Did they tell them about the extensive list of drugs Ozzy did.
Jack Wilczynski or a list of things that he did while on all those drugs😂
Seank C1tikal5000 they actually kinda did lmao
Did you know that Tony Iommi lit Bill Ward on fire one time? Bill was stoned and asked him to do it.
Jack Wilczynski it would be a lot easier to give them a list of the drugs he didn't do
That would double the length of the video.
Can you rename this series, "Heres the thing..."
Lol! I may do that.
Or, "Here's The Thing, by John Carpenter!"
Nice.
hey bro, can you post a link to your profile picture? i find it awesome
Idk why Mike saying "lol" is so funny but it is
The story of the song black Sabbath is, ozzy gave geezer butler (the bassist) an old, 15th century book that was written in Latin and had all kinds of drawings of Satan in it. That night, geezer had a bad nightmare that he was visited by a solid black figure staring at him. It scared him so bad that they wrote that song.
Geezer gave ozzy the book
Fucking metal lmao
You have a great profile pic
@Red Nightshade Aren’t all nightmares bad though?
@@zaynes5094 some are worse than others.
Fun fact. Black Sabbath was originally not going to be a metal band. On his last day at work in the metal factory tony had to use a machine he was unfamiliar with and ended up loosing the tips of his fingers. He made his own prosthesis and tuned down to make playing less painful. Hence the sound of metal music was caused in some way by literal metal.
CJRGamingPC yeah we all know tony iommi is metal as fuck
CJRGamingPC I love that story
According to at least Tony and Ozzy, Black Sabbath is not metal. They weren't looking to create a new type of music, and they still believe it's a rock and roll band, and Ozzy considers his solo work to be rock and roll as well.
Whip Lasch, Yeah but technically, they're Heavy Metal but they just don't realize it.
I'm not saying I disagree, but I find it funny that the band considered the heavy metal pioneer doesn't consider themselves metal. I love Black Sabbath. They are my favorite band and I own a black Epiphone SG because of Tony Iommi and when I'm able to, I'm going to upgrade to the actual Gibson SG. This is the band that inspired me to pick up the guitar in the first place.
You may not like AC/DC, but it's still in your head, hahaha! "THUN-DER!"
I believe in his AC/DC reaction video he said he liked that song.
The Libertarian Metalhead True, I just love the fact that he can't help himself, even though he's not that fond of them in general.😉
Michael Berthelsen How about Highway to Hell!? Beautiful range and a beautiful voice. Bon Scott rocked!
Aiden Macleod I meant Mike, not people in general. ;-)
Aiden Macleod Nah, it was for Mike, since he doesn't like AC/DC, but he can't help himself when he hears the word 'thunder'... ;-)
One of the top comments on the original video talked about how they couldn’t wait for the Become The Knight reaction to come out and now here it is 😂
Bob Wesley I think it was mine 😂😂
Back off it it was mine 😂
Shayan M nah m8
Lol. They should really stop doing kids reactions though, I like teens and especially college kids better
Shayan M yeah, i agree
Can someone make a metal “family tree” with black sabbath at the bottom and more and more bands influenced by each other?
Someone already did.. external link -- mapofmetal.com
enjoy ;)
Watch the "Headbanger journey"
Give Andrew O'Neill's 'History of Heavy Metal' a read (or listen to him doing it on Audible)
technically Iron Butterfly would have been just a hair before Sabbath
@@KornmanUNstoppable Led Zeppelin and Blue Cheer too
black sabbath is one of the greatest bands to ever exist. enough said.
elizabethjeanee Co-sign.
@HetaliaHeadbanger and stoner/space/desert/doom rock/metal to this day pretty much copies black sabbath with a pinch of their own
Fuck yes.
elizabethjeanne as well as Zeppelin and the Beatles
@@J.PC.Designs I love them but idk abt that
For about 30 years , I thought a lyric from this song was "nobody wants him, he just stares at the wall", which I thought was the most bad ass lyric in the history of Rock. I recently looked up the lyrics and found out the correct line was "nobody wants him, he just stares at the world". The most badass line in the history of rock never was.
