Excellent tutorial for those of us who struggle with perspective! You'd think there would be lots of videos like this....there aren't. Thank you for your calm, detailed explanation.
That demo was fantastic!!! I really struggle with leaves, you painted slowly and explained so well i could follow along. Thank you very much for your time and talent, here's to better leaves..😊
Thank you so much!😊 What a lovely compliment. So glad you enjoyed it! I have another popular one on leaves you might like as well, if you haven’t already seen it: ruclips.net/video/XpSP5icbVGs/видео.htmlsi=6tvxSB3UWlfyVYvP. Happy painting and thanks for being here.
This was great and very helpful. Sometimes we just need to hear it in words! I would love to see some similar lessons regarding the structure of flowers. Like how to make a flower face away from us, or to the side, or straight up.
Thank you so much! You touched on a topic that is so important. Most creators show flat leaves on alternating sides of a simple stem that don't show perspective. I would love to see a part 2 with leaves on a realistic curved branch with twisting leaves as well. Maybe show a rose branch with some aging leaves. And perhaps a plant with longer leaves in different perspectives, like a peace lily. Again thank you! I subscribed!
This is the first time your videos came up in my feed even tho I’ve been searching for watercolor tutorials, etc. I’m just THRILLED with your teaching style!! You are so clear in the explanation while also demonstrating exactly what to do. I’ve definitely subscribed and hit the like button and the notifications. I’ll keep checking for new videos as I go back and check out the older content!! I’m so excited!!😊 Thank you for sharing so generously.❤ Sending blessings, Nancy Rolfe
Thank you so much for your kind words. I've had the same thing happen where I've been searching for something specific for days or weeks and then all of a sudden new results show up where they weren't showing up before. It can be frustrating. But, I'm so glad you found me now. 😁 I post a new video every Friday morning and, at the moment, a short every day. Thanks for the support!! Happy painting. 😃
That was the most informative tutorials on the leaf i have ever watched,. Your style and pace is great for all levels, thank you so much for your time, i enjoy all your videos.😊
So glad it was useful. Have you seen one of the first videos I ever did on realistic leaves. It's one of my most watched videos. I've had lots of people tell me it was very helpful, too. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/XpSP5icbVGs/видео.html
This was so awesome!! I'm such a visual learner and struggle with depth perception so much even in my driving. Seeing you do each leaf step by step opened a whole range of possibilities! I love double loading my brush which is how I get most of my depth at the moment and a lot of wiggling my brush, but that heart shaped one was like the light bulb 💡 moment!! Thanks you so much for teaching us your tips!! I will be stocking your channel to see what other goodies you share ❤
You are so welcome. Thanks for watching. I'm glad this was helpful for you! I love double loading, too. It adds.a tremendous amount of depth and interest without even trying. I hope you visit often - I have a ton of great content coming up. Don't forget to watch my shorts, too. I give a lot of little nugget tips there, as well. 😁
I would love it if you did say a warm up leaves drill video in real time with the double load wedge, dagger, and or round brush. I love doing warm-up with a video as background noise, and it help remind me of techniques plus I learn more details my brain wasn't ready for the first time. It's gives a great place to start paint for the day! If I was a youtube watercolor artist I would definitely coin this idea and make it the theme of of content, but all that tech stuff stops me. Anyway thanks again!
Have you watched this one, One Stroke Variegated Leaves and the Wedge Brush: ruclips.net/video/2FXC-QzXU4s/видео.htmlsi=YCdEM_YhWixUjG6T. @bealaart Actually as I was going through your channel I realized I had watched them already, but for some reason I didn't subscribe and come back...maybe I was tunnel focused at the time. But I do remember those two videos absolutely helped out a ton when I watched them! And now I'm enjoying many of your some tutorials thanks for all your hard work and sharing your time and skills with me!
Nice lesson, but the music is distracting. Music , as all art, is subjective. What is calming to one, is distracting to another. The trend of RUclips art teachers using music, is a real problem for many who want to hear your lessons. We have our own music. Be an art teacher and leave the music to the listeners, so we don’t turn you off.

Free art lessons… I generally do not look a gift horse in the mouth, but you do you
Sorry that was frustrating for you. Thank you for the input.
