15APR2021 tandem testing

Tandem Testing went well today. James Race got his tandem glider set up with wheels and tow rigging and we got a few flights in before the rain. He needs a few more tows to be able to take his checkride for his tandem instructor rating, which will enable us to finally start doing tandem discovery flights for hire. We both will get our basic instructor sign offs ASAP as well, so we can hopefully start to grow hang gliding in North Texas. I can't fly a hang glider for a few more weeks, minimum, due to a partially torn ACL and MCL (banged up knee), but I'm progressing quickly toward normal, and it's no problem to fly the trike and be the tow pilot! We've been held up for weather, my house being on the market (SOLD, closing this month), scheduling, etc, but it's happening slowly but surely! The land search continues. Hoping to find my own spot to move to the country, tow hang gliders, and maybe throw in some ATV, hunting/fishing action!
