Glow is BEAUTIFUL !! I bought it again this spring, and now I am one of the few wearing it compared to the nineties, and I get compliments!!! 😊

I'm one of those who love.JLo Glow. I get lots of compliments when I wear it and usually people say something like "you smell so good but it's not perfume. Maybe it's your shampoo." Some people think I just got out of the shower and that's my favorite kind of scent on me. . A guy friend even said whenever he smells this on me, he imagines me stepping out of the shower with just a towel on. That was a weird comment but to be honest that's how I feel too whenever I smell it on myself. Soapy is my favorite kind of scent.
No I've heard people say the exact thing about soapy scents. I think it's weird too lol

I love this one too, but performance on me is about two minutes.
I complimented my sister when she wore JLo Glow, it smelled so beautifully clean. Then I sprayed it on myself and went on date with my boyfriend. He kissed me and asked why did I sprayed toilet freshener on myself 😂 actually, I had the same feeling

Glow is one of the only perfumes I rebuy.it does well all year, especially in heat and humidity. You smell fresh without killing people with your perfume. Great for play dates, the gym, mid day refreshers while wearing other perfumes, etc

One of my favorite fragrances that is soapy to my nose is Innocent by Mugler. It’s such an interesting mix of clean/fresh, musky, fruity, floral and gourmand! It has a powdery quality to it, but not too powdery. I absolutely love it. Notes: mandarin orange, bergamot, black currant, almond, red berries, amber, white musk, praline
Ralph by Ralph Lauren always struck me as a Detergent smell, which I mean in the best way possible. I'm talking the powdered Sun detergent from back in the day. Love it.
I love the smell of that one on others but each and every time I try to wear it on myself...I have a gag reflex with sounds and all LOLOLOL It makes me so nauseous which is sad

I love mugler cologne! i was kindly gifted a full size tester bottle from a mugler representative back when i was working in a department store. It is such a clean refreshing scent i love it especially on warm breezy days like we are having in the UK currently. The longevity is sadly lacking like you mentioned which is shocking for a Mugler as they are usually beasts when it comes to staying power. Mugler came out with cologne flankers last year and i had the pleasure to test them while i was in London and they are all fantastic fragrances, i think it was called the rainbow collection and they are meant to be layered with one another but they are lovely as stand alone fragrances. Also Demeter fragrance library do a Mr bubble fragrance!.

I am sorry, Sarah, that you had your tub clogged and even the plumber had a hard time clearing it. I hope you got it fixed by now. My sink in the bathroom is clogged, but I am dealing with it and using the kitchen sink right now. I was lucky not to get hurt too bad this morning, and I fell forward to the floor in my bedroom being stuck on the cord of my hairdryer. The paramedics came, but I did not go to the hospital. I received a beautiful perfume bottle with the name Parfum D’OR and it smells, and the bottle is gorgious and it cheers me up. Take care.
I have to add that the perfume Parfum D’OR smells fresh and nice and the bottle is the nicest in my whole collection.
Elizabeth arden beauty is classic while considering soapy ,clean ,a bit seductive fragrance .

Sorry to hear about your plumbing issues. As for perfumes in this category I think I go for clean but not necessarily soapy. Like I love Moschino Funny and Fresh but idk if they're exactly soapy... just kind of clean. 2 of my favorite fresh clean perfumes have been discontinued; Clean Cotton T Shirt and Abercrombie and Fitch Classic. At least I still have them in my collection.

Byredo Blanche is my new favorite clean scent. It’s one step above being a “skin scent” and it lasts all day… and an OG fresh scent that I enjoyed in the past was Estee Lauder Pleasures

I remember CK One, had a huge bottle but it just didn't last. I want to try JLo Glow. I just got a new one called Pleats Please by Issy Miyake -- had a gift certificate for CVS and this was under $50. I liked it out of the bottle and wore it to bed, but this morning it seemed to lean more masculine, though my caregiver (who is not one of the thieves) complimented it. She smells great and she wears VS Him.

I smelt Jlo Glow in Kohl’s and thought it smelled so much like Evyan White Shoulders. I smell a lot of rose and maybe a slight gardenia smell.

I enjoy Curious by Britney Spears. It is a lovely soft scent I can wear to work that won’t offend. It is quite different from any of Britney’s other scents. I love Chloe, I wore it yesterday and I felt like I was in heaven! I hope you can get your plumbing issues figured out. 💕

Okay, so I own D&G Red Cap and I found a perfume that smells similar, but it is better to me...it is soapy, musky, but with a heavier dose of incense in it than Red Cap. It is much smoother too. The bottle is a tall sexy black studded deal Valentino does. It is Valentino Noir Absolu Musc Essence (unisex, 2018).
Valentino Noir Absolu Musc Essence was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Pescheux. Top notes are Aldehydes and Heliotrope; middle notes are Rose and Orange Blossom; base notes are Tonka Bean and Woody Notes. I think you will love it, Sarah and blind buy safe for you! 🖤

A nice clean musk scent is Casual by Paul Sebastian
'Soapy' is a fantastic unofficial fragrance genre, I love it! The soapiest fragrance in my collection is BY FAAAAAAR 'Heritage' by Fragrance du Bois. It smells exactly like a bar of soap. Albeit, a very expensive bar of soap...ouch 💰.

Sarah Mayes Wow better than I thought! I am 54 and grew up taking Mr. Bubble baths! :) As Soon as I watched your review I became obsessed. I guess the line was carried at Ulta and Target. I found a new bottle in box super cheap on eBay and can hardly wait to get it!! 😀🛁.

I’ve been wanting to try that Dolce and Gabbana red cap! Since you have tried the German one and the Italian one, can you clarify which of them is the more aldehydic soapy one? Which one has the incense? Is there a big difference between the two?
Also is it aldehydic like Chanel No. 5, or is it more casual?
Hi there! The German version is the more clean, soapy, the EuroItalia is the more incense one. They are both very aldehydic but more casual than Chanel No. 5. I hope that helps! ❤️

Soleil Neige is very clean and nice. Not worth the TF price, but I just get the decant from Royalty Scents. It also dies down too fast. If only there was a cheaper and longer lasting dupe.
I love soaps, but don’t like to wear soapy perfumes. I own CK one though and love it. I would consider L‘ eau d‘ Issey soapy too. I used to love it, but I don’t like it that much anymore.
