I love that you made this video. I was just curious about this process and if it was possible. I would like to see this again with other htv materials as well. Thank you the video was super helpful.
I have used HTV Glitter on acrylic keychains lots of times. It works so much better then 651 vinyl, especially if your letters are small. Yours looks great too!
That is so great. When I use the HD adhesive vinyl, I get bubbles in it. Tried everything and can't get the bubbles out. I would definitely like to see regular htv and the holographic. What temp and time in the Starcraft clamshell press?
I tried using just regular vinyl and the names came off, do you have to seal it and what kind of sealer would you use. With HTV vinyl would you have to seal that. I just started watching your videos and love your tutorials. Thank you
Hey Leslie! What type of vinyl did you use? It may have been that the writing was thin but we would suggest using a mod-podge sealant to help give your keychain a longer life! If you have any other questions, just ask! We are here to help!
My acrylic keychains had a residue from the heat/sticky part of the vinyl. Do you know how to prevent that? I used heat resistant paper between the mini press and tiles so they wouldn't burn
Hey Melodie! My apologies, would you mind clarifying? While we placed the image on the front of the keychain, you can certainly apply it to the back if you prefer.
Why do all the videos start with the things already printed!!! That's the hardest part. That's what I need a video to show. NOTHING against you. Just frustrated. Even when you pick a design it's huge Spend over 100 bucks on thes subscription and I can't even get a circle cut for the correct size I need for the standard keychains.

No problem! Glad we could help!

@@DesignBundles holographic, regular, siser reflective would be a interesting one too. That's just a few I quickly could think of.
Great tutorial! Yes, please show us if regular HTV will work. Thank you!
Will do!

Yours looks great too!
And I usually put resin on top. So you get the glitter look but it's smooth.
Great tip! Thank you for sharing!
@@DesignBundles You're welcome!
Have a great day!
Definitely going to test it with some of my htv
Let us know how it turns out!
Thanks so much for doing this! I was curious whether it would work and now I want to try it too.
Beautiful project and excellent tutorial!! Thank you Crystal!!

You're welcome, we're always happy to help!
I was looking for this last week
We're always happy to help!
Tried this about a year ago with white glitter htv an it worked.
That's great to hear!
I wonder how it feels on the surface...does it feel smoother than the adhesive? Yes another test on regular htv would be great.
You got it! It does feel a little smoother than the adhesive vinyl.
nice tutorial. thanks.
You're welcome!
That is so great. When I use the HD adhesive vinyl, I get bubbles in it. Tried everything and can't get the bubbles out. I would definitely like to see regular htv and the holographic. What temp and time in the Starcraft clamshell press?
I would keep the temperature the same and do about 10-15 seconds.
Wow good to know!
Yes please do all the other vinyls thank you
Thank you Charlotte!

@@DesignBundles it was cricut vinyl permanent. Thank you
Yes please. Both.
We will add it to our content list!
What was the temperature used
Are your blanks cast acrylic?

Hi there! Could you tell us a bit about the process you did so we can better help troubleshoot? - Dawn
What is the recommended thickness of the acrylic ?
This is great!! I ended up with residual glitter from the transfer tape on the acrylic keychain. How can I prevent that?
Hey there! Were you able to remove the glitter afterwards or did it apply to the keychain as well?
@@DesignBundles The excess glitter would not come off. It's still really pretty!
How do you prevent the htv adhesive from seeping around the edges when applying to acrylic
Hi Elaine! When you are measuring, you want to make sure the design is slightly smaller than the keychain to keep it away from the edges. -Dawn
Thank you
You're welcome !
Does it work with t-shirt htv's? ✨ Thanks for the video!
Yes it does!
Thank you!
How long does it last before pulling? Or is it completely permanent?
It all depends or ware and tear. I have ones I made 3 years ago that have just lost some color
Glitter HTV is always a hot peel. On fabric anyway
Thank you, Rita! - Dawn
What about heating from the back to get to the adhesive?

Totally agree
It’s very simple. Just use the shape function, in this case circle. Then make the words, adjust the size to fit in the shape.
