I always recommend using 100% silicone for movement joints
It last much longer than any acrylic matching caulks

Start out small with cutting caulking tube, you can always cut bigger if having trouble filling joints 👍

Caulk before you even install the tile, when you install your backer board/waterproof board, etc. Then be done with it. Been doing it this way for over 30 years.

Finally for someone to mention this. It is definitely easier to apply silicone before grouting the rest of the project. Does that EZ spray make a difference Steve, vs windex or soapy&water? 👀 In my experience only product/silicone brand I am using made a difference.

It is better but not game changing. It’s a finer mist that does a better job of evenly apply solution to the caulk. I’ll most likely always use it over Windex now

If you use a window cleaner before tooling the caulk it won't stick to anything else but where you want the caulk. He's using something similar to window cleaner I'm sure.

Do not caulk first. Wet caulk DOES adhere to dry grout but wet grout does NOT adhere to dry caulking.