"He has a good voice....a memorable voice" gotta love Sydney
letiquia Sydney is awesome but she said that cuz she didn't hear the Dio era songs
Ozzy Sabbath > > Dio Sabbath
Ozzy can't say a sentence without stumbling, but he can sing his ass off like nobody else. Dio was O.K. (loved Mob Rules) but he never held a candle to Ozzy, and his bitterness towards Ozzy really stained his soul. Dio lived his whole life being bitter and bitching about Ozzy. You can find a hundred clips of Dio slighting Ozzy on RUclips...I've yet find a single one where Ozzy slams Dio.
Never knew about him being bitter about Ozzy. Weird.
How can anyone not like the song Black Sabbath? It's the fucking blue print to everything that metal stands for. It's the ultimate metal song, and it was the very first one. If you don't worship the song Black sabbath, you have never understands metal. For fuck sake...
The dude wear a pony tail, and waves around a glass with a marble in it every episode for gawds sake...I really don't think anyone watches these clips for anything other than to make fun of him. The most classic line..."Hipster kid"... LOL Evidently he's oblivious to the fact that he's one himself.
Am I the only one who only watches these react videos through mike
Thomas Likes Red Nah, Mike makes it a lot more entertaining and funny
You are not alone lol
I really like the kids react vids. I've watched so many of them. I guess they remind me of myself...or the self as a kid that I wanted to be...?
I normally watch the react videos and immediately after I go "OK, let's check what Mike has to say about that"
Thomas Likes Red why watch stupid kids twice?
i wish they had the NIB bass solo

How come everyone is saying that the heaven and hell album is what they should've played. Yes HELLA GREAT ALBUM. BUT! What about dehumanizer? such an underrated album.
Honestly, Black Sabbath is one of my favorite bands. They’re music just has something that’s great about it. I think part of it is their blues-rock and Beatles influence that sets them apart from other metal bands.
My birthday is in one hour so I'm just gonna pretend this is Mike's present to me
Alexis Gates happy early bitthday mate

Alexis Gates happy early birthday

Happy Birthday Alexis \m/
I’m surprised how paranoid became so popular. The manager of Black Sabbath stated that an album ‘war pigs’ would not sell good. This is why it’s the first song in the album, so a few days later Tony Iommi picked a cool tune to play and Osbourne went with it and started Rambling random sentences. This is why you don’t see many comparisons within the lyrics. The song was literally made in 30 minutes of playing time. The album would now be able to be called paranoid because the bands manager wanted a song in the album named the same as the album.
_"Osbourne went with it and started Rambling random sentences"_
Yes, that's how the melody was written (he sang random words to come up with the melody, a bit similarly as "Yesterday" by The Beatles was written). But those are not the lyrics that you hear on the album version - they kept the melody and Geezer wrote the actual lyrics you hear on the album.
Cringe Crewism 101 but the album cover was related to war pigs so it was a bit wrong. And well Sabbath is famous for being fast in their recordings the first album (black Sabbath) was recorded in 8 hours later on after warpigs they started putting more time with proper studio for recording.
Javier Martin I remember hearing from the show he does with his son, Ozzy and jacks world detour, on one of the episodes, Ozzy states that when your in the fast lane and popular to just make a lot of music. This is why they recorded albums at the time in a fast manner was because of Ozzy’s philosophy to recording music.
still wondering why there is no kids react to Van Halen
Ryan B also Kids React to Skynyrd.
Ryan B yeah, along with Rush
holly fuck yes
Ryan B they need a kids react to MOTÖRHEAD
Def Leppard
I'd like to see what their reaction would be listening to Pantera.
Imagine their reaction to Fucking Hostile
I don't want kids but if I had a kid, I would want it to be Sidney because she seems the most genuine and open-minded when it comes to Kids React
i typed this comment before you sang her praises btw....she's going places
When you said “when you teach your self a riff like iron man you feel like a badass” I felt that
Make sure to sign that petition guys and tweet it at dream theater and the Fine Bros
Ozzy actually got a DNA test to see why his body took all of that, and it seems like he actually has some kinds of gene mutations. I don’t know why.
They should've done some songs with Dio in them, like Heaven and Hell
Shayan M neon nights
Jonathon Manfredi OOOH NOO
Sign of the Southern Cross
voodoo
The Ozzy-era songs are why Sabbath are popular though
Rock and roll Can never die
Primal XX NEVER SAY DIE AGAAAAIN!
