I don't care about tigers personal life, there will never be a greater time to be a golf fan watching him in his prime. The man is the all time Great absolutely no doubt
I blame the women that cheat with him knowing he's married. Thousands of women throwing themselves at him... and we blame Tiger? Puhlease... time to start blaming women more as well. Cheaters aren't good, but neither is the cheating party especially whey they KNOW that person is married and is just looking for fame and a cash grab from a celeb.
Jack has more majors but Tiger played golf at the absolute highest level any other human being has every played. 4 straight majors? His cut streak? Winning a US Open by 15 shots? Just off the charts stuff that may never be duplicated.
@@washredskin887 Eh for Golf... you got Brady for NFL, Gretzky for Hockey, Jordan for NBA (back when basketball didn't have flopping and had an arm bar), and Ruth for baseball. Tiger and Jack were of the same mindset though... just didn't care about pressure or playing it safe.. they were all about dominating their opponents. They played the game fearless, which is very rare to come by combined with the talent to support it.
3:04 remember watching this live, all the commentators (including Jack Nicklaus) talking about how hard the shot was, how he could catch it a fraction thin and send it into the water etc etc then Tiger hits a piece of spectacular magic and you can just hear Nicklaus laughing at 3:15 because he knows how utterly insane that shot was.
3:05 this camera angle never did this shot justice. This is one of the hardest shots in golf. I live in dublin, oh, and have had the pleasure of playing this course before. Me and my friends tried recreating this shot, and you literally have to land it in like 1 specific inch of the green, and hole it out, or its off the green. The slope and lie are unbelievable.
The course is brutal. That rough is so incredibly thick, I totally agree that camera angle doesn’t do it justice. You can just hear how thick the rough is and see just how fast the greens are
This is my favorite one here too. To have the creativity and nerve (and a little talent too) to take a full swing like that with a speedy green and water beyond? Amazing.
The fact that a ball can roll 50+ feet on flat ground on the FAIRWAY is insane. I swear their fairways are better than most golf courses greens by a mile.
That McIlroy drive onto the par 4 green is literally on another level, straight as an arrow, as purer strike that you will ever see in the world of golf.
Won’t like him ever. He’s benefiting from giant driver heads. He wants a ball rollback for everyone instead of equipment limitations in pro golf. Daly over Rory any day
Should have included Jordan Spieth’s shot at the Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits on that ridiculous slope where he almost fell into Lake Michigan. Although it was kind of ruined by JT missing the putt.
It’s one thing to try and slice a low cut around trouble to the right. To fit in between trouble on both sides, evade all bunkers beyond, and have enough juice on it to reach the green is just insanity.
We have some of these shots. Just not on purpose. Some of the crazier recovery shots we might even be as good with... because we've hit the ball *into* such situations more often :p
Was it as loud as the Augusta crowd when he chipped it in on 16 in 2005? The shot you referred to was pretty incredible. From a Caesar salad, on a downslope, and got the ball going almost vertical. Tiger could do things from around the green Seve would have been proud of.
I got all these shots. What I don’t have is the time, money or coaching available to get to the next level. Unless I hit the lottery I’ll just be playing 1-3 times a month for the rest of my life, which I’m still grateful for! 🤙🏼
Golf is an art form and while enjoying the thrill I enjoy a fine cigar. There are levels to fine handcrafted premium cigar and spirits. Selective boutique manufacturers like Didier Cigars is truly special. I’ve done the pairing with Angels Envy and a Salomon from Didier Cigars. The experience is truly magical and sophisticated.
You have to show more shots out of the DEEP ROUGH like long fescue. It's the most ridiculous part of their ability. How they can hit a ball out of that is beyond me. I can barely get it out of 2 inch rough at my muni.
Golf's country club caste system ego is probably its biggest downfall. A million soccer highlights where they just say "this guy's great" without having to say "you suck and know your place," to everyone else. Get over yourself.
It is weird, i do not know why the pga does not simply title videos "These Guys Are Good" and number or date the vids. It woudl be a better branding effort if you ask me as it is their slogan
Google the 18th hole of the 1977 Open at Turnberry. Nicklaus hits two of the greatest shots in history under withering pressure to make Watson beat him. And Watson did. The physical prowess is one thing. The mental stuff is another story.

The noise from Rory's drive. Beautiful!!
0:01, I absolutely have this shot in my bag.
Except I’m left handed, and mine goes into the water, but the shot shape? Virtually identical

It was probably the easiest shot out of all of them
It was straight and far. A perfect golf swing.

375 yards.

These shot tracers are top notch!
Bunker shot at 1:07 was ridiculous, couldn’t even see the ball it was buried so deep
How is the "tiger the artist" shot from Mexico not on this?
I was expecting that 6-iron bunker shot from the 2000 Canadian Open
Go back and see where the flag is at 1:24 and how far right Spieth is aimed. Unbelievable is right

Keegan Bradley through the trees with that fading stinger… 😍
the Bill Haas shot to win the FedEx Cup was also INSANE.

3:05 the loudest golf crowd I have ever heard.

Check out Tiger’s two eagles on the back nine in the third round at Torrey pines, that crowd noise is on another level
There’s always that one guy yelling at the ball to get in the hole. Makes those shots that much better
Tigers slice wedge at Mexico in 2019 can’t believe it wasn’t on this
Tiger was insane in his prime. He could do anything
Wow amazing
Sad they wouldn’t be playing Austin CC anymore. Such a fun course for match play
Oh I can hit that Tiger bender!! It's usually when I'm aimed down the middle with ob on the left.
1:16 not just the bunker shot, but it was for his third eagle on that same hole
bro rory can just do it perfect, that driver on the green
Reading this as I’ve shanked my 5th shot in a row on the range, it’s great medicine. Only my 4th week of practice thougg
Better to hit all your sh*nks on the range than on the course, I always say. 😁
I have all the shots that come right before having to have these shots...
I think I'll try golf. Seems pretty safe.

"We _have_ seen an alligator in this lake..."

Going by the title of this video, I was expecting it to be full of clutch putts from 10 feet to save par.
Where was the last shot from Tiger, what tournament was it.
Can pay attention to each other.😊
3 eagles in a row, on the ninth is insane honestly
could have added tiger's helicopter fade
A lot of these shots resemble my shots except they happen when I am trying to not make them.

Alright we get it the pros are good no need to take a shot at us Amatuers PGA.

Once saw Lee Trevino hit a 6 wood over a tree so tall I couldn't have fired a bazooka over it
Lets see how these drive's go after the ball change

2:12 greatest shot ever?
No. But pretty damn good.
I think it’s fair to say that not all those outcomes were planned. Hard to pick a winner, but Rory or Tiger might be the one.
I have all these shots
Now if they could all figure out how to stick irons near the pin like Trevino.
How dare you assert I don’t have that low worm burning hook in my bag, sir
