Hey love the video!! I was wondering do you keep the clear plastic on when doing this or take it off and apply it on the Acrylic blanks?
So u just do the layer of acrylic on the acrylic keychain and then let set/dry and then print out name on vinyl and place on either side or the side u put resin on?
What kind of Pink do you use from mica powder? Bescause my light pink from mica is much darker.

Yes! Absolutely! I use my Joy everyday. I usually grab that for stickers, labels, vinyl, cards, small projects etc before I even think about getting the other machines out.

You could just use a thin coat of resin

Hi , I want to start making some of this you make it look so easy and pretty . How long do I leave the resin dry ? Also the name goes on the opposite side of the resin ? Thx
It depends on the resin you use but for the resin I use it’s 24 hours. Name can go on either side but the pattern looks better from the other side which is where the vinyl is.

She’s using an acrylic blank... you can get them on Amazon with all if the keychain rings etc included... my favorite size is 1.5” Round but it personal preference

Lumpy? I’ve never had that issue. I usually work fast from mixing.

What is the paper backing you are using on the circle to protect it? I have seen this a lot but not sure what it is.
it is the masking tape that comes with acrylic blanks to protect the finish.
@@DIYCraftTutorials Oh ok. I make my own with resin so I was hoping it was something I could purchase haha. Maybe plain ol masking tape will work for me.

How do you keep resin from getting in the home where the jump ring is for the keychain?
This resin domes so when I get close to the edge, I push alittle resin in and it settles without flooding the hole.

I think it’s an acrylic blank I’ve seen other people use bigger ones and some for keychains. Look on Amazon I think they come protected on both sides and you just pick one to do your art

I thought the resin goes over the vinyl, to help keep it on for long term
If using permanent vinyl you don't have to resin. I usually do seal with resin, however didn't show that step.
