The boys narration was actually Jabalpuriyan style most of the local people living in Jabalpur speak like that only 😀 ,, I know that because Iam from Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh.. and Bhedaghat is one of the most beautiful waterfall you would ever see.. ,😀

The most fascinating part for me was when they shared the story of how they helped the eloped couple, collecting money among them and paying for their food and transport. These young boys show maturity beyond their years.

They hardly earn 50 rupees a jump but when that boy and girl needed help, they put in money from their own pockets to aid them back to their homes. You don't get to say someone is not good enough when they are not trained, given nutrition, rehabbed on injury, provided financial support via sponsorship etc. If someone is good enough at the national level or having innate talent, they should be nurtured. This is where India has failed that even small/poor countries like Cuba have achieved. India's curse is that talented people are governed by selfish, myopic politicians; have parents who are struggling to survive and the public who care more about cinema than nurturing talent. So next time, you say they are not good enough, understand why their talent(raw material) is wasted.

I was also a cliff jumper in my village of Sherkot, bijnor. We used to jump from the Dam into the ramganga river. Diving teaches you discipline, importance of hardwork, and dedication. My parents and relatives were against me since people used to die there but it made me into a better human, i go on to study at an IIM, doing internship now in BPCL. Since that was not a tourist place, no one used to pay us. But we did it out of our own interest. I recommend government support for divers. I wanted to make career into it but it requires huge money to pursue professional diving or cliff jumping in india.

I have mixed emotions, awed by the creative ways people try to sustain themselves, or saddened by the young kids risking their lives for 50 Rs.
Dear Makers of the video,
Did you try to rope in the local authorities, so that we could promote " cliff jumping" in an safe and innovative manner, with authorities making sure of the safety net. We could make these whole tourist spot more integrated. We can generate revenue out of tourism which could be spend on improving the place, deploying safety guides ( i remember being hell scared at one waterfall i visited coz of slippery stones)promoting small shops selling indegineous handicrafts and other items/ services akin to a waterfall site, be it providing adequate changing rooms, selling swimming trunks and all. In this way, these guys can perform their stunts safely and would not be betting their life away for a 50 Rs.
You are well intentioned, however the makers of the video are merely messengers who's responsibility is towards bringing you interesting content and not towards betterment of existing circumstances.
Whatever you said is absolutely correct, but it will take a lot of money to do so much and that too will be possible only when the attention of the great politicians of our country will go there, by the way, your idea is right once if it is made a tourist attraction site, then people living there will get a lot of help but it'll take time & I hope ek din esa hee ho jaesa kee ap chahte ho...

I went here few years ago and it was just before the monsoon and it was probably the last week of boating as it's not allowed during monsoon. There were kids near the boats and they would come up to us and ask us to throw money in the water and they challenged us that they would find it and bring it back to show us but the money would belong to them once they find it. It was so mesmerizing and I couldn't stop throwing money and every time they would find it and bring it back. The water was also very deep and still they were able to find it. Later I ended up giving them more money. This can truly happen only in India.
I am from this city, badly missing my bhedaghat and dhuadhaar moments, wish I could be a part of this video and would be sharing my part of the story..
