    winner of the Olympiad in boxing in 93 maybe? The foundation of the Hellenic word has a Herakleides from Egypt down as the winner, and the Pausanias mentions him as having won over Apollonios who did not make it to the match on time giving Herakleides a technical victory at the 218th olympiad.

      Probably just someone with the same name. This Herakleides was a scribe, priest or worshipper of Thoth

    Surely the pronunciation should be Heh-ra-KLAY-deez. The EI of the penultimate syllable should be sounded like AY not EE.
