Fun fact. Brian Jordan played for the MLB and NFL with the Atlanta Falcons.
Oh that's right. I completely forgot about that.
Jordan was good on Falcons too! Big body in the Secondary. Nevar forgit: Jesse Tuggle is the most underrated player in the history of the league. He only went to the Pro Bowl EVERY YEAR.
EDIT: had "all star game", changed to "pro bowl"
this was great, what an amazing "pack"... how cool that they talked about knuckleballers and then Wakefield appears.
I appreciate Liz's pacing-- some folks race thru the cards and refuse to let the jokes happen.
As a kid: Saturday morning cartoons
As an adult with wife and kids: Saturday morning Soder
Yeeeesssss!
Do yall really have to say the same frigging thing every week... like you somehow cracked the code, but you're merely plagiarizing some OG comments
That was an INSANE pull of cards. Tripping over All-Stars left and right.
Soder pod + regz pod = the 2 best pods
O Doyle rules
Was friends with Walt Weiss’ son growing up. Walt coached our youth football team. House was insane
Sick
She's fricking stunning😮
Maybe she’ll see this and give you her number
@@busykeys7444 highly doubtful 🤣 I was just making a statement, not trying to simp over the poor lady
Looks too much like a psycho I dated for like a month (but much prettier and with a better rack) and it's ruining it for me.
She's mine...lay off
I don’t even know baseball and I knew wade Boggs bahahaha. Thanks sunny!
Love getting up early for my Saturday morning card-toons👍
Great interview AND great card pulls!!!! Liz killed it
HellYeah Danny Sodes! It’s card day🤘🤘🤣🔥🔥🔥
What's up with the star level on those first pulls? Hard to believe as a forever burned kid wasting his allowance on sports card collecting.
EDIT: And Mattingly?!
This might be one of the best chunks of cards yet. Some real bangers
10:47 sodes taking a shot at Shane and his simp zyn addiction!😂
“Are you a sports?” 😂
how did they just gloss over the fact she mentioned knuckleballers before hand and she pulls tim wakefield?? what are the chances!
10:29 “Big Chief!! *sniffs pouch*
THE BEST!!” 😂
I really didn't expect my fandoms of Liz Miele and Baseball to ever intersect 😂
Knuckleball is an incredible documentary 👌🏻
Best card pull pack on this pod ever!
Wow!!! Thank you for making and sharing these!!!
This may be my favorite episode 😂😂😂 you guys were hilarious here😂😂😂
best pulls I've seen so far.
About 1/3 of the hundreds of baseball cards I inherited are wade Boggs
Yesss this is my exact era of cards. My dad had a bag of these high up in the pantry for good rewards. He forgot about them and we didnt know he even had more. Found them one day and he let us rip them all. It was glorious.
whipping up a nice meal and hearing my name is the worst name ever LOL
I never miss her Toronto shows !
I like to save these for monday when i eat lunch in my car! Soder rules 🤘
lol they kinda stuck together, is that the “crusty” ones?
😂😂😂
Shout out to the No Gary's Crew!
"Are you a sports?"
- Dan Soder
Liz is hilarious! So quick on her feet.
Walt Weiss. Great guy. Never met him.😂
T-shirt idea Dan. "Are you a sports?" Good way to find someone to talk to at a stuffy gathering.
Great commentary by Liz 😄
The Chicken Man himself Wade Boggs?! 😎
I've never seen Dan as high as when the camera moves in to "Ooooo that stacked! Can't you see that stache!" 😂😂😂
Happy card day fellas
Let’s go Sodes!
OK this is what I thought I'd clicked when I hit the main interview again tonight.
Jeff King couldn't stand playing baseball to the point once he qualified for his pension (10 years in the MLB), he retired.
Wow Id like to hear that story
Bring back our sonics!! Thanks for the s/o soder
I used to deliver food to the Wakefields, super nice folks RIP. Major condolences to their kid, losing both parents so close together.
This is easily the most loaded pack
King Stache 😂😂😂
even if i skip the episode i always watch the card bonus, fave part of the pod
Uncle Dan is the man!!
When she said disease I lost it haha
This is an all timer pack. So many good players. Also butt muscle for forearms is hilarious.and I will be stealing that saying
Late 90s baseball was the shit!
Brian Jordan played in the MLB and NFL. He gave up the NFL for MLB when the Cards brought him up in 1992. He was an allstar in 1999 when he was traded to the Braves.
OMG… Liz Miele in a dress!! Never seen before😂😂
Saturday morning cards with soder, all the dawgs assemble- you gotta do one of these live sometime 🙏
Brian Jordan played in the NFL as well. He was an All Star too if I’m not mistaken.
