Played here back in the early seventies. Watching these holes with interest. Some of the bunkers have been removed as far as I can see. Used to be two bunkers on the left of four about 200 yards out. Made the tee shot really tough especially from the back tee. Such a shame. Hole four definitely the hardest hole on the course in my opinion.
@@RealgolfWD Glad you enjoyed it. Even as a young lad I thought it was the best layout in Wiltshire. Shame you missed out on playing the old 10th. Played to 11th green from down near the 12th tee. Brutal. Could be a 2 or could easily be an 8! Now defunct sadly.

I suppose that means there my favourites. I do love remedy tho, but it is local to me so becomes sort of less special if that makes sense. Have u played many? What's your favourite?
Prestine condition at the moment. If there is no rain then shots are getting extra long runs on the fairways, greens faster and more challenging and as always accuracy off the tee paramount. But yeah it looks gorgeous right now.

I haven't played many as a junior golfer, but I have played a course called The Addington in Surrey. Everything about the place was amazing!
