- Easily the weirdest yet worst video game I've ever played.
I knew about this game like 6 days ago by reading its Wikipedia article and I decided to give it a try.
This video is actually my 3rd time playing the game so far.
The graphics are god awful, the background looks like a badly compressed JPG picture and the gameplay is repetitive as hell.
If you've played some of the shmup games of Action 52 on the NES, this one actually works the same, all you do is shoot, shoot and shoot.
Also, take note that I didn't add the music on this video, that song that repeats over and over is from the game, and it NEVER stops.
But the worst fact about this game is that it was commercially released in stores, this game is not a public domain nor it's a homebrew.
That's all I have to say about this game.

This game was made in 1995, turn two 9's and turn it 180 dagrees and you get 66,5 +1 = 6, that's 666, it's called 97 reference to 1997,now again turn two 9's 180 dagrees and you get 66,7 minus 1=6,that's again 666, is this a coincidance?? I'm not into AVGN as much as I did many years ago tbh, but yeah that episode was quite good. The best part was when he started to decipher the number 97 with many historical events.

If you take Desert Bus, CrazyBus and Big Rigs, then Hong Kong 97 is a masterpiece compared to those. Big Rigs comes second

HK `97 ..still to good in comparison.. and real vocals, a bit brainwashing indeed, but hey.. probably helps in a senseless "kill-em-all to reach a k-hole in reward" -situation
