You would be blasting large amounts of oxygen onto the fire, essentially fanning it. Anything strong enough to put out the person would (exageration) tear them apart.
yes it's called airblast, but you use the actual gas of the flamethrower highly compressed and realesed on your enemy to blast them away, he could be right becouse if the gas "toutch" the flames it would end up making a big flame burst and... if the flamethrower's quality is as bad as those w+m1, the burst of the "air"blast could ignite the gas in the flamethrower's container, ending up with the flame throwe blowing in pyro's hands :)
John Henderson it's not oxygen. It's whatever fuel the flamethrower runs on. Something along the lines of propane I would imagine.
Meaned using oxygen from spine tank, but since beta Valve is lazy to restore air-hose.

Did you know barrels actually don't explode on impact with a bullet? It's just something hollywood wants us to think. Mythbusters actually busted this
Not Papyrus wouldn't the velocity of the bullet (on impact) cause friction burns?
+Smallie Cheese It really depends on what is in the barrels. If it is a shock-sensitive explosive, like nitroglycerin, it would easily explode from an impact. If it is simply a flammable liquid, which is strongly implied most of the time, it would not explode from a bullet. The bullet would not cause much friction because it wouldn't really be rubbing on anything, and even so, any friction that would be caused would not set it on fire.
If the bullet and barrel were made out of specific materials, and the bullet hit the barrel in an extremely specific way (that would never happen with a normal gun under normal circumstances) that would cause sparks, and the barrel had a leak, so that vapor from the liquid was able to contact those sparks, you might be able to get an explosion.
TL;DR: If the stuff in the barrel is a flammable liquid like we're led to believe, it wouldn't explode from being shot.

Spy's sappers would only short out the building, not destroying it, until it catches fire. And engineer can't remove the sappers with anything, including his wrench, because he'd be in for a shock!

Myth busters proved that barrels can’t explode when shot. So technically this is unrealistic.
Although if the barrel was previously filled with and explosive substance (say gasoline) and is now empty or almost empty (like with less than a quarter) then the gases would build up, creating an explosive barrel.
Or you could just fill the barrel with nitro glycerin.

Be polite, be efficient, and never remove a key part of your outfit
1) Demo would have no depth perception. (Good luck landing pills with one eye.)
2) Dispensers would have very limited healing/ammo. (Just launching scrap metal at allies?)
3 )Demo and soldier could use the gym and work on their cardio to run as fast as the scout.
4) A wooden shield for the demoman would not protect you from fire and explosions, and could actually amplify the damage from shrapnel and a fuel-source for the fire.
5) The intelligence could be burned, soaked in water, and look at how many pages fly out of the open case when it is picked up.
6) Heavy would have serious health issues from eating sandviches and chocolate
7) What do the other classes eat/drink in battle and not die from starvation and thirst?
8) People could steal weapons from ANY corpse (Imagine a spy with a sticky-jumper)
9) The B.A.S.E. jumper would need a wider chute and a longer-fall to properly work, not to mention the hole in it.
10) You could go out of the map very easily (Unless fall damage of course.)

Well, they don't need to die to be neutralized. You can also cripple them bad enough so they are no longer able to fight.
About the backstab thing: the enemy has around 15 seconds after you land a backstab on him before he dies due to either a broken spine, completely destroyed neural system, heart attack or brain damage.

Maybe, but pointless. The Axtinguisher would do regular damage, in other words... reskin of stock. Before you rain hate on me (or not)... think about it.
Unfair (to some) but what if even the tiniest rock, or soda can or bottle would actually effect your movement. (You might trip and fall, roll on it and gain a slight boost (if you land on both feet that is))
10x, 20, 40, 50, 100, 200, 500 and more servers would be unplayable. Why? Recoil of course. And the rapid movement of the weapons would damage you or even rip off limbs leaving you crippled, uuuuuuuuuuuuntil you run into spawn (somehow, if you have no legs after a certain incident) and "heal" yourself like nothing ever even happened.

@@dontno6681 Actually, Jarate could either a) Injure the other player via blunt trauma since its, yknow, a *jar*, and b) if it actually manages to shatter considering how thick the glass looks, the glass could also cut them up a bit. You could also get pee in their eyes, and it's still very much flammable.

The syringe gun is probably a one hit kill. If it really is a rapid fire dart gun then even one syringe could load a person full of tranquilizers, poisons or just air to give someone a heart attack.

1) Engineer can make more sentries, dispensers, teleporters.
2) engine is smart enough to make a mech suit
3) the propane tank that the pyro has can and will explode, if shot by a bullet
4) a class can switch to a different role ( like scout to demo )
5) all classes have dark and light color skins

No it wont blow up. It will just leak. If he used fire rounds the barrel will just leak out burning it won't blow up. There is no oxygen in the barrel.
It can actually happen if you shoot a barrel the pressure of the bullet can explode due to it trying to let air flow in so cause this co2 like explosions so there is your proof also if you don’t have evidence than it won’t help
