I am white haired naturally and Friday a stylist ruined it. I spent another $600 today having a professional colourist try and fix it. I’m 90% back but this video has come to me at the right time xx thank you
I am over 50% grey and have used purple shampoo Brass Off by Matrix for years. I like the slight lavender/purple color. I haven't tried this brand yet but I'm looking forward to it.
Jus discovered your channel and I’m pleasantly surprised! Your use of lighting is spot on. As a watercolor artist I have to use color correcting “day” lighting to make sure my colors are going to be true and consistent. My hair currently looks pretty much like your “model”’ due to a demi-permanent hair color I had received two weeks ago. I have a double whammy going on with brassy golden at the crown and orangey light brown at the nape. I’ve tried I have fine, wavy hair that was about 75% white with the nape of my hair is still a light golden brown that appears reddish in the sun light prior to the coloring. Going “natural” didn’t work for me. My hair is also dry and porous. It’s the kind that curls immediately in humid weather, which isn’t an issue because I live in the driest climate. I had been advised to go with a demi-coloring to avoid over processing and to gradually ease my roots. I do not want to return to the salon!
I use thus brand. it doesn't turn my hair purple. I make sure to not use it directly after having my hair colored as I know My hair will be more likely to turn purple due to my hair being porous after Color. but I start by washing n conditioning my hair w what I use on normal basis. then I towel dry and apply the bold uniq purple shampoo. I let it set while I shower n shave etc (15-25 min) then rinse and use my own conditioner. it turns my hair a beautiful white/platinum color that I strive for. this shampoo is the best I've ever used! ❤🎉🎉🎉
They were a yellow blonde. That’s what purple shampoo is designed to neutralize. The video is a tool to show you the potency of the product. You are also welcome to purchase it and try it on yourself rather than use the video as a guide. And yes, some people who have lighter hair do use it to tone their hair to violet.
Would love to see you do this with silver hair that has a yellow tint to it. I have struggled with mine turning yellow and want it to be the white silver ❤️ name shampoo? where did you order?
New subbie, I just bought the mask.. but the reviews look suspicious. People w brown hair which they have taken a picture, claim it has made their hair a level 10 blonde w this stuff..I just can't believe this..
That’s incredible but when I used your link to Amazon it’s for conditioner not shampoo? It truly would be incredible to get this type of payoff from a purple conditioner. Thanks 💜
You look great with white blonde hair. Lots of people out there have very light lavender hair. This is a great at home toning option for them. I have several clients who use and love this product to maintain their color. I try not to judge people’s wishes and just help them achieve their hair goals.
That all depends on how much yellow your hair has. The purple will neutralize the yellow tones. Any additional time left on once the yellow is neutralized will start shifting the color towards lavender. So, just try it for a short period of time to begin with and adjust next time if you think you need longer. I always recommend a quick 1st time so you can see what it will do to your hair.
Then don’t leave it on that long and you’ll just get ashy blonde. Lots of people do want purple hair and I don’t think it’s horrible at all. Different strokes for different folks. 🤷🏻♂️
Whether the hair has been colored or not doesn’t make a difference. It tones out yellow on natural or colored hair. So, I’m not sure what your comment means.

I'm so glad it was able to help you out!
What do you think? Would you try a soft lilac blonde tone or a silvery blonde?

Thanks, this is exactly the video i was looking for 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Me too
Glad I could help! 💜
This was straight forward and smart and can you teach everybody doing RUclips tutorials how to present?
I’d like the 10 minutes because it’ll wash out eventually to the lighter one
Yeah, if you are ok being really cool, the 10 minute version is SO PRETTY and like you said, it always fades back to the others.
I have gray salt and pepper hair and sit in the tub for up to 30 minutes with color shampoo.
Eu gosto do tom branco polar gélido. Qual shampoo devo passar?
I only keep it in for 2 minutes. It's very effective! But almost a bit too strong so ya I'm careful with all the Purple Uniq products
Chuck, your videos are absolutely first class!! Love watching. You demonstrate and explain so well. Sebastian is a sweety! Love to you both ❤x
Oh thats a nice versital purpleschampoo. I need to look up of they Can ship to sweden so i Can try it 😃👏🏻
They are UK based, so probably so! It’s fantastic. I have lots of my clients using it now for at home maintenance!
Chuck Edwards Hair nice to hear 😃
This would be great if they were a brassy tone to begin with...
So this is to turn your hair purple vs tone the brassiness away?

Oh! At least the ten mins....this is so interesting......💜
Isn’t that tone so pretty!?!

Did you end up liking it?

What about price for only 8 ounces? It seems more than huge bottle of Paul Mitchell for $30-34.
You could also try Fanola No Yellow on Amazon. It’s also really strong. That’s what I use at my salon. amzn.to/3Qda6Me
I would do the 10. It's just gonna fade to silver.
Why would you want purple hair if your just toning? I’d want white blonde

I love your little baby💖
What level is the raw swatch to start with...?
It's roughly a level 9
@@ChuckEdwardsHair Thank you!
I uses it my self I use s it for five minutes
I,would love purple
So it will turn my hair purple??
If you leave it on too long for toning your hair, then yes, it can. But you can also control that by washing it out before it happens.
@@ChuckEdwardsHair How long do you recommend leaving it in just to strip the brassiness from freshly dyed blonde hair??
That all depends on how much yellow your hair has. The purple will neutralize the yellow tones. @@ChuckEdwardsHair Thanks for the advice!
Very helpful! Thank you!
I wouldn’t want purple hair….that’s horrible.

this is done on natural hair not actually dyed so it really dosent help....
