Hi somji , I just love the way you cook vegetables, and they taste good. I will be trying this recipe, just wonder can I change lime juice to lemon juice instead ? Thanks. Looking forward to your reply. Thank
@@HomeCookingwithSomjit you are so lovely and sweet. I have tried a few others of your recipes like braised chicken wings with potatoes and leeks with garlic ….. we love them
Hi Somjit, is that fresh or dried black fungus? Is it the same method for fresh and dry black fungus? Also, how long can I keep the stock in the fridge? 😃 Thank You for the recipe, looks delicious and healthy 👍🏻👏🏻🙏🤗
Hi Ong Babe. It's a fresh black fungus. For fresh fungus, you can wash and cook it straight away, it can be kept in the fridge for a couple of days before it goes bad. However, for the dried fungus, it needs to soak for about 20 to 30 minutes until maximum expanded, then wash it and cut and then cook it. This type of dried ingredient can be kept for a long time as long. I hope this helps. Thank you for the question. 😀😀😀
Hi lalalisa, thank you for the question 😄 The black fungus does not have a fragrance or taste; but it is very gelatinous and chewy when cooked well 😄 Hope it helps 😄
Hi Donna J, thank you for the feedback 😃 Yes, that's correct. That's how I pronounce vegetables; my English is not the best, but I hope it's enough to be understood. 😃
You're really going to make fun of the accent of someone who's providing you a detailed recipe for free? Believe it or not, not everyone's a native English speaker.
One should always remember that when someone speaks with an accent, it is not his/her native tongue and that person speaks another language far better than you.
I love how you combined different vegetables and made it a new level appealing to eat.
Hi @puggychu, thank you 😊 This recipe is an inspiration from a Chinese dish that is local in Malaysia. It is very delicious 😀