Yet it will
Quinn Van Nice Nah there will come someone like Kurt Cobain and bring rock back
Primal XX nor will the symptom of the universe.
Primal XX First of all, rock and roll is freaking dead a long time ago.Second of all, this is heavy metal, metal will never die
I need to sleep, damnit Mike.
Stay up and listen to you’re profile pic instead!
No contest. Keith is already completely embalmed. Have you SEEN his face?😉
THEY DIDN'T MAKE THEM LISTEN TO ANY DIO SONGS!?
Niceknamed Now THAT'S a shame!
TheRIP 375 still need to prolly
Niceknamed do u think they would have found them worst
that's sad tbh heaven and hell was a kickass song
HERESY!
Dude. Seriously? You Don't like Black Sabbath (the song)? Arguably the first ever metal track. THAT singular track gave birth to the genre known as metal.
Each to their own but to state any Ozzy solo track as being better than Sabbath is ridiculous.
Cough cough blue Cheer Summertime Blu3s coughy coffee
Diary of a madman is better than any Sabbath track
Dude AND he doesn't know what stoner doom is.
PFFFF he calls himself a good music critic when he doesn't even know his metal genres.
So that song is doom metal?
I would say it is.
That isn't why it's a great song - it's a great song because it's a fucking great song!
I had to stop xvideos for this!!!!!
Alecin Solidarity don't worry, your not the only one to stop porn for this
Alecin Solidarity same
Oh my satan, where art thou when I need you the most.
Not to him but the kids
xvideos has been down for several days
War Pigs is such a good song. It woke me up whilst driving to Florida from Chicago. I was in Atlanta. I was about to fall asleep. War Pigs came on, scared the hell out of me and kept me up for three more hours.
Was missing 'Children of the Grave' & 'Symptom of the Universe', but cool otherwise.
And Sweetleaf.
david viteri supernaut
The Wizard?
You want kids to listen to Children of the Grave? They'd probably freak!
yep, and they'd get the heavymetalness of it all
Sydney for Squire!!
The song Black Sabbath is awesome, come on Mike, the whole point is to be uneasy. Why’d they skip the Dio era, disrespect?
Judging by the years that were posted, it sounds like the songs came from one or two albums. Black Sabbath made far more albums than that even with Ozzy.
My favorite Sabbath album is Dehumanizer, I like the Dio era more than the Ozzy era but still enjoy Ozzy's work. I don't really care for the rest of their discography though "Shaking off the Chains" is a pretty solid song from the Tony Martin era.
Papa Billydeth the dio era is known as Heaven and Hell by the fans so I think they skipped it cuz it technically isn’t Black Sabbath anymore. Also don’t hate on me plz I’m only 14
I recently went to an Ozzy concert and it's amazing that he's still as good as he is at his age and mental state. Zakk Wilde was also there and is also a beast like Tony Iommi.
When I saw TFB post Black Sabbath I knew a Become The Knight video was going to come out😂😂
When I was a kid N.I.B was my favorite sabbath song
Yes. In 70. Also Black Sabbath the song. NIB is my Mothers initials. Also my birthday is the same as Ozzys. Not the year though. Dec. 3. The first album I ever bought.
I was going to sign the petition for Sydney Reacts to Dream Theater but that site won't let me sign without giving them my address. That seems dodgy as fuck.
Agreed
Well, you can always give a fake one.
+Mate Safranka I just tried signing it with an address that doesn't exist and it worked.
The drumming on the studio version of War Pigs is amazing. The drumming on the Live in Paris version of War Pigs from 1970 were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I have never heard a better drumming performance ever. Bill Ward might as well have used hammers for drumsticks.
Should've had the kids react to some of Dio's songs when he was in Black Sabbath
They should've
just get the kids to react to Dio in general.
Darktro0per Damn Right, H+H
Personally, I feel they should include songs from all of Dio's work: From his time in Ronnie And The Red Caps to Rainbow along with his Black Sabbath tenure and his solo stuff.
They call Ozzy the “godfather of heavy metal”, but Tony Iommi really invented it.
Bark at the moon > sabbath bloody sabbath? In what universe? No mention of the jazzy- blues middle 8th :(
Not acknowledging Black Sabbath as metal is like calling Dream Theater or King Diamond dark ambient or disco. Black Sabbath is the creator of heavy metal, Tony Iommi the creator of the heavy and evil sounding shit and one of the greatest bands ever. If you disagree then you're not even a music lover let alone a metalhead
TheLoneWolf873, There are sadly people who deny that Sabbath were a Metal band.