Playing Triple Play baseball in the 90’s really helps with recalling these guys
I like how Dan said “he started a mean big and tall store” as if it was a lie 😂😂😂😂
Her laugh is 🌞 ☀️
Rest in peace Sid Justice 💔 He had "hallf the brain" but twice the heart. My guy
Shoutoout to the cowboy Jeff Brantley. Color commentator for the Reds.
Dan the man! 😂
Holy shit what a pack
Most collectors would be screaming at this pack each pull was wow
Probably best overall cards pulled
What a stack!!
She got great cards! Good laugh
ray lankford and brian jordan! the cardinals fan in me is geeked
You're just gonna pass over Knoblauch getting the yips? Palmiero broke my heart when we found out he was hardcore juicing. Liz is adorable.
boggs was a knuckleball pitcher too!
She's such a hoot to listen to
Walt Weiss did not in fact play for the New York Giants, as they moved to San Francisco in 1958.
Did play fro the Oakland A's though
Have Mike McDaniel on. Also, please tell him they need an O-line for fucks sake. Thanks. 😎
Carlos Baerga is a Cleveland Legend!
Let me get those ripkens Dan!! My dads favorite player he was at the record breaking and his final game
Strongest deck yet. Baerga was good
She is fun!
Damn she’s gorgeous ❤
Keep your pants on
Great pack of cards!!
Stinker in the outfield, hilarious
Chris Hoiles should not be in the scrub pile. He had 151 home runs and a .262 career batting average. Guy hit 2 grand slams in one game. Keeper pile material all day 👍🏽
What a wild pack. Bunch of bombers
hilariously good pack lmaooooo wow
Chris Hoiles was Catcher for O's in part of Cal Jr era. He was a monster at the plate and could not be run on. He played with Palmeiro. Cal and Billy Ripken, Brady Anderson, Roberto Alomar and many other stars. Big ole country boy who could just flat out play and most fans wouldn't recognize him going to his car after the game. Humble, let the big stars take spotlight whole career. But for a several year stretch, he WAS THE BEST BALLPLAYER BY FAR ON THAT SQUAD! I grew up in Annapolis, Md; 30 minutes south of Baltimore and have seen over 1000 games at Camden Yards from '92, when it opened with Rick Sutcliffe pitching a damn near no hitter, until I moved away from Md in 2016. This year they have the best young hitters in baseball, but second worse bullpen currently. Typical O's .LOFL!! Last Played in Series in '83; Cal's rookie of the year, AL MVP and World Series MVP welcome to the Big Leagues No Nerves showing expedition! Watched them at 33rd St Memorial Stadium back then until the Yard opened. Love your Podcast, quick wit, impressions and that's why you and Michael Blaustein are my 2 favorite comedians! Rare inner talent, brains upstairs besides showbiz stuff, never settle on your Entertainment or hold back during performances, and you both never fail to leave me laughing out loud with intellectual, dry witted humor mixed with ELITE TALENT, IMPRESSIONS AND NO FEAR OR APOLOGY FOR WHAT YOU GUYS ARE! I live on Mississippi Gulf Coast and you both should schedule tour stops here in Biloxi. There are several world class Casinos with Elegant Showrooms and options; as well as the Coliseum that seats thousands and one of the few survivors of hurricane Katrina. Love ya Dan! Keep rollin' Pimp! Big Fan, Chris...... I just discovered you last year. Thank the Internet and Shane Gillis! OH YEAH, A FUN MLB FACT FOR YA, THE EXPOS DID NOT DIE AND DISAPPEAR!!!! THEY ARE NOW THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS!
It's almost football season !
What a pack!
She god so many sick cards !!
So cute, that one. Dang. Full crush.
The cards know all, Soddy Soder
TIL there's a designated hitter in the NL now. Haven't watched baseball in years.
@11:45 - I'm only 31 and I am so ready to go full white lol. My buddies are using Just For Men and I just don't understand why when dudes look cool as hell with salt and pepper or full white
What were the qualifications to be a Tops card photographer? i think i missed a career calling
Love you Daddy Dan. You look cute still.
Didn’t Chuck Knoblauch end up getting the yips and couldn’t throw to first?
Ya, he hit Keith Olberman's mom in the head when she was sitting in the stands behind 1B
I hate baseball and even I would immediately say "this Boggs card is definitely coming home with me."
That Stache that surrounds you
Boggs had to be doing blow while drinking over 60 beers.
and he was on a ton of testosterone too. your body is
not surviving 162 game seasons while being a severe alcoholic without it
Liz should go play the lottery after this pack
Big Ray Langford guy over here
it's crazy how nobody is talking about the banned ebook Magnetic Aura
No mention of Knoblock's yips? Towards end of his career he was unable to throw from 2nd base to 1st. All mental
