friends are round and use it only to gush beer everywhere!!
    I hope you (The Pinter Team) will consider an exchange / upgrade offer for us at some point to a discounted Pinter 3, or at least in the meantime, a free tap or two to try for those like myself who have invested heavily with you in the past. Great video btw!.....Rgds Derek

    Looks like you've solved all of the foibles from the 2.1 - can't wait. Well done!

    You added knurling to the handle! I'm so happy I could cry, or wait for my current brew to finish and have a beer...
    Thank you, thank you, thank you! My prayers have been answered 🙏🏼

    It looks very good guys. I’ll wait for Pinter 4 though. I’ve already got 3 P2’s and 2 P1’s
    Whilst I have you attention. We don’t actually need this just yet. We need;
    More IPA’s
    More variation of beers available NOW.
    Yeastie Beers
    Last month I looked at my subscription, and you guys have barely any beers in stock.
    All that money spent on the Yeastie Boyz collab, what’s happened to that? It’s a license to print money.
    You can have Pinter 3,4, and 5 but, if there’s nawt to put in them, what’s the point?
    I’ve got a thirst boys. Sell me more beers.

    I still have a Pinter 2 that I can’t use as never got the date to exchange it after the recall. Had 4 fresh press beers go off as a result so not in a rush to get a Pinter 3… unless there is a trade in scheme offered, that might incentivise me…

    Previous Pinters have suffered from poor quality control, safety and durability issues. Hopefully these have all been addressed, but not going to be an early adopter, I’ll watch with interest and see how other’s fare this time round.

      Having now seen first hand experience a friend has had testing a P3 independently it looks like Pinter have nailed the design of the P3 with the added bonus that the tap is backwards compatible.

    I have two Pinter 2s and both were upgraded. Can’t get the docking station on, yet when I emailed the help team with pictures etc, was basically told to keep persevering with it. With the amount of different versions and upgrades someone might think that this wasn’t ready for market when released.

      Antony a squirt of purifier on it or some food grade silicon grease does the job on mine when I am struggling to get it to dock.

    Its worrying to see so many negative experiences of which I share. But the main concern for me is the beer. The yeastie boys colab was decent but was only able to order 1 before it sold out, more of that please. The rest is just meh.

    You guys need to do a much better job of keeping fresh press packs IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP. In the US you have 14 different brews listed on the site and you are OUT OF STOCK OF 12 OF THEM.

  • @oneman1960

    I regret buying Pinter1 - should have waited. Was never convinced that the stated ABVs were delivered and had taste issues with many brews (over yeasty) so there's a whole ton of trial and error that you need to go through that was glossed over in the slick marketing. Yep buyer beware.

  • @OnePaulRoberts
    @OnePaulRoberts Год назад +3

    The design of Pinter 1 was appalling. I bought two and both brewing docks have snapped in the exact same place - meaning both are now completely useless. I'd be amazed if any user testing went into the design because it just isn't fit for purpose. Can't help but feel a bit ripped off, especially because they've released Pinter 2 and now 3 in quick succession - basically acknowledging they released the first one way too soon.

    • @OnePaulRoberts
      @OnePaulRoberts Год назад +1

      @@fresh_beer I contacted the email address and they've said there is absolutely nothing they can or will do - effectively leaving me with two useless Pinters that I may as well take down the tip. I will now be looking elsewhere for my home brewing requirements. You have just lost a customer. For good.

    Shame you don’t seem to bother investing any money into quality control or durability of materials. Innovative products with piss poor quality.

    It has to be better than Pinter 2 which has been absolutely useless. Not managed to get one brew and pour satisfactory. Actually cancelled my subscription as it was a waste of time and money and beer was better in Pinter 1!