Joshua Ibarra I think I've been living under a bubble this whole time. I never knew until like three months ago that people refused to call Sabbath metal. Some of those same people told me that Iron Maiden is blues rock and metal was invented in the 90s. Lmao!
That...has to be a joke...like literally... IRON MAIDEN A BLUES ROCK BAND?!
Joshua Ibarra I wish it was too bro. These are the kind of things I hear on a regular basis thanks to being in the company of people who are casual listeners with shitty taste, and in some cases overly religious causing them to label me as some depressed schizophrenic or devil worshipper even after telling them I'm atheist. Wonderful isn't it?
One of the wierdest things I ever heard was that Judas Priest isn't a metal band but a rock band!?
Is that a Corey Taylor shirt!?!
8:04 - Here's where you have to take the year into context. This was their very first song, on their very first album, and it was released in 1970. The "creepy stuff" in the beginning? When have you ever heard a song before this point that had any "atmosphere" like that?... This song, (nor any song on any of Sabbath's albums, especially the first one) was in any way 'commercial', which, keep in mind, most music up to this point, and past this point was.
Sabbath is always credited as the first "metal" band, but that entire first album had some heavy atmosphere, something that wasn't really featured on albums or songs up until then.
You are the reason i dont sleep
Would have been cool if they played Planet Caravan to really show the différences between their songs
Anyone else noticed that he spelled it 'Sabath' in the thumbnail?
who cares
I'm disappointed they didn't cover anything from the "Dio era". Heaven and Hell seemed like an obvious choice.
And the mob rules fantastic song
Kid: "there's like a lot of guitar in these songs"
Damn right there is
😂
You know what , when Jackson’s not being too cool for the room he makes some good observations !
I signed the Sydney reacts petition because of Twitter, lol.
TheBlackKnight1o1 I bet she has no idea how dope she actually is
The imitation of the hipster kid was everything!! Lol
Jackson is probably into Black Veil Brides XD
Sydney is great
Melbourne is better 😂😂😂
"Very good observation for a little shit"
ROTFL.
Just when i was binge watching your reaction videos, i get gifted with the one for my favorite band!!! Love the material on this channel.
As for the song "Black Sabbath", the song serves way more for historical value - if you went to any of the shows on their last tour they put this song first, and it sets the tone very well. It's kind of the de facto beginning of heavy metal, and that's why I like it. it's not necessarily the best song in their catalogue, or even the best one on their first album, but it serves as a testament to the genre itself.
The bridge riff in "Black Sabbath" is very cool, love it. "is it the end my friend", decent solo too!
Black Sabbath is one of my all time favorite groups, I personally prefer Ozzy with Sabbath over his solo stuff although he did have some great solo hits.
In “N.I.B” I personally really enjoy the bass intro with the wah, it just sounds so neat.
Hey mike I️ like the reaction videos and to switch it up you should react to some watch mojo videos like top 10 frontman in rock.
griffen salley but WatchMojo is so fucking ridiculous
Watchmojo sucks ass, and I'm afraid Loudwire is beginning to turn into them as well
Luke S
Exactly, so Mike's reaction will be even better
But.... but.... Black Sabbath is such a badass song. The atmosphere it creates, especially as the opening to the very first of Black Sabbath's discography, is just so haunting and badass. It's the perfect introduction to the genre of metal that they created
The Mummy (2017) staring Keith Richards and Ozzy Osborne
Just got a sabbath tattoo so seeing this made my day 😂
1:53 - Another kickass song for this is How Many More Time by Zeppelin, (that's honestly my all time favorite "jam" song), nothing else comes close, try it out and you'll see why.
Is that black materia in your glass Mike?
11:36 Have you seen the video of Ozzy preforming Bark at the Moon as the 2017 Eclipse darkens the sky? It's pretty awesome.
Nope, but heard amazing stories. Need to see this.
Btw, thanks for continuing to watch dude \m/
Thank you for broadening my musical horizons and knowledge. I've been here since you were at 15k, I'll be here until 15mil! \m/
Also, I saw a dude in public with a Dream Theater shirt on. Faith in music restored!
