I like the video, but I never understand the need to grind off those rivets on the back. Care to explain? I have a 2002 CR250 that I am going to soon be putting a full hinson clutch kit in.
Once you remove the backing plate you will have access to/remove the clutch hub gear (4:40). This part is swapped, along with the primary gear (5:00) onto the new Hinson basket. Good luck!
Feels about the same honestly. Its more for durability. If anything, after I changed the plates and springs it has a harder pull because the springs are stiffer lol..

Do you think the hydraulic clutch lever system would help the pull? Has anybody tried it?
