- It's ladies hour! On this episode the guys get a little out of their comfort zone and talk about watches for the ladies. The discussion goes from Mechanical to quartz, jeweled and not jeweled, and vintage watches being a great starting point due to their smaller size.

This discussion would really have benefited from having a female watch collector on the panel. Jenni Elle in particular would have been a great addition.
Agreed. A woman collector should have joined them. That’s what I thought I was tuning into. As women collectors we listen to a lot of guys in this hobby.
Female vintage watch fan here-Hamilton watches from 50’s and 60’s were absolutely made to last. I wear them all the time, have had zero problems. I also have a 1949 tropical dial longines & it works great as a daily driver. (I’m not going to emerge it in water or anything). First female CEO in watch world was at Wittnauer I believe. In an interview, someone asked her “how does watch making compare to homemaking”... In many ways this attitude has not changed. Mechanical watches are not marketed to women because they assume we aren’t going to care about craftsmanship or the beauty of the mechanics and that’s not the case. They sell us quartz with a bunch of diamonds assuming we want to look like Kim Kardashian or flaunt wealth. Next time invite some women on!
Usually love the vids and Cam is one of the best,, but scrubbed through quickly to see if any women participated in the discussion for their insight. Nope. The Kats from Tenn and Two, Jenny Elle, or a number of others would have been great guests for this.
What’s going on with the podcast guys? Are any new episodes coming out soon?
This was a strong podcast as always. It would be great to see more of the watch company history episodes - maybe including: A.Lange & Söhne, Blancpain, Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre, & F.P.Journe. I really loved learning about this history from your other episodes.
I got my first Victorinox I.N.O.X. i got in a ladies size 36mm so i could wear it more like a field watch ... cause it definitely isnt a proper dive watch but really is more of a tool watch... i got for work cause i work with lots of dirty water and dust and i heard they are super tough quartz watches under $500... I like dive watches that have a ladies option and since dive watches are typically a larger style of watch then even the ladies version is still a case diameter of a 36mm or 38mm so as a man with a little over 7 inch wrists they wear like a small field watch with the look of a diver....
Wristwatches and broaches are so beautiful. They are forever a jewelries to me. It is amazing how they are built and made are just so brilliant! How the mechanism works from a very miniscule parts of them is just amazing! And the arts that is put to it is really and truly a jem.
Finally!
THANK YOU!! Yes, we love watches too🐞

Can you guys figure out the history of De Lorean watches VS DMC watches? Would be a great little history. As I understand De Lorean started a watch design company later in life.
Nice to have a discussion about women's watches for a change. Would have been much better if there were at least one woman involved.
Nice video
What happened to any more of this podcast?
How much to buy your channel? Can you send me a DM? Serious inquiry.
36mm is still too big for my wrist. 😭
I feel you, I have a 5inch wrist and I can't wear 90% of men's watches. I absolutely love the designs though. Wish they made them in ladies size, or make ladies watches better!
The Porsche Boxster is a women's car, I Mean Come on There are watches that appeal to women there fore they are women's watches. Just as their are women's clothes. Does that mean a women can't walk over to the men's section to get a pair of fruit of the loom briefs. No They can. But we label things to make items easier for the people whom they most appeal to to find.
Should of have women watch specialist on this podcast to have female perspective on those brands and current market.
Don’t discriminate against the Ladies.
First!