Are you disappointed that they didn't have anything about Dio ?
I certainly am. Dio is god!
TheLoneWolf873 Fuck NO! God doesn't exist and never did.
TheLoneWolf873 He was. He was :(
SED REAX fuck the edge!
The song "Black Sabbath" is one of the first Doom Metal songs
I like "Sweet Leaf".
Also, what is that black ball thing in Mike's glass?
StutteringCrisTop10 It's like an ice cube but made of metal
StutteringCrisTop10 Sweet Leaf and After Forever are the best Sabbath songs!
Black Sabbath starts with playing
Some kid: does a fortnight dance
Headphone users beware!
me too! he should do some loudness equalization
nah you turn up the volume to full blast and take it like a man
"oh yeah! this is the iron man theme song" Lmao xdxdxdxdxd
Fuck. now I need to go and hear some of sabbath
Thank you for those videos ı learn so much things from you about the metal and rock culture
You're so fucking awesome
That kid: The guitar guy
Mike, Sabbath with Ozzy or Sabbath with Dio??
Sabbath with Ozio
Ozzy
Anup not even a question.
The thing about Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath from the album Black Sabbath is how different it was from anything else at the time. Like imagine yourself in 1970, you just got back from your favorite record store and you put this album on the turntable and drop the needle. Nobody was fuckin ready.
Yeah, people forget that heavy metal was just taking form, so it was a little crude and unrefined because it was new and different.
Lol once I saw the kids react vid i knew this was coming 😄
'Black Sabbath' I heard was apparently their interpretation of the Hammer Horror movies of the time (Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, et al), that they wanted to portray a horror movie in song form basically.
I hope those kids should meet Mike...
My parents, may they rest in peace, turned me on to bands like Black Sabbath and other classic rock and metal bands.
What's your opinion about Deep Purple, Mike? I'd love FBE if they made kids react to Deep Purple. It's one of the most iconic bands of the hard rock genre, and I myself believe that Ian Gillan's performance during his time in Black Sabbath was amazing! Disturbing the priest's intro still gives me the chills every single time I listen to it! Dunno why Deep Purple is so underrated, though..
I actually became a Sabbath fan when I heard about them
yes,, that's before i even heard one of their tunes
One of my former neighbors stopped by my house and spoke about them and i was hooked from that moment.
No joke
Ozzy is gonna surpass our lifetimes
I love how insightful you are in your vids, always so entertaining yet actually intelligent. Your knowledge on music is amazing, I always learn something from your vids 🤘
right why do they always show the kids metal and know one else
SyscoVids the teens at least have some knowledge of metal. The elders will obviously know it.
Well, there was the "Slingknot!" episode of Elders React, for example...
because they want to shock the kids with metal. kinda boring now in my opinion. teens and college kids always give more interesting opinions on music anyways
Tony Iommi got his middle and ring fingers, on his left hand, cut off in a machining accident in a factory, that's how this symbol became so popular \m/ that's also the reason why he fretted the guitar in that way.
,,It's iron Man Theme song"
..
The song black sabbath is my all time favorite black sabbath song. It's sinister, ominous and radical. I get why the band often used this as their opening song when they played live. It's actually a perfect first track to the band. It's like saying to you: "yup, this is black sabbath".
But... but... but where is Dio? 😢
10:20...yes! That bass tone! I love that part of the song...for its era, that thick fuzz was a pretty sweet touch.
Bark at the Moon better than Sabbath Bloody Sabbath? Sorry you lost me there.
Both great songs but I like bark at the moon
Post-Randy Rhoads fat 80s Ozzy is not good IMNSHO,
Great reaction!
It's cool that you're alright with Black sabbath, it's actually the very first band I listened to and thought: "Being in a band would be so cool" and now about 3 Years later I play in 2 Rock bands with some mates and it's just pure fun!
I'd love to see Sydney react to DT, I'm a fan myself, though Black Sabbath is one of the bands which had a big impact on my taste and guitar playing. Oh and as I discovered them 4 years ago together with Motörhead I thought: TURN UP THE BASS.
Though it's simple, it's effective... and you actually hear it.
How bout u make a video on who you think are the best bands om history. You keep saying who arent yet you havent said who your favourites are. Except from Dream Theater
Get me to 100k subs.

His favourite artist is Steve Vai I think. I am 199% sure
