- We were recently in Garden Grove outside Saint Luke's Orthodox Church Fellowship Center , gathering photos & video from the public sidewalk. We had multiple encounters at this location, including police being dispatched .

@@got-to-go pretty sure that no churches were involved in the fight for the 1st Amendment. They're involved in trying to SUPPRESS a lot of rights, but there's not been too many involved in fighting to gain any in this country

Literally my favorite thing is when they think they’ve asked the question they intend to ask by asking if they can ask it, without ever actually asking it.

What’s funny, and nit in a hahaha way, is the need to try to make people feel so uncomfortable, that they find it necessary TO call the police. I hope this happens at my church some day. We would gladly bring you a bottle of water and a chair but also would invite you inside and tell you that you can video anything (outside of the restrooms) you want including the service. Whether you would come in or continue to video outside would not be a concern to anyone at our church.

Orthodox Christians have suffered in Europe especially during the 90s especially instances while in prayer and the Church packed with women and primarily children there was 100s of instances when terrorists,criminals , radicals or Vigilantes use to commit murders and massacres upon them..
So that is why these people are so veiry of new comers or people they don't know.
This is still happening today in Places like Nigeria,Kenya,Egypt and Ethiopia to Orthodox Christians so you cannot blame the people for being on the defensive.
Plus since when did Jesus teach us not to stand up for the faith and be cowards? Never

They also usually, falsely, believe that the definition of “the press” means any “corporate “ media outlet but NOT U.S. citizens so they then will ask for you to “prove” you are a part of the corporate media by asking for “press credentials.” This includes the police at times. It’s ridiculous just how plain STUPID (uneducated) people in this country have become.
