I CANNOT STAND DOCTOR PHILL TWO FACES
If he can't sort out his marriage (relationship) he then should STOP immediately try to sort out others marriage problems.
Therapists famously cannot solve their own familial problems, it’s too close and emotional to think straight.
Guessing “he couldn’t sort out his marriage” it’s not really the point here …
you or anyone,cannot know the reasons that made them come to that decision…
THEY BOTH DID …by choosing to divorce… !! we can’t possibly know what brought them to end
their marriage, nobody can, no matter how infamous or famous anyone is, when it comes to end
a relationship, there could be a million reasons for people to do this…I’m sure this wasn’t one’s only
choice…they both agreed to it… or even if they didn’t, who’s to say that their relationship could be
saved at all ?? In today’s life, and no matter race or culture, ending even a long relationship is an everyday occurrence… we should never be judgemental and quick to say, “they couldn’t sort out their differences”
because there’s NO WAY for us to know, if and how much they’ve tried to save it …
Sometimes there could be issues that CANNOT be “sorted” out … simple !!
Always depends on how individuals choose to deal with such issues, regardless of fame or wealth…
There’s people who can easily deal with their emotions,ending even the longest relationship…
There’s others who handle any difficulty with patience and unconditional love, but I couldn’t
be sure which one we can call the “best way” because it can simply mean that one of the two,
would be sacrificing their own peace of mind, to stay in a place that gives them no happiness or peace…
Better not judge others, according to our opinions, by pointing out what others “should do”..
NOT everyone thinks like we do… besides makes NO difference who they are, and what they’ve achieved
in their lives…people “split” every day…even “phycologist” like him…royals, famous rich people and the poorest of all …humans are unpredictable when it comes to living life “their way” for many it’s for their own happiness !!

I have been married 45 years myself & YES our relationship has had many shifts & I am sure it will continue to do so. My husband is 75 & I am 68, I can not see starting over at this VULNERABLE time of our lives. WE need to be here for each other NOW as we grow old. That is what we signed up for & that is what marriage IS. Perhaps his excessive wealth & success had a lot to do with it. Also, this NATION of ours is in crisis, WE need to help each other through this as well. I love my husband, IN LOVE, I don't know what that's about, just sayn. I wonder IF PHIL remembers writing his book RELATIONSHIP RESCUE? There was some good advice in there.🤔

I divorced after 43 yrs. My divorce was because my husband completely ignored me. I couldn’t be myself and was depressed most of the time!!! I was married and alone. So, I was prepared for living by myself. The only regret is, no regret…🤗

I am 32 years married to the man of my youth. There was a time I fell out of love. We both realized it and did everything in our power to be in love. It took much prayer we allowed God to intervene since He was the one who ordained marriage. Well we more in love than before. Together we decided to become less busy and focus on our marriage. Dr Phil you were too busy sorting other people's lives out that you forgot your own.

That is not how it's supposed to work. Doctor Phil, we ought to be married for the rest of our lives. We took a vow and you should know that more than. You should know that better than anybody else. We take a vow and we take it to the end until we die. So that is not how it's supposed to be. And if you, if you really served God and had a relationship with God, you wouldn't know, that's not the way God wanted things for you and your wife, God bless you and I'm praying for you and I pray that you don't go back on television. Sorry to hear . The only thing we can do . Is remembering our wedding and all we said to each other that day . We have been married 63 years and it’s not always been easy . But I keep remembering all those promises I made so many year ago .

I was sad to hear about this, but I truly understand as long as you both have an understanding and what’s best for each other. That’s all that matters and remain friends as far as anybody else having opinion is none of their business people do not know what goes on behind closed door speculate, I wish you both the very best and what the Lord has for both of you in the future.
What about his 1st marriage? Was it the same dynamic? What about loyalty to the initial spouse? If love is only characterized by good vibes, I can understand. They ebb and flow. But if love is divorced from loyalty, then it's no wonder most people seek divorce and couldn't care less about loyalty. The "feel good" culture has equated emotional effervescence with true love, and has gotten rid of loyal commitment. The refusal or inability to tackle the real issues in a relationship explains why so many marriages end up in divorce.
This happens in relationships. It should not reflect badly on Dr. Phil. They made the right decision. This happened to me and i did the same thing... let go after 5 years of contemplation.
Prayer makes marriage enjoyable. When God is not part of your family, you see divorce as a way out of crisis
