You should put the purple shampoo on your blonde closest to the brown hair first...leave it on the yellow-orangey blonde at least 3 to 5 minutes then blend it to the ends. It will make all the blond pretty much be the same color. (When putting it on the ends first then trying to blend it to the orangey middle closest to the brown the ends will tend to be more purple tint and the orangey yellow hair won't have time turn bright like the ends are.
I use both interchangeably as well! Being 62 yrs old, I’ve been trying to blend natural gray in with platinum highlights. The Purple Bold Unique works better on my natural gray while the Fanola purple works better my highlights. I love the vanilla smell of Fanola. The Bold Unique will quickly turn my highlights purple if I’m not careful. So… I use both. I think, on camera, your Fanola side looks shinier. Also, I need plastic gloves in the shower.
Sometimes I mix fanola with a little bit of my regular shampoo so I can work it into a lather and apply. you should start top going down with the shampoo 👍 thank you for the review
man, if you think the fanola reeks, take a whiff of some shimmer lights. If I had to I'd pick the bold uniq but I didn't have a problem using fanola until I ran out. shimmer lights however, that's under my sink, right next to the lavender fabuloso floor cleaner that has the same scent.
Thank you Heather. You touched all the bases. Talked about fixing mistakes, drying out your hair fix. It was about the products, you mentioned the names more than once. You cut to the chase...some others go on & on & on & I'm like can you mention the product again...because I've gone into a coma listening to your life story. Lol. Subscribed.
What a nice comment! I’m so happy you liked it! And thank you for subscribing!! I also hate when ppl go on and on so I try my best to cut to the chase haha! ❤️
It looks like the bold unique still left yellow, and the fanola left your hair more fluffy and full. I am far more concerned with results than smell. If things have a lot of artificial scents in them they actually cause me to react.
Unfortunately I got ugly dark roots as my stylist refuses to work with dark roots and says it’s too much work and stress on the Jaír to lighten them. But some people intentionally have this look. So it’s preference

You know what I always think about doing that and then never end up but I’m totally going to do that next time! Thank you 💜💜
I’d wear a glove with the Bold Uniq. Usually I leave it on for way longer but glad you’re able to get toning from it for such a short amount of time
The bold unique looks like it made your hair much less dry-did the toning without the fluff
Ya I think your right!! The dryness is so hard to fight!
It's because the Bold Uniq is sulfate and parabene free and the fanola isn't. It actually got SLS in it..

You have beautiful green eyes (like me) & look so much better in shower without all the mascara!

Very informative Heather, Thank you!
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed 🙏🏼
Just one thing, don't rub your hair between your palms like that as it'll damage your hair.

Suggestion: look for fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
